I must say that The Taylor Firm is… to say the best and efficient in the judicial process of Baltimore City is an absolute understatement!!!! I was arrested held without bail. I’d hired the firm and within less than a month’s time, I was released without any bail review or court proceedings. As GOD as my witness… out of nowhere I was told to pack up!!!! Not to mention throughout the duration of this incarceration, the team was amazingly informative and empathetic. This firm is a firm that will go far and beyond to get the job done! They WILL work together to work for you. If you’d ask me to describe the Firm… I’d say I’d bet my bottom dollar on The Taylor Firm vs The Cochran Firm any day.

Mr. Reichert initiated and processed a warranty deed for me. Stephen guided me through the process and the deed was updated in a seamless and timely manner. He provided me with a copy of the finalized deed and warned me about the potential of scams where copies of the deed could be acquired for a fee.

Cares about clients and wants to get you a positive outcome without bankrupting you. I have learned that you can pretty much divide divorce attorneys into 2 categories: one group that simply wants to churn information back and forth between attorneys as well as between attorney and client in way that simply bills hours and accomplishes little until the 11th hour when it could have been settled in the first or second hour. And then there is a group, like Karen, that truly wants to problem solve, propose solutions, avoid litigation and get an outcome for her client that is both fair and reasonable in cost. Karen is honest, dedicated and she told me what I needed to hear rather than what I wanted to hear. I cannot recommend her highly enough. I was fortunate to have someone recommend her to me and, every time I mentioned her to someone in the legal community in Maryland (4x), the response from each attorney was overwhelmingly positive. If you are looking for someone who will be in your corner, fight for you, shoot straight with you(the good and the bad), look no further than Karen Amos.

After being charged for 2 counts in VA, the plaintiff brought the same charges in the state of MD. This is when I hired Ms Riggins. She took my case, help me overcame my frustration and then represented me in this matter. There were three counts against me in MD. There was also a bench warrant issued for me in the state of MD. After hiring LIsa- Marie, I did not have to worry and deal with the prosecution and the state of MD. She consolidated all 3 cases in one and then on December 1, 2015 we appeared in court and all the criminal proceedings were dismissed. Thanks to her knowledge of law and professionalism, I did not have to worry for a second that I would be found guilty of a crime. She kept constant communication with me explaining how she handled my case and the communication with the prosecution. I was left with no doubt that she was working hard and build a wall between me and the prosecution. The result was that the 3 counts were dismissed and I was found not guilty of a crime. LIsa Marie is a former prosecutor. She knows the law of MD and VA very well. She is aware of how the prosecution works in both states and can apply this knowledge and find any legal door to prove her client's innocence. I would like to thank her for her hard work and legal expertise that helped me stay out of criminal convictions. I would also like to thank her for providing me with moral support to overcome the nightmare I went through. She believed in my innocence when taking my case and several months later the court in Maryland ruled accordingly.

After facing a serious civil suit which threatened my career, financial, and family livelihood, I retained the services of Lisa Marie Riggins. Seth is enthusiastic, proactive and understanding – the traits you need in your lawyer. His welcoming demeanor and ability to translate complex legal terms into plain speech is reassuring while he navigates the legalities of your situation. Knowing that most of his clients do not have a law background, Seth lays out all the available options and patiently discusses the costs/benefits of each. In my case, Seth reviewed an employment contract and explained the constraints it imposed. He identified the parts that were unenforceable and walked though how those could be challenged. Additionally, he described the potential consequences of each course of action, so I could make an informed decision. Mr. Rosenthal is truly a pursuer of the truth. He worked tirelessly on our case for over 3 years. Back and forth between him and the courts with all the documentation, he never missed a date or deadline. He always kept us updated to what was going on with the case. As well he was upfront and honest with us in that he would do his best and he felt we had a strong case. The district court ruled against us and we appealed to circuit court, which reversed, and got an excellent outcome after it was sent back to district court for trial. In my opinion it was his persistence and knowledge that brought about results.

We asked Shulman Rogers to set up an LLC for us. We got a pre-estimate, it was reasonable at $2000, so we paid the $2k retainer and contracted with them to do the work. During a meeting, we asked a question about placing a piece of property we owned in Washington, DC as a Sole Proprietorship into the LLC. Our Shulman attorney team researched it, then told us "Don't do it, it will cost you so much more money at approximately $7,500." We took their advice and left the property out of the LLC. Imagine our surprise when we received the final bill from Shulman and it was several thousand dollars more than the "it will cost you so much more path" we didn't take! It totaled almost $10,000. Shulman had even added several hours for a Senior Partner at an outrageous rate ($724/hour), who had not worked on our case. We were able to get those hours removed, but all in all it was a losing venture for us. This reminded us of the old adage "a wolf in sheep's clothing." We will NEVER DO BUSINESS with this firm again and we recommend you go elsewhere when you need an attorney.
