We worked with him years ago when we went through several rounds of funding for a biotech start-up. He was on top of it, much more responsive than the partner and we all thought he did a great job in closing the round for us (dealing with ten separate investor groups). My original situation (landlord/tenant - typical, here in NYC...unfortunately) was resolved 'painlessly' - and by that I mean painless for me.
My next - and current - situation is a whole different area, and, I need him as private counsel in a multi-party suit.

I had an urgent legal matter that needed immediate attention. I was terminated by my employer and I thought I had a case. I was either ignored or turned away because of "conflicts of interest." Russell came by way of a referral from a Labor Rights website and I am so grateful. He really looked into my case and listened to me. When Russ believes in something, he's passionate about it. I don't know anything about law and he made sure to explain each phase and had multiple courses of actions so I always knew all my options and was fully involved in each decision.
