Attorney Spindle is simply an awesome lawyer. He literally went to bat for me on the legal frontier at the Loundoun courthouse. What a day to remember! Knowing that I wouldn't have to see the inside of a jail cell was blessing enough but to go the extra mile and further negotiate with the tough police Officer to reduce pending court charges on me was for lack of a better word phenomenal. Attorney Spindle went from persuading both the Commonwealth attorney, Cop and Judge that a "not guilty" plea was in my best interest accepting all fault to winning the court case for me when the judge, the final authority decided an improper driving infraction was my charge. That was a slam dunk of a court conclusion given I had been charged with reckless driving and an accident. I don't advocate for what I did, in fact I apologized to the judge but to have the blessing of a Spindle will always go a long way. Definitely highly recommend Attorney Spindle's legal brilliance. Was blessed and plan to maintain! Thanks Attorney S for granting a husband and career man a sound opportunity to life.

Mr. Spindle represented me in a matter that was "unique" to say the least. His former life as a magistrate helped very much and enabled the issue to be resolved in a favorable outcome (the charge is being dismissed). Mr. Spindle helped me out tremendously. I had a very bad DUI, where the victim was pushing to go to trial and attempt to get me upwards of 30 days jail time. Mr. Spindle was able to get me only 5 days jail time, after a continuation, and with all facts pointing against me. One of the best and would highly recommend.

Elizabeth represented me for a misdemeanor traffic infraction. This was the first time I had ever required a lawyer, so I was a little lost on who to reach out to. I saw Elizabeth's great reviews and reached out for a free consultation. When I called, she already had my case pulled up with the corresponding state law. She walked through the process and was very forthright about the possible outcomes. I hired her to represent me and could not be happier. Elizabeth was an excellent attorney in representing my case in which I was dealing with a serious traffic infraction. She was very professional and knowledgeable from the get-go, helped me file a motion immediately, and was able to get my case moving in the right direction. I had fired my previous attorney for being unavailable and unresponsive and with Elizabeth I found her to be the complete opposite. She was quick to return emails, answered questions, easy to talk to, and explained the process very well. Laid out expectations very clearly - didn't overpromise and underdeliver (as some lawyers are apt to do). I've worked with a few attorneys in the past and Elizabeth has by far been the best. I highly recommend her. Went to court this morning to adjudicate my case, she talked to both the officer and the prosecutor, argued my case in front of the judge, and we got exactly what we wanted!

Unfortunately I had 2 incidents within a 6 month period that I needed a lawyer for but fortunately I had Ms. Corcoran! For the first incident, a felony hit and run she reduced it to a misdemeanor and I was able to keep my license in addition to just being such a calming energy in the midst of what felt like the worst storm ever. Recently, I received a misdemeanor marijuana charge and of course I called her and not only did she give me a break financially she took care of the case quickly and efficiently with the best possible outcome in my favor.

Ms. Debra Desmore Corcoran esq. was able to take time out of her very busy schedule to consult with me on a matter that I was continuously hitting dead ends on for numerous days & it was exhausting and disappointing. Suddenly, almost like an Angel was kind enough to visit me, I was told information that I was seeking & given a proper direction in which to head towards. Mrs. Boone was the only lawyer that listened to the details of my case and was willing to fight for child custody and argue a fault divorce. The other lawyers were more focused on how to divide financial assets. I needed a lawyer that felt I had a case and was willing to work for me, and not just do the easy stuff. Mrs. Boone did an amazing job proving inconsistencies in my ex's depositions, fighting for child custody, and sole use of the marital home during the PL hearing. The two opposing counsels that my ex hired were no match for Mrs. Boone. Although Mrs. Boone tried to avoid going to trial, she had no choice, and she was prepared for war. I was in awe of how well prepared she was in comparison to opposing counsel. I am so thankful to the lawyer that referred me to Mrs. Boone because she was too busy to take my case. This lawyer likes to represent good dads.

Mr. Vandenbrook provides highly professional services at reasonable rates. As I neared my 70s, I began having some trouble driving. As a result, I had to appear twice in traffic court. As parents of a juvenile who gets in trouble with the law, the road forward is often times confusing and terrifying. Aaron was recommended to us by family friends. Even though he was out of district and was not as well versed in the juvenile system, he took on our son’s case. Exactly as the title says. David was able to bring down a 103MPH in a 65 down to a $300 fine with a infraction only in the state of Virginia. I was nervous for jail time especially considering 103 is jail time; but nope. Thank you to David and his team!

I was convicted of assault and battery and I didn’t know which law firm to go with. I found Josue Casanova after I did a google search of criminal lawyers in my area. After speaking with him, I decided to hire him as my lawyer and it was the best decision I could have made. He met with me about 5 times in the span of two months for a significant amount of time and spent a lot of time on my case outside of our appointments. He was attentive, showed that he genuinely cared, and was very personable. He was able to settle outside of court on my behalf and get me what I wanted out of the case. He also didn’t try to get a ridiculous amount of money out of me like so many lawyers try to. Something really neat was that the head of the firm would occasionally join us during our appointments, which was awesome. I 100% recommend Josue Casanova. He is an amazing lawyer and person.

