I utilized Borsberry Law for a DUI case. Joe was straight forward, explaining what I options I had and what the law was regarding the charges from incident. After a long legal battle, we had the DUI dropped and a very favorable result. This prevented me from having to work through a reinstatement process if the charge had held up. I would recommend Joe and his office to anyone in central IL with a case in criminal or his other areas of expertise. Excellent lawyer. A very helpful staff. Overall, a great law practice that produces results.

I hired Duane to help me through my child support set up and JPA agreement which is complicated due the fact that my ex and i could't agree on anything. From the first time i sat down in our consultation i knew that this was the attorney for me. Mr. St Pierre kept on making mutual agreements with my estranged husband's attorney, without asking me my opinion first. I am struggling because of these mutual agreements including financially. I now have no attorney. Not long after I hired Mr. St Pierre, he tried to drop me as a client because I wasn't understanding what he was telling me to do. I needed someone to be on my side and I did not feel like he was on my side even though I was paying him. He even told me that he did me a favor by doing a mutual agreement that I was saved two to $4000 for him doing so I Matt he could've lying to his pockets from me but he didn't. I can't find his pockets with money because I am given any money and temporary child support and alimony because of his mutual agreement. I'm supposed be getting almost $900 in child support and $1800 a month in alimony and I'm not getting that I'm getting $1200 a month and my estranged husband's attorney keeps on knocking me out of court when I try and ask the judge for a raise of this amount. Mr. St Pierre did not try hard enough to protect me and the interests of my son. I was difficult and he was right and I was wrong. That's not how an attorney should treat his client.

Cherly Powell is a top pick. She has went above and beyond for me. I had a very bad experience when I first hired another lawyer for my child custody case. The first lawyer promised me alot and delivered very little, it was a $3500 lesson I learned and I was forced to seek other legal advice. I was told about Cheryl through another friend and I scheduled a consultation. Cheryl told me up front the truth about what she felt about the case. It was very honest and it was the truth. She told me that it would take time and with all the factors in the case that I may not get what I want. I could tell that Cherly knew her stuff and was not going to steer me wrong. I hired her and she got right to work. Cherly work consistently for 1 1/2 years on my case. She is very responsive to my emails and she never left no stone unturned. I couldent have asked for a better lawyer. She was aggressive need be and kind when need be. She is a true professional. Michael is a great attorney. He did my divorce, which was very difficult due to the ex-husband's wealthy family fighting against me. He took them on with grace and knowledge. Since my ex-husband comes from a wealthy family, he went after me for maintenance support because he ran his company into the ground. I didn't want a dime from his wealthy family, but he wanted everything, including to kick me out of my very own house that I worked my entire life to buy. He even paid off a corrupt appraiser and a realtor agent who appraised my home at $100K over the market value. This divorce has nearly cost me my health, but Michael not only stood by me the entire 18 months of my divorce but was very understanding and answered all my panicky calls every time. At the end of the day, he got me what I wanted, and I have since recommended him to my friends, who were also happy with his services. I cannot recommend Michael enough, especially if you are a woman fighting your ex-husband for divorce or child custody. He will do everything the legal system allows him to get you the best outcome. I should have left him this feedback seven years ago. After seeing some of these reviews, I can tell you that they do not describe Michael, his knowledge, and his ability to represent you. You cannot find a more knowledgeable attorney in the area.

I went to Mr. Clinton in distress when I was experiencing some issues at law school. Thankfully, I ended up just transferring to another law school and ultimately did not pursue my issues. I am still writing this review years later because I feel reviews can help people so much when selecting an attorney and my consultation with Mr. Clinton is one that really helped me to find peace.
Attorney Clinton came across as a very knowledgeable and helpful person. I have interacted with many attorneys as I am one myself and I can honestly say that very few were as kind as Mr. Clinton. Oftentimes, attorneys can be snippy, but he was not. He is honest about if he can help you or not. At the same time, he remains a very sympathetic person whether he can help you or not. Rest assured, you can tell him your about your possible case and all your problems with no judgment. I also like the types of cases he worked on. I felt they were very noble causes and this was the reason I called him to begin with when I was having the issues I was having.

