Irene helped us with the joint purchase of two adjoining co-op apartments in Brooklyn recently for us and our son. We chose her based on our internet search for real estate lawyers in the area, as all her reviews were uniformly excellent. And we wholeheartedly concur. Beyond just being super-efficient throughout in helping us navigate clunky big bank loan department bureaucracies and paperwork, she went out of her way to calmly help us with our own last minute fund transfer emergencies on the closing date itself to ensure a smooth process. Irene was incredible to work with! As first time home buyers there was a lot going on. Irene made it all as seamless as possible for us, and at a great value. Nobody asked me to write this review. I needed to consult with Counsel Irina Yadgarova and she was by far the most well-informed attorney whose generosity of spirit and transparency was notable. Unlike other attorneys, she volunteered beneficial knowledge given her integrity and honesty. She was the one professional I felt most comfortable with as clients may not know what questions to ask to solicit the hopefully intelligent and comprehensive answers. Further, she is never arrogant or condescending even though she embraces the intricacies of the law while knowing exactly how to convey and translate the theoretically complex into practical implementation. I reached out to Attorney Jordan's Office and left a Message. She soon returned my just to let me know that she wasn't able to help me with recovering a Judgment. But, what she did do was advised me of some resources that would allow me to get the help I needed. She spoke to me for close to 1 hour about my issue, and although I offered to pay her ...she instead told me what she would do and suggested that I follow up on my own. I have never experienced an Attorney turning down money...I was given direction, complete with numbers to resources that will assist in handling my needs..
She will be my attorney for my elderly legal needs. Attorney Jordan will be the first Attorney I will consider for all NYC real estate needs as well.

Michael Shilinski is a very helpful and knowledgeable person to help people make the tough decisions about what to do about making those hard choices that are involved with writing your will. As a young couple, we felt he was helpful and not pushy at all. We later sent older family members to him and they had equally wonderful experiences. Recently, when my father in law passed, he was so responsive via email getting us the forms we needed electronically within 15 minutes. Previously, I have had a very mixed experience dealing with lawyers, and not in a good way, until I lucked into Tom Bauer. This gentleman is like the unicorn of lawyers, besides being a very intelligent individual.
Returns emails promptly? Yes! Returns phone calls? Yes! Actually truly cares about his clients? Yes! Gives amazing advice? Yes! Has reasonable fees? Yes! Always has time for you? Yes!
Coming from someone quite a bit jaded dealing with lawyers, I can't think of enough superlatives for Mr. Bauer. The best thing I can say is from what you expect of a lawyer and typically the reality being much different, Mr. Bauer has not only met my expectations but exceeded them. He truly looks out for your best interest.
I felt a comfort level speaking to him as well, because he truly cares. If I could give more than five stars I would, and I rarely give five stars period.
