From the moment I spoke with Attorney James Davis, I instantly felt like I could trust this man and that we would be in good hands. I called early morning around 8:10am and he called me back within 30 mins informing me he would accept our case and be at the first appearance.
We were able to discuss all details openly and never felt judged or like we were less than due to the circumstances. He gave his cell phone number to us and made sure we understood he was available to us whenever we had questions.
Attorney Davis is very easy to work with and his office manager Anna is the same! I never had to wonder where we were stood in our case - they made calls frequently and made sure we understood what was happening every step of the way.
The results were worth every dollar spent on the retainer fee. I hope to never have to use his services again; but should we be in need, Attorney Davis and Anna will be my first call.

I have worked with Mr. Willmott on three separate occasions, once in 2020, then again twice in 2024. Family law cases are very stressful and anxiety provoking, as they certainly were in my cases. I don’t want to draw comparisons, so I will say Christie is establishing the Best Practice and format for the law, TODAY. So much has changed in this area, leaving gaps for both interpretation and leverage. I benefited greatly in a Contested case because of my Counsel’s Outstanding research ability and aggressive approach. I want to thank God that we found Cindi ! When things look grim and hopeless for my daughter and children I believe we were guided to Cindi. The previous lawyer my daughter had was useless and kept telling her she had to keep going back into a home that was dangerous for her and our grandchildren because of domestic violence.

Since the beginning, they were upfront with timing, prices, and possible outcomes. She works with you , and explains the process with everything that’s going on when it’s actually happening so you don’t feel lost. My particular case, at one point, escalated to another case and she managed it great. I've used Omar for a couple of things and been very happy with his service. He's great about communicating, which not all lawyers are. His fees are reasonable, given the cost of legal issues these days. He gives things to you straight, but lets you make your own decision after laying out all the facts. I like his common sense approach. His ego doesn't get in the way. I like his ethics. I like his honesty. I've recommended him to my friends. He's got a grasp of what ordinary people are up against, instead of being insulated from the real world.

I hired this firm to take on a security negligence case. We’re I suffered a severe TBI back in December 2021 .. About a year later I questioned whether or not this attorney and this firm was capable of handling this type of case because I had doubts. I let Mr. Studer convince me to keep him as my attorney , so I did. When I finally had enough and I reached out to him to fire him, Seth Studer told me you don’t have to fire me because I’m stepping down from practicing Law. I said that might be best. Mr. Studer never called me one time over the 2+ years he had my case and asked me how I was doing , I’m not exaggerating. I have phone records to prove it phone records to prove how many times he ignored. My calls ignored my text messages and how many times he did call me the phone Records don’t lie. This wasn’t a simple car accident. This is a traumatic brain injury case , I’m not the same person I used to be. I feel like this attorney should have checked on me periodically return those text messages and those calls. I notified this attorney six or seven times throughout the course of two years telling him that I was feeling suicidal.. And that I wanted to know why I was having these thoughts that started every since I endured this horrific night and downtown Orlando it’s not that I want to kill myself, but I can’t control the thoughts. Good thing I didn’t kill myself. I wouldn’t be able to create this post right now. Thank God .. This firm should have gotten me some psychological treatment he should have sent me to a psychiatrist , he should have done a lot of things, but he didn’t. I will be filling out the Florida Bar Complaint and it’s going to start there. I can’t post all the screenshots of all the text messages that he didn’t reply to, but I can provide them to the Flordia Bar and I plan on it. I’ve retained two other law firms to take over the case, and they immediately put me in treatment for depression psychiatric reasons to find out why I’m having suicidal thoughts Tbi Treatment centers. I’m now getting the help and seeing the doctors that I should’ve been seen since Mr. Studer took my case, but he wasn’t sending me to any doctors and I trusted him is sad to say the different brain doctor that I’m seeing today have All told me why are you starting treatment three years after the injury you should’ve been receiving treatment when it happened so hopefully at that point in time I had a better chance at potential recovery but because I waited so long the doctors don’t think seeking treatment now is going to do any good and this is sad very emotional. I wouldn’t recommend this Law Firm to anybody out there all these Law Firm say they have the clients best interest the interest they have is the money going in their pocket And this is a prime example it said to say again this was the worst day of my life. It changed my life forever and I wish that I never hired this Seth stutter or firm in general because it wasn’t just Seth Studer. It was the Firm and that’s exactly what Studer told me . Make sure when hiring a lawyer, just because there websites say “ auto accident, slip n fall, security neglect “ doesn’t mean they have actually tried one of those types of cases before, just means there Liscence to take on that particular type of case. So please I give y’all some advice, attorneys are quick to send out electronic signatures needed for the victim to sign, So you don’t call around anywhere else. When We all should do are homework and find out more about the attorney of your choice before signing that email.