I was involved in a car accident and my car was deemed a total loss. I had many issues getting in contact with the insurance company of the individual who hit my car, and when in contact with them, I was left with no answers. I was feeling hopeless, and this was my first time having to deal with anything like this, so I was a bit nervous; but then I reached out to Steve, and him and his team made this whole process seamless. They were in communication with me, making sure I was in the loop at all times, they addressed any questions I had promptly and thoroughly, and most importantly, they made sure I was compensated for my loss. I reached out to other attorneys who didn’t take my legal issues seriously, disregarded my legal concerns, and did not want to take the time to even seriously consider my case.
Then I called Steve and he gave me hope in my case and he was caring, charismatic, and a down to earth, but also a fierce and brilliant attorney.
His team and his legal secretary, Carol were extremely helpful, she always communicated with me and kept me up to date moment by moment on my case.
Their office is professional, courteous, and I highly recommend Steve and his team at Mevorah and Giglio law offices. They also had a Spanish speaking attorney named Jose Gallardo who helped me with my case as well and he was excellent.

Jamie Wombacher and her associates are no less than brilliant, she is everything you want in a lawyer. I first called Jamie terrified and confused as I was being accused and arrested for something I did not do. For the past 14 months I was consistently blown away by not only Jamie’s level of professionalism and poise with every interaction she had inside and outside the court, but by her ability to be completely transparent yet calculated with every move and decision she made. Jamie was the best decision I ever made. She truly cares about getting the results you want. It’s almost as though my case was as personal for her as it was for me. I was in complete shock by her abilities during my hearing, she’s quick and pays attention to every detail all while making it look effortless. Best attorney i have ever seen much different from most. He tells it how it is wont tell you what you want to hear to get your money like most. I first saw him at work when he took a close friend of mines cases he was up a creek with out a paddle so to speak with a long record of drug gun and violence charges to come with it. but this time he didn't really do he was just in the right place at the wrong time. for a prole person that was all it takes now he was facing 38 years. Kunal worked day and night on his cases trying to get all the witness to show up he made late night phone calls went to peoples homes to take witness statements he worked weekends and i could tell in his voice this wasn't just a job for him. In the end my friend took a deal that got him 2 years. much less then the 38 they wanted the cases took 18 months and he was given time surved.
After seeing how hard he worked i sent my brother inlaw to him. he had a baby on the way and was facing 2 felony duis assault on a peace officer and many other stupid little charges his bond was set at 30,000 . that was way to much for his family to pay. Kunal out of the kindness of his heart took their cases and worked with them on the fees. He had him out and only getting 2 years probachion in less then a month. now thats what i call hard work. he dont mess around he gets stuff done it wasn't a easy case dude to his long record. however he makes it look easy.

I would not recommend this lawyer if you want to be sworn at, put down, and not contacted when things need to be taken care of. He did not give me any paperwork involving the case. The only document he ever gave me was a little receipt that looked like an apartment rent receipt. The points that I really wanted to be brought up were pushed to the side. I was very disappointed with his work on my fiances case and I would NEVER recommend him to anyone.

Custody, negotiating disagreements, and forcing compliance to an agreement, Doug and his firm nailed everything I have given him. He has always told me in advance what the high and low estimates would be for work. In my case he hit the low target on two deals and was in the mid range on one. All fair in my opinion.

Doug Warlick was absolutely useless in my divorce. He was never prepared in court every time I met him there. He claimed to know the judge on a personal level but every time we went to court the judge ruled the opposite of what Doug was asking for. He had no idea about the facts of my case when it was finally presented to the judge after continuance upon continuance. And as soon as my funds were running low he asked the court to excuse him from being my attorney. He bills himself as having "Experience with Integrity". Integrity?? We think not. I have never posted any reviews but Doug did such a poor job that I felt responsible to warn others: Do NOT hire this guy as your lawyer.

