After a death, the last thing you want to do is worry about someone liquidating your fathers assets. This is what my sisters and I had to face a week after burying our dad. Due to him not having a will things where really complicated and his wife tried to take advantage of the situation. A family friend referred us to Bill and he has been a breath of fresh air throughout this entire process. Her attorney has been procrastinating the entire time and Bill has been on him like white on rice! Bill is very much to the point- no BS so if you want to be coddled then this one isn't for you. But, if you want the facts and someone that is going to give it to you straight while fighting for what's right then Bill is your guy. I highly recommend his team to anyone going through probate or a family settlement agreement. He's expensive but well worth the money I promise!

There are few things as personal as a family dispute. There are even fewer people with integrity that will ethically represent you during an extremely difficult time. I was in a car wreck with my coworker, his wife and another friend. We all got hurt, my foot badly and had to have it repaired. My health insurance from work didn't want to cover my bills from a car crash. I needed help and Loncar &a Associates got me the help needed. I was in a car wreck with my wife a friend and a co-worker. We all got hurt. I tore my knee up and had surgerys. My insurance from work did not want to cover my injuries or bills from the wreck. I split up with my husband and had no income coming in. I applied for foodstamps and was working odd jobs. I reconciled with my husband a year later and got off aid. I never received a letter that the food stamp office wanted money back. 2 years later I was pulled over for a routine traffic stop and thrown in jail for days. i was terrified. Never having been in trouble I called a friend who had had similar problems on a warrant they knew nothing about. Joe Flores was on the job in one hour. We had bail and after 3 weeks of hard negotiations resolved the matter before trial. Restitution was made and I do not have a felony on my record which is what I was facing with prison time. If you need a lawyer who knows what is doing and that has a great reputation and is a powerful force on your side you need to call Joe. He will pick up the phone and text you back day or night. He has a legal staff led by Ms. Palacios who are superb and very caring. I hear so many bad things about lawyers on TV and the radio and in newspapers, but Joe Flores is not only an awesome lawyer, but he also is very very caring. I would recommend no one else in Corpus Christi. He is the best of the best. God bless he and his family always.

I was in the wrong place at the wrong time due to a friend's bad choice. We were taken in but my side of the story was not being heard. Joe took this case on and was in constant contact with my family to let them know that I was ok and keep them calm. He took the time to hear my side and assured me that I had a case to prove my innocence in this matter. I was laid off from my last employer in 2009. When I received a letter from the TWC that said that my employer was contesting the claim I submitted, I felt I had been hit very hard in the chest. I was given Griffin's name from a relative and from the first phone call I made to him I felt I had someone who understood me and made me feel that I was in the right. I cannot tell you how relieved I felt having him on my side. Through 3 rounds of contesting my claims, I was finally awarded my unemployment claim. Without Griffin's support, I don't think my outcome would have been successful. I truly believe he is a hero.

I had a business that I needed some help with copy right infringement. I contacted Mr. Vance and we set up a meeting. When I met with Mr. Vance he was very cordial. He listened to what I had to say and what information I could provide. He then made suggestions as to what avenue to take to remedy the situation and provided approximately what it would cost. At no time did I feel that Mr. Vance allowed my situation to be put aside and not addressed. The situation was resolved and the cost was more that fair. I highly recommend Mr.Vance and if necessary will use him again in the future.

My daughter was falsely accused of a theft crime at Walmart where she was employed. She had only been there a couple of weeks. A professional scam artist came thru her line and ended up stealing a large sum of money during her scheme. I went to an attorney I had known since I was 19 years old. He had his “associate” work on the case. For over a year, all we ever got was “make a plea.” I personally researched the case, found the woman who scammed my daughter, and discovered she (the scammer) had done the same thing previously and after the accusation against my 19 year old daughter. I made a notebook complete with her alias names, her other cases and charges all over the country for doing the same thing she did to my child. I tried to get “associate” to look at the notebook but he was mad because my daughter refused to plead guilty to something she had not done. Associate was sent on his way by a very smart judge, a new attorney was appointed to handle the matter and a new chance for someone to hear the truth of my daughter’s case. When it was turned over to this attorney, not one minute did I worry. That is all I had done since her arrest.
Today I received a text message from attorney BRUCE KAYE. The case against my daughter had been dismissed. He took the information to the prosecutor and she saw what we all already knew. My daughter was innocent.
BRUCE KAYE is one of the best lawyers I have ever dealt with. He listened, he investigated and he sought the TRUTH! My kid wasn’t a number to him, or just a case, she was an innocent 19 year old criminal justice student who planned on being a police officer and he did what had to be done to prove her innocence. I love this guy. Against a lot of obstacles he was able to win our case in a all day trial. We were up against the attorney generals office and my ex- wife's private attorney in a Dallas Family Court with the odds stacked firmly against us. His research and professional demeanor over came those odds and we won the trial and a request for retrial was denied. The case is now with the 256 th court of appeals and I have the utmost confidence in Mr. Brooks to get us through this as well. Mr. Brooks took our case when no one else would and was able to convince the judge to rule in our favor. I have and would highly recommend Mr. Brooks for any legal needs.'

Maintaining offices in California, as well as Texas, seems to be done seamlessly and all in stride. I contacted Sandra shortly after my father passed away in 2012 and wanted to make sure that: 1) My father's name is removed from their home title, and 2) to make sure my mother's will is up-to-date and we had all the necessary powers-of-attorney/living will/et al in place. We had these done several years ago in Georgia, but wanted to make them current for Texas.
Sandra was very responsive and helpful with advice on what the next steps were for both issues. She made it very clear, simple, and straightforward for us and her fees were very reasonable in comparison to others we had contacted.
I will using her for my own will and estate plan. She doesn't try to impress you with legal mumbo-jumbo to make it look as though she knows what she's doing...she takes the time to take you thru the steps and is happy to explain any questions that come to mind during the meeting.

In seeking help, Max's staff was very professional in providing me responsive help from Max himself. When I spoke with Max on the phone for the first time, Max was already familiar and knowledgable about how to help me. Max even went out of his way to meet me in person to provide me that free consultation and Max was spot on about my situation. During that consultation, he gave the pros and cons of the situation and advised me of all possible options available to me. I was willing to hire him on the spot but he recommended that I evaluate my other options before I hire him.
Max Harger is definitely one of those attorneys who is passionate about what he does as demonstrated by his knowledge. I highly recommend Pete Reid. My son had a signed contract for a condominium and the seller reneged on the contract. Pete was referred to me by another attorney in Austin. Since then I have retained him on two occasions (both related to business litigation). Both times Pete helped me accomplish my goal with a minimum of frustration and stress. I highly recommend him.
I have been impressed by a few things about Pete:
He's very good at what he does. He's great at writing statements and filings, of course, but he's also great at understanding a case and seeing it from different perspectives. Both times I worked with him he pointed out things I hadn't considered.
He's also very friendly and engaging. For example, your phone calls with him are never stressful. Part of that is his great sense of humor. In fact, one of his responses to opposing counsel holds a permanent place in my personal hall of fame of "witty comebacks."
Another thing that really stands out about Pete is his candor. I've worked with a fair number of attorneys in the past. They generally refuse to give helpful answers to questions like "Can I do X?" or "What are the odds of Y?". Pete will give you a straight answer, like "The odds are probably 75%". That's tremendously valuable when you're trying to weigh your options and make the best choice.