Robert was awesome to work with. My case took years to resolve and i never felt out of the loop. I could always get ahold of him through text, calls, or emails. He took what we needed into account and always made sure we were able to get the treatment we needed for our injuries. In the long run we were able to settle right as the trial started and we are happy to have our future treatment and more secure. Such a weight is off our shoulders and we have Robert and everyone else at his firm that helped to thank for it. In 2009, I went through a divorce after being married for 14 years to my high school sweetheart. I was devastated to find out that my husband was having an affair and that his mistress was moving from Boston to Jacksonville in less than 2 weeks. A friend of mine advised that I call her attorney, Garrett Barket, and I am so glad that I did!
From the moment I walked into the office, Garrett and his paralegal, Jan, did whatever they could to put me at ease. I think of them as the "dynamic duo." They knew that I was scared, devastated and had no idea what was going to happen to me or my kids. Garrett treated me with respect and was beyond caring. Jan was always available for questions and Garrett was always prompt to reply when I needed to be in touch with him. He knew the law and was honest about what could happen and did not give me any false expectations.
I met with several other "top" attorneys in town who were either not professional or treated me as if I was just a number. One of them even hinted that he would like to go on a date! When I met Garrett, I was impressed with his knowledge of the law and how respectful he was. He made me feel confident that he would defend my rights to the best of his abilities. Terrible service! All they care about is your money! They will drain you retainer quick and will ask for another one. I spent nearly 10k and my case is not even nearly settled. They will charge you with every emails you send and phonecalls that you make. I switch to a different lawfirm and was told that my case shouldve been settled by now. STAY AWAY FROM THESE LAWFIRM!!!

I am not one to typically write online reviews, but perhaps my experience will save others money. I consulted with Mr Loucel for estate planning advice for myself and my mother specifically about methods to protect assets from Medicare claims (he home). He charged me $500 to do research to confirm an irrevocable trust was the best path. After a couple of non response to my emails, I went to another attorney in the same field. At NO CHARGE, i was given a totally different answer. If estate planning is his specialty, in MY OPINION, he should have know about homestead exemption limits on property which would have negated the need for an irrevocable trust (again based on advice from the other attorney as i am no expert in law.

Following that I received full documentation of what information was required and we agreed a fee.
Several further meetings and discussions were held and submitted to the court.

Susannah Collins is a biased “investigator”. She will bully your witnesses if she is not on your side, which shouldn’t be possible as she is supposed to be an unbiased party, she is always late and she has incredibly poor judgement. She involves herself in parts of the divorce/litigation that has nothing to do with her work as an investigator. She sided with a person who owes more than 2 years of child support, and no they did not support their children in any way during that time . Who hit the car his children were riding in out of anger. Who stalked and harassed his children, ex-wife, and her family for years. He has been arrested multiple times and this is who her “social investigation” stated as being an amazing Dad.

I employed Susannah Colins for a social investigation. Below is how it went:
-Susannah was late for my initial interview with her, our home visit and every witness interview on my side. Not 5 minutes, or 10 minutes, like 20 + every time. That’s how much respect she had for me, the people willing to vouch for me, and the fact that she had been entrusted with such a job for my children.
-Before she left my home she told my children they should love their dad, because a step dad would not be their REAL dad, they only have one real dad; and she shared her story of being orphaned through a car accident and how much she would’ve liked to have her dad growing up. Showing that she is unable to separate her feelings and personal experience from her work as an IMPARTIAL judge of character for the well-being of children.
-She collected information but did not investigate. My ex made whatever claims he wanted and it was added to the report without investigating. He claimed to over pay child support (two years later he still has paid none), that he was not given the kids’ SS numbers so he could make a savings account for the children directly (in the process of the divorce that information was available to him), that I was mentally unstable and unable to take care of my children because I had been in a mental health facility for a month (this never happened. It is a complete lie), among other lies. Lies that could have easily been disproven, which could have lead to a report informing the judge of his comfort in lying during a legal process.
-The relationship between his witnesses and my children was never shared in the report. One of my ex’s witnesses had been around him and our children maybe 5 times for a couple of hours each time, in the entire 10 years we had children. This witness’ minimal exposure to my children and him as a parent was never even mentioned in the report. The second witness my ex had was a family friend that moved out of the state of Florida about 8 years before this investigation took place. This man has never even met our youngest child which was 6 years old at the time of the investigation. This witness’ minimal exposure to my children and him as a parent was not taken into account either. His third witness was my best friend. When I shared with my friend what Susannah wrote up for her interview, my friend told me that a lot of what she said was left out, that she felt bullied during the interview, and that a lot of what she shared Susannah would call hear say and disregard.
-I mentioned to her his racially insensitive comments and my concern about this for my children. A few days later my ex emailed me telling me he was not racist. I only shared this with Susannah.
-At some point in this investigation I had to consider stopping the divorce process because of financial constraints. I told her about it. Days later my ex emailed me telling me he heard about me considering stopping the divorce process and if I was having a hard time, I should've reached out to him for help. I only shared this with Susannah.
-Susannah completely overstepped her realm of expertise as an attorney and investigator by labeling my children as having the mental health condition of parental alienation. She is not a mental health professional.
-My ex who represented himself in court (pro se) kept submitting his pleadings to Susannah. Susannah is/has been a board member of the Missing Link of Jacksonville. An organization helping people complete pro se divorce paperwork. Impartiality?
-Save yourself the 5 thousand+ it costs to get a social investigation done and collect your evidence for your attorney.