Everybody has to be careful when he deal with her. Court hire her to present my kids. She came to the court say a lot of stuff she’s not supposed to say it. She’s not gonna be honest in the front of the judge.

Mr Benedetto represented me in my divorce. My case had international elements, and I had previously consulted another lawyer who told me that even serving my foreign spouse would be very difficult. Mr. Benedetto got this important task done easily and quickly. Right away, he had some creative ideas that I would not have thought of, and that I believe most lawyers would not have thought of. These creative ideas led to a very good settlement for me, whereas less creative thinking would have probably left me with very little.
He was knowledgeable throughout and struck a good balance between consulting me as to what I wished done, but advising me on what would be best. I never felt he forced my hand, but still, he had a way of easing me into what would be most in my interest for me to do. I would say he is a peacemaker at heart, which is not what one expects from a lawyer. But I feel it is the best approach in family law cases, and in my case led to settlement.
The opposing lawyer was always trying to fight, and to escalate situations that were already anger provoking. Mr. Benedetto had a great way of calming the situation at various junctions where, without his input, I think a settlement might have become impossible due to the anger of everyone else involved, including the other lawyer!
Another real plus is that he is very easy to get in touch with. I have heard nightmarish stories from friends who hired other lawyers, who were not responsive to their calls. Mr. Benedetto was very responsive and available. He really made me feel as if my case was special. I'm sure he makes every client feel this way, and I highly recommend him as a great lawyer, ethical person and just an all around good man.

I worked with Ted about 15 years ago on a very big case. He was the most attentive and efficient injury lawyer I’ve ever dealt with. His follow ups sometimes were frequently but needed and he won my case in a very short time! Over the past 15 years I have trusted Ted to refer many friends and family; as well as him always being available to answer my questions. Please listen and do not use this firm. They will rack up large bills without any quality work to support their charges and fees. In a matter of a few months I owed them close to $45,000 and had nothing to show for it. When I asked for consultation with other attorneys or advice my pleas were not followed through with. I ended up settling my own case and my ex-husband took me back to court within a few months. The entire case was a waste and very hard lesson to learn. I was completely taken advantage of.

I hired Attorney Madera back in 2006 to battle my Child Support/Child Custody case. He was extremely kind and helpful during a very stressful time. Attorney Madera and his staff (Karina) were great at helping guide me through foreign territory when it would have been very easy to feel lost throughout the process. My case was difficult and sometimes very emotional. Although the outcome was not 100% in my favor, Attorney Madera ensured it was a fair one in court which is more than I could have asked for. This was by far the worst experience i have ever had dealing with an attorney. Initially everything was going well, as the case progressed everything started going wrong. I was usable to get a hold of Amanda, every time i called the office i was told she was busy and asked to leave a message. I would get an email response a week late. After waiting 3+ months of my time and delaying the case i got an email for the court that she was requested to remove herself form the case with no explanation. Never received an final invoice and all attempts to contact her were ignored.

I have personally witnessed the entire proceeding with a person any normal attorney (Basic not even good - would definitely do for a single mom and a husband who doesn’t want to support the child. Month after month passed, and each time I met with him he would scribble on his notepad but not offer me legal advice. I felt like I was paying for a very expensive scribe rather than a divorce attorney. He did not show any compassion or consideration for my case, and at times I felt he was working on my wife's behalf with his advice. Saved my son from a very bad traffic violation on his driving record. Worked with judge and attorney on an agreement that was fair to him. My experience with Attorney Curtis Ross was nothing short of a nightmare. From the outset, he displayed a level of rudeness and disrespect that was utterly appalling. When I sought clarification on certain legal matters, he dismissed my concerns with the utmost arrogance, labeling my questions as "idiotic."
Instead of fulfilling his role as a legal advocate, he left me to fend for myself in court, all the while painting a false picture of me as argumentative. His complete lack of support and guidance was both shocking and deeply disappointing.
Save yourself the headache and avoid hiring Curtis Ross at all costs. He is an utter disgrace to the legal profession and will leave you high and dry when you need support the most.
