Philip helped me with my DUI case. His rate was great compared to others and he took care of appearances with DMV and Superior court. He was able to reduce my sentence from 30 days down to 8 days (4 days with good behavior) which I get to serve in Sheriffs Work Program. He knows the judges and DAs and I would highly recommend him to others.

My Case was very complicated. Phil was kind enough to explain exactly what was done and also did what I asked. He went to the prosecuting attorney several times on my behalf to ask for a reduction. Great and smart attorney. He will fight hard for your case. If there is any small error in your report or procedure he will find it. After a year of fighting my case he got it thrown out. 99% of attorney's take your money and it will be VERY HARD to get a hold of them. You literally get responses from him in minutes (during business hours, i never tried calling him in the middle of the night.) I can guarantee he will fight hard for you.

When we came to Carlos A. Ramos, the case had already been to court several times, and our old Attorney, just wasn’t giving us any positive answers, we literally were doing all the work, But Carlos was referred to us by a friend and let me tell you, from the very first phone call we made, he took the lead! I had a reckless driving ticket with some other DUI complications. I found Byron on Yelp. He was quick to respond to my request for help. He gave me some idea of what to expect and the potential results. He knew his stuff. They were scary but not guaranteed. I didn't like the idea of going to jail for six months and that was looming over my head. He was able to get the charges and fines reduced and keep me out of jail. Putting Byron on my team was definitely a good decision. I recommend him highly!

I was pulled over for minor speeding and was hit with two other correctable offenses in the same stop (the officer was having a bad day). I hired Byron to defend me and he did an amazing job. He was courteous, knowledgeable, and organized. I call to check-in a few days before my court date and he was still aware of my situation and had all the facts straight. One evening in late February, I found myself arrested and charge with a DUI. The circumstances of my case were unusual. While I was discussing my unfortunate encounter with a friend, he quickly recommended Nancy King. From the very beginning, Nancy demonstrated the professional qualities and dedication to her clients that is necessary to win criminal cases in court. Nancy's team went right to work tracking down and interviewing all available witnesses. Although a plea agreement couldn't be negotiated, Nancy felt confident in our defense and we took the case to trial. Shortly before the trial began, the DA decided to charge me with misdemeanor battery in addition to the DUI for an encounter I had with someone immediately before my arrest. The prosecutor had planned on calling roughly 5 witnesses. After Nancy had the chance to cross-examine only one of these witnesses, the DA had no problem agreeing to a plea. The court found me guilty of drunk in public. We all have lapses in judgement and moments where our character is unbecoming. Nancy was referred to me by another attorney and it was a life changing decision,I was in sacramento county jail and also had a warrant from placer county,when nancy arrived she seemed to take my legal problems and carry them herself she made me feel at ease and handled all the proper appearances in both counties and what could have been literaly years of my life ruined with another attorney or public defender instead ended with her getting me a probation violation and no new charge and a rehabilitation program in placer county.Thanks to Nancy its all behind me now and i would recommend her in any criminal law case

I came to miss Calvert last year, with a domestic violence charge, I had warrants for my arrest, a battery charge, a breaking a court order charge and a vandalism charge, I was scarred as hell! I actually found Miss Calvert on this website, I got in touch and within no time at all I was free of the warrants with no arrest..she then tackled the criminal charges, ( each of witch carried a year In jail, that's 3 years not to mention possible immigration consequences witch could follow ) the DA came back with a. Few pleas, but miss Calvert handled me and the situation swiftly, with skill, precision and a smile! She was able to get just a few anger management classes and the charge will go away, with no possibility a for immigration to then get there hands on me! The best possible outcome is exactly what she gotta. She made my fear go away, she was very communicative and honest with me, I found the way she handled everything, well for no better words, ABSOLUTLY FLAWLESS! If I were the DA in Sacramento, I'd either be sending all my assistant DAs back to Law school or I'd be trying my best to recruit her! ( I'd put money on the DA at some point does try and recruit her ) she has the energy, charisma and skill none of witch I have seen I any DAs office or any law firm for that matter! Having the wrong lawyer on your team can be frustrating and costly. From the very first phone call, Michell listened intently to my legal plight, which had become an extraordinarily complex and elaborate situation inside the court. I hired Mr. Dedecker for a dependency court case and the odds were really stacked against me. He fought really hard and secured my innocence despite the county counsel being against me. He took my case and he was optimistic about it from the start. He really cares and it shows. First he was incredibly knowledgeable. From the first conversation I had with him until the last he was able to successfully explain to me the process of my legal problem and what he was going to do to help me. He was very responsive to all my calls and questions and enthusiastic each time I spoke with him. I was shocked that he answered his phone on a weekend and was willing to talk to me! I definitely needed a lot of support during my difficult time and he was able to put me at ease. If you want an attorney that cares to listen to your concerns and helps you understand the system. I was referred to Daniel Martin, but I didn't think we would use them, we just had questions. Truthfully I didn't have any idea how to deal with this type of situation so I chose to hire Daniel and I'm glad I did. Daniel guided us through a process that was completely foreign to us. We did not have the time nor the knowledge to fully understand how to handle the paperwork, our rights, and the court process. Daniel was patient, non-judgmental, and understanding. Throughout the process, I messaged him often and he'd answer right away or let me know he would get back to me as soon as he could. He never left me hanging nor waiting around. A day before my first court date Hendrick took my case and from that point forward took care of EVERYTHING. Fast forward to 2024 my husband was facing a felony charge that could carry a 3 year sentence, Hendrick was able to negotiate time served, home detention for 30 days and his immediate release. I had a telephone consultation scheduled at 5:30 a couple days ago. Waited for 20 minutes, no call. I called the number I originally called and the receptionist said she would send a message to the lawyers. So I waited some more. I still received no call that day. That was 2 days ago. I never heard back from them.

