My father was rear-ended while completely stopped at a light; clearly, the other driver wasn’t paying attention at all and hit my dad’s car. We tried just going through insurance initially but it seemed like we couldn’t get their time of day. After a friend of the family told us about Tony and his firm, we called and they actually took good care of us. I was in an accident and didn't think that Sgro & Roger did personal injury cases; I went to their website and found that they recently began taking on PI cases so I decided to give the office a call. I was impressed with how nicely I was treated by the attorneys, specifically Mr. Sgro and Meredith Weiner.
They made me feel like my case was just as important as the rest of the cases they must've been working on. Plus I got reimbursed for the cost of my medical treatment and damage to my vehicle. I'd recommend this office to anybody in the city.

Several years ago I worked with Tony Sgro on a small criminal matter. He and his associates were always on top of my case and never let anything slip. It was very easy to get ahold of the firm and definitely worth the money to get a private attorney and not an appointed attorney. Considering going back to his firm to get my records sealed. Verizon called me for four years about someone else's unpaid bill. Although I kept telling Verizon they had the wrong number, both by phone and using Verizon's own online contact system, the calls kept coming. Verizon insisted they did not make calls like that and that the calls were not originating from them. When the calls increased (numerous calls in one day), I turned to Kim. She explained the federal statutes that cover this and I called Verizon again, mentioning key words. I was transferred to someone who found my number was incorrectly listed as an alternate contact number and the calls stopped! However, that was the last piece of the puzzle we needed and Kim went after Verizon and negotiated a very nice settlement. THANK YOU, KIM! No more calls AND a nice payoff.

Before I relate the excellent legal representation in a Civil/DV matter I was provided by Mr. Ellis, I think it is important that I first say that aside from the legal issues, I have not met an attorney who so genuinely listened and understood my predicament. As if it was he himself who was facing the legal challenges I presented to him, with all the emergency and dire consequences at his door.
The otherside had an attorney. I thought I could represent myself, my case facts and rights were clear cut, then I found myself in front of a judge who clearly allowed WIDE discretion to the oppossing counsel, I was about to get steam rolled not by the facts but by legal precedures. I was granted a 2 day continuance by the judge, barely. Mr. Ellis despite having been hired with only 2 days time to prepare for my case, successfully represented me in court and rescued me from my lack of knowledge about how the system and the the courts can be not the easyest of places to navigate by oneself. Most people instinctively know when an attorney is personally invested in their client, I knew that within the first 10 minutes of meeting Mr. Ellis. I was recommended by a friend of mine to Ryan earlier this year. I set up a consultation, discussed my business issues with him, and got a quote. He was very friendly, expressed his knowledge about my issues, and really knew what he was talking about. The meeting was great and i didnt feel pressured at all, like some of the other attorneys I visited with. Aer meeting with him, I did some research, called around, and found that he was a reputable attorney and respected by his colleagues.
I decided to hire Mr. Ellis. He walked. Me through the retainer agreement, took all of the documents I had with me and made copies, and asked me a few other questions regarding issues he brought up (that I didn't even I know I needed to talk about). He told me he would begin immediately and I left the office with a smile on my face.
I received an email from Mr. Ellis the next day with a copy of a letter he sent to the people who owed me money. Later that week, I got a call from Mr. Ellis to notify me that my case was settled and and I could either pick up the money I was owed or he could mail a check to me.
I have been trying to collect this money owed to me for so long, and it took Ryan around a week. He was always very professional and courteous to me, carried out all of his promises.
If any of you out there are looking for an attorney, I highly recommend Mr. Ryan Ellis. He is very knowledgeable, and if I ever need another attorney, I will absolutely be hiring Mr. Ellis again.

I worked with a previous lawyer a few years ago that was horrible! I was referred to Christian Legal Society and found Mark . I actually talked to him last and on the day I was ready to make my move on getting custody of my daughter. After our consultation I knew he was our man. He is very knowledgeable about family law. He walked me through all the steps we would be taking and was honest about our chances. He was so easily accessible throughout the whole process. I would call or email him and he would get back to me promptly if I didn't reach him. I live in Texas and when we went to court I was granted custody of my daughter on the first day! I flew to Las Vegas immediately and was greeted with Mark at the airport to ensure the exchange went smoothly and to meet face to face for the first time. We talked for a while like we had known each other for years. He also helped me get my daughter enrolled in school following our return to Texas. I would recommend talking with Mark before making any decisions on attorneys, he is a great guy. I will continue to use Mark for in the future if we ever go back to court. He is a stand up, honest family man in my opinion. And most importantly he is a faith based God fearing man, which I respect most of all! Steve was in house counsel at a firm where I was appointed CFO to help lead a turnaround. To call it a mess is being very kind. There were backdoor deals, cash transactions and mis-representations galore. Somehow, Steve managed to keep us on the right path, help define the appropriate positions for the Company, soothe investor tensions and most importantly help us get it across the finish line.

It can be a real pain to find an attorney, especially when you're trying to deal with a time sensitive crisis. I called about half a dozen lawyers before contacting Matt Pruitt. I'm very glad I got through to him.
If you've tried to hire a lawyer, you know most don't really listen while you speak. They are processing what you're saying through some sort of filter to see if you're worth their time. It's understandable, their time is valuable. But it can also be frustrating as a potential client.
Matt Pruitt didn't have this issue. He listened for the 4 - 5 minutes it took to explain the situation, and the asked some insightful questions. And when he noted to deadline I was working under, rearranged his schedule to make sure he could help me out.
I can't get into details on the matter, but I will say having him on my side of the table was more helpful than I anticipated. Not only did he protect our side, but he asked the kinda of questions to the other side that made them visibly uncomfortable. And that in the end is what settled the matter.
This whole thing was over in one meeting. The other side did a complete 180 and agreed to every term I was asking. And I know a large part of that was due to Matt's presence, insight and demeanor. He made it clear he means business, and it was felt.
So, if you're looking for someone who is competent, insightful, down to earth and can be intimidating, you should give him a call. I'll absolutely use him again if I need an attorney.
