Thankfully I have not needed the services of Millar Legal personally, but I know two others that have. The theme always seems to be that Aaron is a highly skilled attorney, without question, but the difference for them was how personable and compassionate Aaron was during an (obviously) stressful and emotional time. I personally know Aaron through other professional channels and can attest to the fact that he genuinely cares for people, beyond just the courtroom. The other great reviews and testimonials all ring true. Easy call to make.

I began the divorce process in October of 2021. At the time, I had different counsel. Nearly a year into the saga, I was referred to Aaron through another family law attorney. Once I hired Aaron, I knew I had the right attorney.
My case was very high conflict. Aaron would ask my thoughts and ideas on the best way to navigate all the roadblocks that were thrown our way. Aaron was always calm. He was a voice of reason. He would ask questions to ensure he understood what I needed. Aaron did not always agree with me. When we didn’t agree, he explained his position and the most likely outcome. He was quick to return emails or phone calls. I could count on a response within 24-48 hours.
My case ultimately ended up at trial. I appreciated Aaron’s honesty and integrity throughout the entire process. He was very thoughtful with all of the motions and exhibits he presented to the Court, as he understood the Court does not have a lot of time to spend on each case. At trial, Aaron was able to take hundreds of pages of information and display them on a spreadsheet that was easy for everyone, including the judge, to understand. During the first day of trial, the Judge held up Aaron’s spreadsheet specific to alimony. It detailed previous martial expenses, current expenses and predicted expenses. The Judge shook it above his head while exclaiming that is how it should be done! While making his ruling, the Judge once again commented how helpful Aaron’s presentation was in determining alimony. Aaron was always in control: control of himself, control of the room, control of the issues, control of the evidence.
Aaron was able to get me full physical and legal custody of my 16 year old, he successfully negotiated that she determine parent time and secured more alimony than I ever wanted or expected.
Aaron and I made a great team. Normally I would approach Aaron with a solution to the latest problem. Aaron was always open to my ideas; he wasn’t threatened by my involvement. I had some ideas that were unconventional but checked off all of the boxes when it came to the law. Aaron was willing to advocate for me even though he didn’t know what the outcome would be. Aaron was very methodical. He was not ego driven. Aaron did what was best for his client, not what was the easiest or most popular. Whether he agreed with me or not, Aaron would always hear me out. My prior counsel dismissed me even when I had what ultimately became the winning strategy.
I will always recommend Millar Legal to anyone that finds themself needing legal representation, specifically in a high conflict divorce case.

Before every step he lays out all of what is going to happen and is sure to answer any questions you need. Very timely to respond to inquiries or reach out if new information arises. Looked over the minor details of my case to bring up and use to my advantage. Did calls before court appearances to explain what advantages and disadvantages l there were in the case and after to explain what everything meant and any court jargon I was confused with. Acquired a surprising and positive verdict for me while showing honor and determination.

I contacted Danielle after trying to navigate the divorce process on my own. My ex-wife and I were in agreement on most items through the divorce but I was still having trouble navigating the process through the state. Mr. Voss is by fair an amazing attorney. He takes the time to a actually hear your concerns without interrupting you, which is very uncommon in these kind of situations. He doesn’t take your money then tells you “ I can’t seem to help”. He is a legit human being and understands the difficulty of being a divorce parent. I would highly recommend Mr. Voss. I first contacted Jessica with J. Peterson Law in December 2016 to assist me with domestic violence case after dealing with the court appointed LDA that I wasn't having an success with. Jessica was very personable and friendly and wanted to get down to the nitty gritty of the details to understand and start working the case right away. Whenever I had any questions or concerns and needed to contact her she was always there and available to me and addressed everything right away. She kept in contact with me whenever she had any updates from the prosecuting attorneys office, and would give me friendly reminders about upcoming court dates. She would also make sure that I got all information, details, and evidence to her to assist with the case. Jessica always kept my best interests in the forefront during this case. She was easy to work with when it came down to making payment arrangements that would work for her, as well as me. I was going through a difficult time in my life which led me down the path to meeting Kieth. I had worked with previous attorneys and was very disappointed with the way I was treated and represented. Keith was a completely different experience. His office staff was very friendly I was always put through to him if I called and he was in the office, if not he always called back very promptly. I didn't feel like just another number and he actually took the time to get to know me.
He was absolutely amazing in court. His knowledge of the system and how best to approach things was incredible. When he cross examined the cop he spent at least 30 minutes and left no stone unturned. It was like watching an episode of Perry Mason. Because of how detailed and though-rough he was we ended up winning the case outright. We all make mistakes; some of us make illegal ones. being caught is horrifying. Your fate is left in someone else’s hands, and you have little control of what the consequences of your actions will be. It’s like having the lights turned off, it’s pitch black and you can’t find the light switch. Mr. Metos was my light switch. He was patient, non-judgmental, and the best in his field, which is exactly what you want when you find yourself in this type of situation. Fred was able to negotiate a minimal amount of time for my sentence; I received three months which could have been 15 years. Seven years after serving my sentence, Fred was able to have my record expunged. Life is good; I owe a great deal of my success and happiness after that dark period in my life to Fred.

I hired Mr. Ferbreche to handle my husbands criminal cases. I had spoken to a couple of other lawyers in my search for the right one for us and after the first consultation with Greg Ferbrache I knew he was the one. He was extremely knowledgeable in the law and after he had a couple of days with our case he knew the case well and started working to get us the very best outcome possible. I met Laja on a pro se hearing for temporary orders on my divorce case. She was the second attorney that I had pro se and immediately I could tell she was far different from the man that had represented me the first time around. I retained her ASAP after that second hearing and I haven't had a regret about it since. Laja, while representing me and willing to do as I asked, was an amazing voice of reason in helping me make decisions on how to proceed with my case and laying out possible outcomes, as well as giving her professional opinion based on her experiences from past cases. She has a vast knowledge of Utah family law and in the end, the case worked out in my favor which is abnormal for the state I live in. She dealt swiftly with my ex through the whole thing, who was constantly dragging her feet and making things difficult. Laja went far and beyond her description when arranging meets and phone calls, as my schedule is a bit hectic, and she is quick to answer any questions via phone call, text or email without pause. He seems like a good fit for my son‘s case when I called to set up an appointment to see about hiring him for a serious charge that my son has the lady was not trying to help me kept telling me that he already has an LDA and that it would be a lot of money to hire him for the seriousness of the crime as if I didn’t have money.
