James responded to a question I posted. I was able to reach him immediately from my first call. He spent a considerable amount of time consulting with me without hesitation. James was courteous, respectful, professional and extremely knowledgeable. He answered every question I asked directly with sincere detailed answers. After speaking with James, it was clear to me this was an attorney who truly cares about people. He worked promptly on what I needed, kept his word and demonstrated excellent communication. I reached out to 3 attorneys, James consulted with me and completed what I needed before even a return phone call from the other 2 attorneys. I know many others, including myself, who have had just mediocre or terrible experiences trying to reach and work with an attorney. James is genuine and willing to help no matter how small or large the need. He has integrity and does not overpromise and underdeliver. I did NOT hire James by default because he answered my call. He earned my trust and respect. I would not hesitate to hire James in the future and refer him to everyone I know or meet. Highly recommended!

Atty. James Frederick answered a question for me on Avvo and after several phone consultations, I hired him to assist with my father's small estate proceeding in Michigan. I don't live in Michigan, so my case needed special attention and constant contact at points. Over the course of 4 years (due to the nature of the case), Atty. Frederick was always available to me by phone, email, and also at one point readily agreed to travel 2 hours away to a hearing for the estate with minimal fuss. I was wary of handling the process remotely when my case started, but I can tell you that it was handled honestly, professionally, and for what I thought was a reasonable rate. If you are in the Livonia area (or anywhere in Michigan), and need any service that Atty. Frederick provides, you can not go wrong in at least speaking to him about it.

Glenn assisted me in setting up an estate plan that would protect my husband, who just had a stroke, in the event of my passing. He took time to explain the entire estate planning process as well as how the estate plan would work in different scenarios. His explanation was very easy for me to understand. JUDY COLEMAN, COLEMAN LAW CENTER, LIVONIA, MI IS A STAR. SHE WILL FIGHT LIKE HELL FOR YOU. Judy represented me in a corrupt Wayne County Probate guardianship of my elderly aunt. The state dragged my 96 year old aunt kicking and screaming from her home April 18, 2022 with the baseless claim that she was legally incapacitated. . They held her , against her will, in isolation at Wyandotte Hospital; and, they wanted to show she was legally incapacitated. The claims made by AS and Guardian Care were all lies and baseless. The judge released my aunt and sent her home. Judy is still fighting for me and my aunt as Guardian Care froze my aunt's bank account and they are in contempt of court as the judge ordered them to immediately release her bank account so her 8 prescriptions and oxygen can be paid for...thus far they have not released her account. In support of my 94 year old Mother-in-Law I needed the services of an Elder Law Attorney that could construct an asset protection trust structure compliant with the requirements of the Veterans Administration Aid and Attendance benefit. Selecting a professional in any area can be difficult. In my career I worked with several attorneys specializing in international technology licensing and supply agreements and recognized that in any discipline skill levels vary. To narrow the field in this selection process I met with a past President of the Michigan Elder Law Attorney Association for guidance and then two attorneys specializing in this area. I judged Mr. Byers to be the better candidate and through his work the VA Aid and Attendance Benefit was granted. He also provided the full spectrum of Estate Planning documents. The VA process was an "ordeal." Mr. Byers was persistent. He determined the basis for the initial unfavorable VA decision and worked the appeal process to gain the full benefit. He is the highly qualified specialist needed to develop the complex elder law structures that comply with the requirements of our legal systems.

One of the most important things I like about Mr. Kotarski is that he is a Christian. He is very patient and kind to his senior clients. My Father was stricken with a very aggresive form of lung cancer and it was clear to be able to provide for my mother's well being we needed a different financial strategy then the one planned by my parents and we needed it fast. I consulted with Rob and he provided my brothers and I not only with a very clear understanding of our options but a recomendation and action plan that when executed would take care of my Mothers long term care. Having said that we needed to act fast and within a few days Rob had all of the legal work complete and executed just a few days before my Father died.

Without any knowledge of Cronin I was led to this lawfirm from a a bit of Intel where I ended up on the phone with a firm more local, but the team there couldn't help me. That same firm suggested I called Cronin and though most of the phone calls between the team and I were loud because of my work, I was surprised that notes were taken well and I didn't have to repeat any information on further calls and conversations. Next to custody issues, is there a hotter topic than vaccines/medical between two parents that are divorced and do not see eye to eye on said topic?? What I really appreciated is that Samantha may not share my same concerns about vaccines, but she guided me objectively and accurately through my possible options and described how she could be of assistance to help us draft an agreement. My ex is a very difficult and duplicitous person to deal with. As a very loving and involved parent herself, I know family law has to be challenging. On the flip side of this, I know this makes Samantha a passionate (and tenacious) advocate for her clients. In the event that I need someone in my corner in a family court, I will definitely call Samantha!

My case was a change of domicile. I received a great career offer that I didn’t want to turn down but unfortunately my child’s father was not on board with my decision. So I called 7 different attorneys even attorneys that I used in the past. Every lawyer I spoke to asked for a retainer fee upfront without even hearing my case out. But not James we talked on the phone for one hour he never even mentioned a retainer fee I had to ask that question. I explained to him that with me moving out of state and affording a lawyer was very difficult. James came up with 3 payment options that I could choose from I was really shocked and grateful especially from my experience with the previous lawyer’s. Regarding my case James was available anytime I called he would get back with me within an hour time frame email or telephone during business hours. If he was busy his team accommodated me and helped with any questions I had. We won the case and I had a short time span because I had already accepted the job so I had one month to get everything done and I was really amazed at how fast James accomplished everything in a timely manner. I have used the services of Michael Bartnik for several business and family matters through the years. He has proven to be a knowledgeable attorney who makes himself available to answer my questions as they occur. He is well versed in business matters and recently worked with our new landlord to draw up a lease that benefited our company. He has assisted in closing out estates - specifically one which involved a charitable trust. Also, he has drawn up the required paperwork to help us form a 501C3 while assisting us in the format necessary to submit it properly. Michael Bartnik has helped with personal issues such as a will, and a fight with a medical insurance provider that needed to pay a claim - all with a successful conclusion. He consistently keeps me updated on the progress of all situations. I am certain, I am not recalling all instances, but the point is that he is a great general attorney. He is honest and definitely trustworthy.

We met with Mr. Pasquali because our mother was paying over $7,000 a month to the nursing home and we didn't know what our options were. He explained how Medicaid qualification works and qualified mom for Medicaid in the month we first met, avoiding the payment of thousands of dollars to the nursing home. I recommend that anyone who has a loved one in or on the way to the nursing home meet with Mr. Pasquali or another qualified Medicaid attorney to find out what planning is available.