I love Victoria and her team! She helped me with my divorce 7 years ago and is now helping fix custody issues because we can no longer coparent. She is fair for both sides and honest. I hired Mike Ross as my lawyer two years ago for a case regarding a spurious robbery charge. Why review him now? Because after I went onto multiple sites including this one in order to warn people of my experiences I decided against it because he had been negatively reviewed into the ground. Indeed, even before I hired him, I printed out the reviews that greatly troubled me, and showed him and asked for his explanation.
Using the greatest skill he ever showed me, he deftly wound each story into the other. So many reasons from each client. Bitterness. Regret. Lack of financing. His inability to help them due to them either hamstringing him, or going against his advice, or just being guilty with overwhelming evidence against them.
I was glued to these stories, and impressed with his speaking style. Surely, I thought, if he defends me with even a modicum of the same skill, this is an easy win, right? Looking back, he divulged way too much information, and I wonder what he tells people of me now, even what rationalizations he uses to say why I am just like all the other clients he discredited.
I don't know what he's done or how, but this site now shows a five star average rating for him. It's both ridiculous and impressive. I'd laugh if he hadn't caused so much harm. Reputation is everything, and it is fitting that Mike Ross' reputation is the only thing he will work his magic to defend and protect.
I chose Mike Ross because I was impressed that a lawyer of his experience could be had for the price point. Careful what you wish for. Other lawyers had quoted me anywhere from 12-25k to go to trial, which I was deadset on, being falsely accused. He quoted me a paltry 10 grand. 5 up front, two payments splitting the rest after. What a deal! i quickly signed our agreement and paid him the first 5k and then an additional 2.5 very shortly after, eager to secure such a skilled man before any one else monopolized him. The only thing that tripped me at the time was his equal rush for me to sign, and a tiny portion of fine print saying the quote was for "pretrial services", which of course was not what we agreed. But he laughed it off, said they'd grabbed the wrong papers, and crossed it out, writing over it in what seemed like pen, that it was including trial services once full payment was received. Hindsight, right?
So how did it go?
We had film and witnesses proving my innocence. I truly felt there was nothing that could possibly go wrong. I felt strange that I only ever called him, never the reverse, but if it was such a slam dunk, so what?
Then he deposed me, but not really, it was the last time I ever saw him. He met me in a secluded spot out in old town Sac by the river and took notes on my version of events. He noted that I had not gathered the relevant film nor contacted the relevant witnesses, to my shock, which he said he'd guess he'd have to do then. He never did. Then for three months before the trial, ignored my calls with the exception of his secretary calling to inquire about the final 2.5k, which we'd already agreed he'd get once the trial date was set, which also should have alerted me.
On the date of the pretrial hearing, we went on Zoom, he came on late, and just destroyed any hope I had. He said he was there for pretrial only, and not my main council. Then once I, flabbergasted, asked to recess the hearing to talk to him on the phone, he denied. The ADA offered a bad deal never discussed, and Ross stopped it and said then and there that if I didn't accept it, he was gone, and I was on my own. I had no more money, and therefore no way to sue him, and worst, was blindsided at my greatest hour of need. He knew this. I made what deal I could without him and just plead out. No evidence, no witnesses, he had never done any work he promised. Just like that, he disappeared.
You will regret any relationship to this man. Maybe he erases this too. Please don't make my mistake!