I was airlifted to UVA after an accident in which I have no memory of even entering the vehicle. I spent 3 weeks in the ICU & 2 days in a regular room. I only have some memory of the last two days.
The "trooper" at the scene of my accident did everything he could to find some crime with which to charge me, even after I had a boot clot in my lung almost causing my death in the ICU, & they suggested to me that this is what had happened to cause my accident.
Why would he do this, you may ask? Because, even though I am a gunsmith, Glock Armorer, & have taken many NRA & other Advanced Hangun Courses & instruct friends & family privately, I was carrying more than one gun! Though the second gun was unloaded & in my pocket & in the LEAST powerful pistol cartridge in the world, even though I had a permit and have held one for YEARS & harmed NO ONE, though my wounded Grandfather killed the Nazi that bayoneted him & I carried this ancient relic as a reminder & "good luck" charm, even though it is so old, unreliable, & underpowered as to be USELESS for self-defense, this man who calls himself a VA State Trooper was determined to "get me" with the ONLY thing he could come up with from which I could not defend myself -wreckless driving! You see, I have NO memory of the event whatsoever, have driven that stretch of road hundreds if not thousands of times safely, & I could think of nothing whatsoever to defend myself. I was guilty until proven innocent!
Having used Victor in the adoption of my daughter years before, having had him successfully handle a divorce case for a LE close friend of mine, I retained him again to represent me in this matter.
I went to court, Mr. Santos conferred with opposing council & the "state trooper," & then patted my shoulder & suggested we speak outside. Upon leaving the courtroom, he informed me that the case would not be heard for some time; but I did not need to stay, as it was going to be dismissed!
Soon after, I received a letter from Victor stating that the case had been dismissed; but it also warned that a stenographer had been present for some party that claimed I was responsible for their far less injury.
They did sue & the insurance company settled with them. It is much easier to find someone guilty by a preponderance of the evidence in a civil case than it is to find them guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a criminal case. My insurance company's attorney represented me in the civil case, & lied straight to my face about what was & was not going to be said. That said, Mr. Santos did an excellent job throughout what I retained him to do, as he does for everyone; I would hire him again in a second & will always recommend him to any innocent person I meet who is in need of the very BEST attorney!
The "state trooper" even SUGGESTED TO MY WIFE, as I was being loaded into a helicopter & on death's door, that I was running from something, tying to commit suicide, etc! He said this to my grief-stricken wife as I was leaving one hospital for another, thinking I would surely die! I had a broken neck, a broken back, broken. ribs, was crushed on my left side with a rib THROUGH my left lung, my right lung was collapsed, & I had a brain bleed. The "trooper" had thought me dead at the scene & even talked about calling his superior to report me so, as I was unresponsive! With probably more qualifications than HE had, veterans & former LE throughout my family & a circle of friends who are either milititary, ex-military, LE, former LE, or some combinations thereof, this man who calls himself a "Virgina State Trooper" set out to crucify me!
Remember, "Troopers are for your protection!" Well, not this one! He delivered my "ticket" to me, as I was barely able to stand, still in my bathrobe, & told me the same as he told my wife: "There was NO evidence you were exceeding the speed limit!" He then wrote the exact opposite in his report & LIED in his testimony at the deposition!

Beth Chavez is not your typical attorney who i just out to make money. She is one of the few that actually cares about not just her clients but the people she speaks with. I recently had a child support modification that the other party wanted to do discovery and waste a lot of time and money. I consulted with Beth who listened to me and at the end of the consultation gave me advise on how to push back on the opposing side to have this wrapped up without litigation or discovery. This consultation and advice saved me thousands of dollars that Beth could have obtained but instead she is a compassionate attorney who is in the business for the right reason! My brother was hit in the of his truck on duty. The defendant and the cop in charge of reporting the crime to the court have tried to intimidate and blame my brother to be at fault of the incident. High dollar doesn’t automatically equal high quality. Ted Butler listened and let me talk. However he didn’t really get me results. I asked to mark automatic alimony payments like the women shelter wisely suggested after seeing my ex’s “shenanigans”. Rightfully so. It was actually written in the divorce degree. However.. much to my shock marked out and initialized when everything was said and done. It lead to many years of more court sessions, gave my ex the opportunity to fall behind in $17000 in support payments.
I figured an high end attorney would be worth it in such an important life changing matter. Please compare attorneys before settling.

Ted Butler was the attorney my wife hired to represent her in a contentious child custody and divorce case, which has been fraught with conflict. Initially, I harbored reservations about Mr. Butler, given that part of my ex-wife's strategy involved attempts to have me arrested, file multiple protective orders against me, and accuse me of spousal and child abuse. While it seemed initially that Ted Butler was complicit in this strategy, it became apparent over time that he may not have been fully informed about the complete truth, plans, or actions of his client. Throughout the ongoing divorce proceedings, I have come to believe that Ted Butler is an honest individual who strives to do his best for his clients. I am convinced that without Ted Butler's representation, my ex-wife's outcomes in court would have been significantly worse.
As a former military combat veteran, my ex-wife consistently uses PTSD against me, despite my disability being rated at only 10 percent. It was a central component of her argument that I posed a danger to her and our children due to PTSD. While Ted Butler vigorously advocated for his client, he did not exploit my military service against me in court, despite my ex-wife's persistence in doing so.
Although my divorce case is still pending, and Ted Butler is likely to remain my ex-wife's attorney, I want to acknowledge him as an honest and honorable attorney who fights vigorously but fairly.

After scouring Google for a fair/reputable law firm that I trusted to handle my uncontested divorce I came across Virginia Family Law Center.

From the very first interaction in addition to speaking with Ms. Carroll during my initial free consultation I knew that I could rest assured and trust VA Family Law with my individual situation.
As a 1st time divorcée to say that my nerves and emotions were naturally heightened would be an understatement. Yet throughout it all VA Family Law held my hand every step of the way. They never complicated the matter further by adding any uncertainty or confusion to the mix.
The entire process was seamless from beginning to end. All of my questions and concerns were acknowledged, validated, and dealt with accordingly. All of my emails and/or phone calls were swiftly returned & answered I was never left hanging.
