Mr. Malcolm just had to deal with a case of mine for over 5 years, where most attorneys would have just caved and would have settled for 10% of what I received. My other attorneys just floated my case to him, thinking it wasn't worth their time. Mr. Malcolm had patience and knew that I had been wronged, he fought for my case and eventually got me even more than I had ever expected. I would still trade what I had received to go back in time and delete that day, undo what happened. I was initially very concerned when our lawyer retired, wondering if anyone would be be a good fit for my Fiance & I. Andrea made us feel very comfortable right out of the gate! She was personable, professional, wicked smart, and had a great sense of humor. We immediately felt that we were in the right place.
I had just lost my mother and was faced with finalizing her accounts and home. I left the appointment feeling MUCH calmer and informed! She really helped bridge the gap between my crippling grief and the necessary steps to handle all the tedious details. I would highly recommend Joshua!!! We had to recently move my mother into an adult family care home and quickly realized the shock of the cost and everything that comes with it. We were referred to Joshua for elder care advice and decided within minutes that he was the best to assist us with the process. He is very down to earth and quick/easy to communicate with (he responded to emails while he was on a 2 week vacation) but also direct and to the point, which is what we needed during this process. The last 4 months have been quite a whirlwind of emotions, documents, trusting the process and it all happening so quickly but we were confident in Joshua.

We are contemplating a move back to Washington state where we lived for many years. Without proper estate planning we would potentially be subject to the Washington estate tax. n our initial contacts with the firm, we clearly identified that we were residents in another state. We were instructed to provide our detailed financial picture as well as our current estate planning documents which we provided promptly and told that our information would be forwarded to the attorneys for evaluation. The following is the email response.
“Thank you for filling out and returning your Questionnaire.
I will forward your information to our attorneys for review. Once they have completed their review, I will be back in touch with you regarding a quote for services and the next steps for scheduling.”
Well over a month went by with no word back from STIB. I finally contacted them by email requesting a status update. Within minutes, I received the following reply.
“Thank you very much for contacting our firm. Unfortunately, we are not able to take on your case. Our firm does not advise out-of-state residents on tax issues. Our focus is estate planning and long term care planning.”
The STIB website clearly tax issues as part of estate planning. I also found no restrictions on attorneys in Washington state providing consultation to out-of-state residents considering residency in Washington.
Needless to say, I was astounded by what I consider to extremely poor communication and timely follow-up. If it is indeed not their policy to advise out-of-state residents on tax issues, I would have expected to have been informed of that policy up front thus saving us the time of compiling and sending detailed and confidential financial and estate planning information. In my opinion, this represents incompetent and totally unprofessional behavior.

As someone who has no experience with wills or lawyers and doesn’t understand the process, this was a bad fit. It’s quite possible that if you know what to ask or what’s happening that they will be great for you, but for me I ended up with a $120 invoice for two emails I didn’t understand what to do with, going to look for someone else to help us setup out family will.

I can't possibly recommend Juliet highly enough! She is so incredibly knowledgeable and has a HIGH level of integrity and ethics, which was so important to me.
I went through a very difficult divorce which led to the need to communiticate only through lawyers. September 12th, 2022 police arrived at my door to tell me they were investigating sexual claims made against me, outlandish as they were I immediately panicked because as everyone knows, once these rise against you, you’re pretty much screwed. I immediately reached out to any attorney and was recommended Vindicate law, I spoke to the receptionist and explained the case and was assigned Carrie Fulton Brown. She accepted my case. The path to freedom was long and arduous. After the arraignment they told me I was facing 60 years in prison. Many continuations later, my anxiety and stress were at an all time high. Me and Carrie never really talked to each other about the case itself except a few times as my case was entirely hearsay, but because of the fact that it was from a minor the case was stacked against me 10 fold. Communication with Carrie was very rough, as most people sitting in the hot seat just want a shred or a glimmer of positivity but Carrie did NOT deliver on that front in the slightest. But that was okay, because she was dedicated to working against the state in a screwed up system. Most of the beginning of my case I knew most people and even Carrie didn’t believe me when I say I didn’t do it. Later on I passed 3 polygraph tests trying to prove I didn’t do it, and only after the 3rd one when I passed it with the actual prosecutor / State did Carrie tell me she strongly believes I didn’t do it. She gave me the best options to follow forward and going to trial with a minors words against mine was bleak, Carrie fought for the best outcome, I served 0 days in jail, no fees or Fines, Didn’t have to sign a sexual registry, all 4 counts were dropped to a Class C Abuse of a child. And 1 year of DOC Probation in which I spent 3 weeks on before the DOC discharged me from probation saying my crime didn’t fit criteria of having probation as I was a zero risk person and this was the only thing I’ve ever gotten on my record.
All said and done, I’m glad Carrie pulled through for me and allowed me to stay out of prison and remain with my family and to continue working she’s a tough person to understand and rough around the edges when talking to her but she’s nothing but business which is what you want in an attorney. Thanks Carrie for giving me my life back! 60 years was a long time to be away.

