Kristen Buzzelli did a fantastic job representing me through a very difficult, emotional divorce with two children involved. It went to trial due to mediation being unsuccessful (only 5% of divorces go to trial). I originally selected Kristen based on her past social work and current family law experience. I found her to be a great listener, empathetic, supportive, patient, understanding, honest and real even when it was hard to hear as the client. Kristen is a very ambitious lawyer determined to represent her clients to the fullest of her abilities to get the best outcome possible. I am sorry to say my experience was not good. At all. I did not feel like she was fighting for me and my children. She kept telling me that she was going to address the abuse my kids and I were dealing with but she never did. She cared more about money than helping us. I trusted her. I hope all that money you charged me for every call or piece of paper you needed was worth it because you did nothing to help or protect me and my kids! Do not recommend!

Would give 0 stars if I could. Tried to call and make an appointment. Reached a rude operator that answered "Law Firm", took my information and said someone would reach out to me to schedule a consultation. Never heard from anyone. Crickets. Will be finding another solution.

Evy Luckett is amazing! I got my kids back 100% because of her!!! She was not working for PCB at the time it was different firm. However, NOTHING had been done on my case until she came on. Then two months later I had my kids. I do not know about any of the other attorneys at this firm but if they hired Evy they definitely have some good sense.

I did feel my case was given the time it deserved. At first meeting Phil was very attentive and ready to help. As we started, the amount communication was less than desired. I felt I was in large part ignored and pushed to agree to a parenting plan at the very last minute. I would not use him again.

It is a shame it has taken me more than a decade to find a law firm that knows the law, operates in a top-caliber manner, and treats the client like a human. I have had a couple of attorneys at Hale, but the one who helped us the most was Suzanne. Not only is she a bomb a** attorney, but she also knows how to handle and run a business, be classy, and professional, and have customer service. I appreciate her no-frills approach to handling cases and client situations.
She keeps a client-centered approach and looks out for everyone's best interest. Attorneys are indeed expensive but Suzanne makes sure the money spent on your case is allocated in a manner that does not leave your account on zero or paying unnecessary fees. She believes in transparency, honesty, and integrity; which is rare when an attorney is involved in difficult cases. She understands that the way she is represented in and out of the courtroom is a reflection of her business and there is not a time that she does not take her work seriously. The few times we had to speak with her on the phone, she has always been patient and attentive while listening closely to our concerns. She is very responsive and treats the attorney-client relationship as an important investment. You are not just a number to her, but a human. Should I ever need an attorney again, I will hire them again in a heartbeat. To all who work at Hale, we appreciate you. I feel as though I was wrongfully arrested for a DUI. I am a pretty boring mom who never goes out and had not had a drink in years. A friend came from out of town and for the first night in years I took her out in KC, had 1 drink, than drank water for about 2 hours, grabbed a bite to eat, and about 3 or 4 hours after my one drink got in the car and forgot to turn on my headlights and got pulled over by a thirty to arrest DUI officer. He did three field sobriety test and I lost my balance on the walk, the last test, due to nerves/anxiety (was shaking), it was on an elevated surfaces and a uneven cracked sidewalk. He arrested me and gave me a PBT which I easily passed but still insisted I was under the influence. I called many lawyers and many stated that many prosecutors are hard on DUI’s due to MAD and even though it seemed straightforward we likely would have to go to trial. I looked up Denise and was impressed by her credentials but once I talked to her I knew she was hands down the one I wanted to hire. She was confident in her abilities and what she would be able to do for me. I could have gotten a cheaper lawyer but I she was well worth the extra I had to spend to get representation that would fight for me. Denise was able to get charge completely dismissed. It is disappointing that you can do everything right and still get wrongfully arrested by someone stacking up cases but thankful for people like Denise who are able to represent people when they feel like the odds are stacked against them.
Denise, thanks for everything you did to represent me and get my case dismissed. I shouldn’t never need another DUI lawyer but would/will recommend you, hands down!

I got charged with a DWI in September, 2022. I hired Denise Kirby and she started by calling me and getting all the information she needed from me asap. She was very impressive with how she handled the case and she constantly kept me in the loop with what was going on. After watching the video of my arrest, she filed for a motion to suppress and won that, which resulted in the case being dropped. She came to court incredibly prepared and had a counter for everything the prosecutor said. Overall, watching Denise handle this case was very impressive and I would highly recommend her to anyone in this situation.

Shannon was the GAL on my divorce case. She is extremely biased towards men and treated me as such during my divorce. I was constantly receiving antagonistic e-mails from her. At a meeting in her office she told me “Katherine doesn’t have a backbone, so I have to be one for her”. This continued throughout the entire divorce. There were dual standards put in place for me that my ex-wife was not required to follow. One example is I was told I couldn’t take my daughter’s cell phone for discipline. She then allowed my ex-wife to punish our son by taking his phone away from him so we couldn’t communicate. I brought this up with no resolution. A major concern was she allowed my ex-wife to accuse me of being intoxicated, mind you when I didn’t have the children. She was not objective and did not ask me a single question before refusing to allow the children to come over for our shared 50/50 visitation. I was never given an explanation as to why and fully disproved the lie against me using scientific evidence, a blood test. Even after Shannon had the results she refused to allow the kids to come over or change her decision. This decision showed her bias, made her look like unhinged in her decision making and further showed she is an incompetent lawyer. An active bar complaint is being filed and a suspension of her GAL responsibilities is being sought. She does not make decisions keeping in mind the best interest of the children. In fact, I was told this is indicative of her character because when she was in law school she had an affair with her husband Robert, causing him to get divorced. She is a biased lawyer who’s decision making is clouded. 10/10 I would never allow Shannon to be the GAL on your case.

