I've hired ben four times and have never been disappointed. He handled the creation of my living estate. He handled the creation of a contract for one-off workers. He handled a dicey HR work situation. He explained the methods and processes in making a tricky software business with a partner. In all cases he was prompt clear, polite, and effective with my time. For the living estate he gave me a book he wrote so i could ingest a lot of information before we spoke. Now that is being economical for everyone.

My late wife engaged Natasha to handle creating her will and estate planning relating to her impending death. I am writing as the person who actually had to use the output of her skills. Everything I needed was in the packet we had from Natasha. Estate closed successfully. Her will contained contingencies in case something happened to me as well so our kids were always going to be covered. I went through an extremely contentious divorce with Rene by my side and thank goodness. I could trust him always to be honest, ethical and to go after our priorities. He is a kind and empathetic human being and also never wavers in his professionalism. My case involved domestic violence which meant added complications and also meant I was even more all over the place emotionally. Rene was always, always a calm, steadying force bringing me back to center, back to integrity and refocusing me on our priorities. Which made it possible for me to advocate as well as I could for myself and my son - if I had not been able to do that it would have been a big regret for me. I imagine that is an accomplishment in most divorces. But when your ex drags you back into court over and over for years it is a major feat - he has the patience of Job. I should also mention we won almost every point, and ultimately accomplished all of our priorities. Not through snarky fighting or misleading arguments or playing on technicalities (which are a horror to experience in court). In court or mediation, Rene is not theatrical or super aggressive, he is confident, reasonable and matter of fact - from what I have witnessed this is very much appreciated by the legal professionals involved. I probably did not have the presence of mind to acknowledge it at the time - but now I feel as good about how we won as I do about winning.
The other thing people always want to know about is cost. It was not cheap, of course, it took a long time and my ex is really good at creating situations I need Rene to handle for me. But Rene has always been more than fair in his charges, accounting for every penny, and never ‘rounding up’ when he could have easily justified it. He is just as ethical in his billing as he is in his practice of law.
Clearly, I recommend him highly. I am trying to remember what I wanted to know before I started this journey. I went to Rene because my cousin (also an attorney) had seen him practice years before and was so impressed she never forgot his name. When I sat down with him he did not say everything was going to go exactly as I wanted nor did he seem resigned to it happening. I don’t like it when people ‘sell’ me by painting a best case scenario only - and there was none of that. He listened very closely and cut straight to the issues that mattered to me and presented options - which is pretty much the definition of a competent attorney. And I remember looking around his office and seeing multiple awards for ethical practice; which in conjunction with my cousin’s recommendation tells me he is well respected in the legal community. Nothing I have experienced in the intervening years has altered that first impression; it has only grown better.

Ms. Eslinger helped me with my estate planning documents a few years ago, including a will and power of attorney documents. During our first meeting, she explained about the probate process, we discussed about the appointment of guardians, executors, and trustees for testamentary trusts. She explained that it was not necessary for me to have a living trust even though she could have collected higher fees for a living trust. She was thorough and professional. She recently also updated my documents for me. I highly recommend her service.

This is the second time I tried an uncontested divorce and it went much much better. The first time was through an online "fill in the blank" site that was useless. This firm provides great directions along the way to try to prevent it from becoming contested. I had to give in a little which is fine so I could get it over with. If it did I had options to try to settle it. Bo is honest about the process and all fees, and tells you exactly what to do. There are NO surprise charges or fees. All in all I'd use this firm again, as he did his job admirably.

Mr. Weintraub was my lawyer for a modification of child-support gate. I think he did a really good job of figuring out my former spouses actual income versus what was reported and even corrected Washington State’s calculations. He looked at his finances and tax returns and I think his tax background helped a lot which is one reason I hired him. Other lawyers I consulted didn’t point them out. He has a very helpful staff and was less cost than many others quoted, so I’m very happy with his overall work.

Dennis Brislawn is an exceptional lawyer. He is very professional and he helped me with a difficult problem I was having with a suppressor I bought while I was living in Washington state. I purchased the Bronze level trust of the GUNDOCX Trust system (which Mr. Brislawn created ) in November of 2012 and was approved by the BATFE and received my stamp in May 2013. My husband took a job transfer to Texas and we moved before I could get my suppressor so I applied for a form 20 to transport the suppressor. Things became more difficult for me when the dealer I bought the item from lost their FFL. For several months I tried to get the matter taken care of and it became more difficult since the dealer could not help me . I could do nothing on my own. Then I contacted Dennis around April of this year to see if he could help. He made phone calls and advised me on how he could handle things. He also updated my trust from the Bronze level to a Silver level since I now reside in Texas. I flew to Washington state this June and I was finally able to get my suppressor. Without Dennis Brislawn, I wouldn't have been able to fulfill a childhood dream of owning a suppressor. I put the wheels in motion back in February of 2013 when I created a trust and applied for the stamp. About 10 months later, the ATF finally approved it and I raced down to my local dealership to pick it up.