I am absolutely appalled by the complete lack of professionalism and utter disregard for my situation shown by Carrie Fulton Brown from this Law Group. I entrusted her with my case, believing her promises of dedicated representation, and instead, I received nothing but empty words and an empty bank account. She happily accepted my retainer, and then proceeded to do absolutely nothing. During the 6 months period she was my attorney, before her withdrawal, phone calls went unanswered, meetings/appointments were canceled for no apparent reasons. No investigations were done on my case, she did not interview no witnesses, and the so called ”victim“. Furthermore, Carrie had the audacity to tell me I was borderline harassing her by calling her and her incompetent paralegal Lisa too much. She literally took my money and vanished into thin air. Carrie Fulton Brown is a trash of attorney. I suffered significantly due to her inaction, and I was left feeling completely abandoned and betrayed. I would strongly advise anyone considering hiring her to look elsewhere. Save your money, save your time, and save yourself the immense frustration and disappointment. She is a disgrace to the legal profession.

Wow! What a team! Steven and Christy helped me with an unusual and emotionally wrenching situation after the death of my brother. I was going to go online and develop my own documents. Not a good idea. I did some research and found the BPK team in Aberdeen, WA. With Covid the team bent over backwards to make it easy for me to connect and communicate with them. We had an online meeting and then they drew up the draft documents for my review and sent them to me. Next were revisions and then an in person meeting for the signing! I had POA, Living Will and a Last Will and Testament drawn up. Prices are fair and they are flexible on payment arrangements. Sensitive, friendly, and with a good sense of humor. As a senior citizen I heartily recommend them for your estate planning needs!

I cannot say enough good things about working with Kathy Pauktert. She represented me in a State Farm car accident case, that went on for 6 years and was quite stressful. We met Chris Babich in December of 2007, she was new at Dimitrov & Senescu. My wife & I had no trust in attorneys, or most anyone at the time we met, & for good reason. The firm took our case, & pretty much made a team effort, but the case kept getting uglier & uglier, & we ran out of liquid capital. The principals stepped back, & Chris stepped up. We fought, for what's right, & it got uglier. Chris never abandoned us. She committed, & she followed through, because it was right, She saved our immeadiate family, she saved us. In 2019 I had a very tough immigration case and I hired another law firm and it didn’t go well, I spend more than 3k and finally my case got denied due to the lawyer’s irresponsible action. A few months later a friends of mine suggested to contact Amsale’s law firm. She was very kind, positive , thoughtful and a good listener. She listened the entire issue with the previous law firm, and what surprised me was her focus to resolve the problem instead of nailing down.

We hired Elder law for Probate and at first they worked very good then our attorney left and we got a new one. He redid all the work the first one did and charged us more money to do it. The first lawyer said we had enough money to go to court and take care of the matter. Now that we got a new lawyerhe wants more money and hasn’t even set a court date. Look at their Yelp reviews and don’t hire.

We consulted with Lynn St. Louis and staff a few years ago to draw up estate plans for us. She and her entire crew, most especially Elizabeth Wallace, were excellent! We just made another appointment with them to discuss some further questions, and we wouldn't go anywhere else. We had gone to a couple of law offices previously, but were disappointed. Lynn and staff knew exactly how to deal with questions about protecting assets, Medicaid, wills, etc.

We went to Lynn St. Louis to get my parent's will set up and Lynn and her associates were amazing and so helpful! They made sure that we understood everything, and didn't overwhelm us with legal jargon. They worked with us to make sure that everything was in place for when we needed it.
When my mother passed away, we called them to find out what the next step was. Before they even started they expressed their condolences and sent us a card! When we sat down with them to get my mother's estate squared away, they walked us through the process step by step. If we forgot what was going on, they were always happy to go over it again! They made sure to keep us posted when we needed to sign something, or what information we needed to bring them.
Their rates are very reasonable and they are worth every penny! I am so glad that we found Lynn St. Louis! I cannot say enough good things! If you want experience, and also want to be treated as a person, and not a billing number, this is the place to go!