Would not recommend. Does not look out for the best interest of the child. Acts too busy to communicate with the other lawyers on the case. Does the bare minimum and then you have to turn around and dish more money out. She never once met with my child and was the gal. Agreed to my mom supervising a visitation with other party and never spoke to my mom nor interviewed her prior or after.

The attorney I meet with at this practice couldn't tell me if he knew for sure he could help me with my situation due to laws. I paid $175 for him to tell me doesn't know for sure. Then he let me know their extremely high rates. He maybe spent 10 minutes with me, he didn't even seem like he had any sympathy. He told me they charged $5000 just to help me get my daughter a restraining order and he cont even guarantee that I would work. This practice is definitely out for the money and don't care about their potential clients. Just a disgrace.

Your money is spent better elsewhere. This company does not have your best interests or your families in mind just thier wallets. They Will idavidualize every case to make the most profit even if the cases or motions should be or could be filed jointly. If you do your own research that contradicts what they are saying, they will lie to your face and tell you that you are wrong. Thier invoices do not add up and the entire operation seems shady. Avoid at all costs. Thankfully we switched our attorneys before they lost us our case and more money.

To start the legal assistants are super rude, they get mad when u call for updates they are not helpful, there was a lot of mistakes made since the beginning with the paper work which delayed the whole process, and then my dad got rejected due to uscis stating the medical report was incomplete, which the lawyer said that the law stated he did not need that part of the physical so she suggested we do motion to reconsider and then we were told the motion was Sent to the wrong place , and then every time we tried calling to get an update the assistants would be rude and they would tell us we needed to stop calling, we were obviously worried bc it kept getting rejected for mistakes that lawyer was suppose to take care of, and when we tried to get an explanation by the lawyer ( Angela) she literally told us she did not know what happened she could not explain, and then she told us that we needed to stop calling and wait until she called us, she was super rude and told us we could just get another lawyer, when we kept asking for an explanation about why it got rejected or why it said it was sent to the wrong place, Thank God we found someone to do things right and my dad was able to get his green card. I do not recommend this law firm if you are the kind of person who like to call for updates and likes to know what is going on, they were super rude after the process started but we tired to deal with it bc we had already paid some part, by the way they were supposed to send back the money that immigration was gona sent back for the motion and it never happened.

DO NOT USE! I hired an attorney out of the Troy location. But they assigned me an attorney out of the Arnold location, I was charged $700 in attorney fees just for him to drive to court every month. I was told I had to hire a 2nd attorney in the case. Another $2500 retainer. This attorney was out of Washington, Missouri, and he used all of my retainer fee just to show up to the first court date for the judge to dismiss it in the attorney never to say one word. my first attorney quit the law firm and moved to Texas and I was assigned another new attorney which I was charged for him to review all my case file. in total, I have spent over $14,000 at 6 court dates for nothing at all to happen. The law firm constantly put my money into the wrong trust account, which causes me to pay interest on my bill. Customer care is horrible, I highly recommend finding counsel somewhere else, and not using Stange law firm

The legal assistant, Holly, for John Fuchs is incredibly rude. I called to inquire a case I had submitted, she told me it’s “impossible we call every client…” I stated that is exactly why I was calling, to follow up and save her precious time. She also proceeded to sigh heavily on the phone while I was talking. I was polite, never angry. Maybe coach Holly on how to be nice to clients and proper phone etiquette.

I should have believed the reviews prior to contacting Stange Law. I scheduled a virtual consultation with them on 10/17 for the consultation to be held 10/23, received email confirmation and the email confirmation stated I would be contacted to pay the $175 for consultation. There was no contact by 10/21, therefore I had to call and follow up. The intake person I spoke with stated that my consultation appointment was not in their systems.
Based on this error on their side I opted to schedule an in person consultation, and they advised there was availability on Saturday 10/26. I booked that and was emailed a link to pay the $175 consultation fee, which I paid. The appointment time came, and I was at the location 20 mins prior to appointment as directed. The parking lot was empty, and I made calls to them which an answering service answered. Finally, 10 mins after my appointment time was scheduled and still not signs of the attorney and business doors were locked I received a call back from an intake person with the firm, and they could not get a hold of the attorney or law firm partner. Therefore, the attorney no showed for the appointment.
This is terrible business practice, a waste of my time, and totally unprofessional. The intake person advised the same, and they never got an answer as to why the attorney no showed for the appointment. If the attorney cannot show up for a scheduled appointment there is no way this firm would be trusted to handle my case or show up for court dates on time. I highly recommend people do not waste their time with this firm.

I was going through a horrible divorce and needed to hire Dennis, he was always so nice to me and he also let me do payment plans he knew I was poor but I was going through a divorce already. It took about a year but he took care of everything and everything on my background check and everything is totally clear and free and great because of him!! I really didn’t even think he was that expensive either but with how good he is!! My ex-husband even hired him for something too I thought that was very funny because I used him against him so it shows how good my lawyer was. Dennis is the best!
