I can’t say Thank You enough to this law firm and Eric Winnert! We live approximately 5 hours from the office and Eric came to our home to get the much needed paperwork signed by my very ill spouse for a mesothelioma law suit. Poor man had to drive through the snow belt in February just to make sure we got what was needed before anything happened. Whenever I have questions and need to contact him, he is always there to give me answers. He has walked me step by step through every part of the process as my spouse was terminal and passed. Even when I haven’t bothered him in awhile, he will shoot me a text with any needed updates on our case! He’s very caring, empathetic , and personable with his clients and their family! No matter what we threw at him he always had a smile and a chuckle while maintaining his professionalism! I became a client of Hurwitz Whitcher & Malloy in November of 2020 due to injuries I sustained transporting equipment to Work from Home during the pandemic on April 7, 2020. I already have a disability, born missing my left limb & no joint in my right thumb. After trying to fight compensation on my own, they consistently denied every procedure that was being requested to get me back to work, my doctor’s office suggested that I get a lawyer.
I was referred Hurwitz Whitcher & Malloy by a friend. My first contact was Patricia Hagerty, my anxiety was so high that I couldn’t even complete a sentence. I felt crazy, scared & embarrassed. She took my information & said someone would get back to me. She also, assured me that everything would be ok, try to relax & not think about his.
Karen Small handled my case & she kept me up to date on the process step by step. If there was something I did not understand, she would explain until I did. After hard work & dedication, delays, setbacks, we won July 2024.
I had trouble getting my medications, so I spoke with Sam Firestein concerning this matter. Within an hour, the issues were resolved & he followed the next week up to make sure I received the medication as scheduled & that everything was ok.

For some reason I couldn’t reply on the review I wrote but I only asked for a price estimated range because I wanted to be prepared which is a common question anywhere you go not everyone is going to know how things like this work or if it’s worth something so you ask questions to make sure to be prepared. The lady continuously kept cutting me off as I spoke that’s rude no need to leave your number because I’m not calling back to this place another firm actually reached out and I was treated with respect and they answered my question with no problems about the price estimate and was very respectful and herd me out on my concerns. Take notes mabey you’ll learn how to be respectful to ones that come for help to your firm.

Months into working with Denis, I received an official court document in the mail that stated if I did not complete a court requirement (a simply online course) in SIX days, my case would be CLOSED. I was able to complete this requirement any time after 10/11, and it needed to be completed and submitted by 12/11. Denis did not notify me of this requirement one single time, and I even had a video meeting and exchanged emails with him on 10/11! The only reason I was able to complete the requirement online is because of the notice the court sent- NOT because Denis instructed me to. He was made aware of this, and has still not even acknowledged this or apologized. On top of almost costing me my entire case, I don’t know that the man answered a single one of my questions, would go missing for weeks at a time (the longest I did not hear back from him was 6 weeks), did not hand in MANY necessary documents to the courts on time, and still has not returned my voicemail from September, that I even reminded him about via email.

I've been dealing with Nancy Saia for about ten years. She and her staff stay on top of everything and return your calls promptly. Last week her staff settled a trust problem for me within five hours. This week they are handling my mothers estate for me. Her office has handled our wills, trust, purchase and sale of three houses at very reasonable rates. Before dealing with Nancy Saia I used two different lawyers that took forever to get things done, one even messed up the paper work and wanted me to pay to correct his mistakes. I even chose Nancy Saia over a cousin who was a lawyer before he retired.

Very disappointed. Their website says they are compassionate as they know their clients are going through difficult times. We were respectful, conscientious and even apologetic in our verbal and written communucation to Ms. Grear and her secretary, Heather. However, unfortunately, Ms. Grear just let us go as clients, refunding part of our retainer fee because we allegedly called her secretary too often.

Linda and her staff were an absolute delight to work with. My matter was very complex with multiple siblings and a lengthy will left by my father. Scheduled quickly for an appointment, office ended up closed presumably for snow, I was able to call and make another phone consultation for later in the same week. We used Katherine Bestine for a no-fault, uncontested divorce. On my initial visit, 10/28/22. At that time I was told the divorce should be done by February so we could file our taxes together one last time. She cut the remainder in half because "this is so simple".
We paid $2400 upfront. They took so long they needed another $2000.
We did not have a divorce date until AUGUST 29 2023.
It was so upsetting and hard.
I'm so disappointed. I was recommended to her from several very public attorneys. I have made them all aware of what happened.
I hope the truth can be provided to clients so you don't have to spend 11 months getting divorced. No money, no property. The only thing was a name change.
Just so disappointed. I'd be weary to use her again.
The paralegal and clerks were all fantastic.

Harvey became very unresponsive in the first few months of my case. he didn't do a lot of the work which was left for me to do and in the end I received an extraordinary bill. For months at a time I would not know what was going on with my case and when I'd ask for an update, I would not get a response as well. In the end, all of the things that I originally wanted changed in my custody agreement had not been addressed or resolved. Very overpriced for the quality of service he offers.

I write this review knowing that Dave has moved on into a different career field but I just wanted to say he was a phenomenal lawyer.
My case was probably like no other he had encountered because he told me so but Dave worked diligently on my case that involved spoofing, fake Facebook accounts, and someone impersonating an attorney. There were people who conspired against me to ruin my reputation and my family relationships. I can't even begin to express my sincere gratitude to Dave for uncovering the truth and dispelling a bunch of lies. My life was seriously affected because of viciousness and jealousy. Dave was excellent in my situation my sibling my situation was complicated I I had several issues that had to be resolved and he resolved all of them he simultaneously took care of a legal issue and the matrimonial issue together he was very concerned about me and my situation I had several times when I change my mind about situations but he always reminded me that certain things were a waste of time and money and he was always looking out for my best interest he was always there when I called he always return my emails and he set up a very good settlement for me it was excellent but I decided to converted to a separation agreement which turned out to be maybe not the greatest idea but the settlement he did get me was excellent in the best settlement I could get under the terms I know everyone is not satisfied with the job that attorneys sometimes do but I have to speak from a personal point of view this attorney was very caring he took the time to really formulate my case people have to remember that is not only the attorney that prepares your case but you are also responsible for some of that stuff also meaning your behavior at the end of the day I would highly recommend this attorney wherever he's at

Aaron did my house closing and it was such a smooth and easy process, thanks to him. I only had to go to his office once and that was the day of the closing, as he handled everything up until that point for me and kept me informed as to what was going on! Terrible terrible terrible woman!! I hired her to help me with my custody/visitation case and she completely let my ex win custody of my children and I was left with nothing but 2 weekends a month! She failed to listen to me on what I wanted she instead only did what she wanted to do. She was very rushy and wanted the case to be done and over with as soon as possible with whatever results my ex wanted. Do not hire this crazy lady. She gives everyone dirty looks and always has an attitude when talking to people. She talks down to everyone as well. Stay far away from her!! Nothing but disappointment and nastiness from her.
