Harris Law Firm has done a wonderful job on my divorce. I would like to thank Kim Gent and her paralegal Maureen McAllister for all the hard work they have done. Dealing with the back and forth with the petitioner and their attorney and really paying attention and handling the responses from the petitioner, her attorney. I was really glad that Kim and Maureen got them to settle out of court to where we wouldn't have to make an appearance. I am still working with Kim and Maureen because there are some other things the petitioner still has to sign and get notarized. I like that they still want to help until every little things are completely done. Even though the divorce is over and I don't want to have any contact with the petitioner, and they understand that. Kim and Maureen have always listened to me and gave their opinion and figure out our strategy on how to approach the situation. I met Mr Eldridge 30yrs ago at the time he handled 3 cases did excellent job.
Recently, I was represented by Wade Eldridge in a court case where I was falsely accused and was facing three years in jail. I felt betrayed scared and small up again such accusations. Wade Not only took my case and helped me through this trying situation. He showed compassion and heartfelt case for me as a person he became my protector. I got in a car accident where my car was totalled and my wrist and hand were broken. The other driver was at fault and I knew I needed a lawyer to help with this. I went to see a handful of lawyers about this and it didn’t feel right until I met Wade. Wade took the time to explain the process we would go through in detail. Wade & his paralegal Dawn are absolutely awesome. Dawn is unbelievable at organizing things and requesting what she needs from you. I don’t know how she keeps it all together. Knowledgeable, Professional, Responsive, Efficient, Clear communication, Friendly.
I have several issues with my rental building. They made several promises to me that they didn't follow through and the building and services are not up to the expected and advertised standards. Although I have very slim chances to get a positive outcome or win any case against them, I reached out for attorneys to help me. Most of the firms turned me away without even looking/hearing about the "possible" case.
Megan not only listened to my case, but she also was very knowledgeable about the law and explained to me in a very clear and detailed way all the options I had.
Against all odds of getting any positive outcomes, Megan worked through my case to get a positive response and agreement from the rental company.

We reached out to Lyda Law to help with a spurious damage claim from a rental car company. Megan and team asked the right questions, made sure they understood the details and what our desired outcome was. Her letter to the rental car company was "pitch perfect." She even uncovered an inconsistency in their own record-keeping that we had not even noticed, which further solidified our position that their claim was unsubstantiated. In the beginning it felt like this firm truly had my children's best interest at heart. My case played out for over 3 years. After "winning" at trial with further litigation to take place, I was struck with an uneasy feeling. I felt bullied into a settlement as the attorneys were fed up with my case. Many people had told me over the duration of my case that things weren't quite adding up and that my attorney did not seem to have our best interests at heart. I began to reflect on the case and all the inconsistencies, placating to the other side and capitulating to them as well. I then conferred with another attorney and ended up retaining her services to finish out my case. Upon the new attorney's review of my case, she stated this case was a mess, and she was flabbergasted at all the litigation that was allowed to take place. She mentioned there was a much more direct way to have gone about this case, less money and time wasted, not to mention my children's mental and emotional health. My worst feelings had been confirmed. It is a relief to finally have someone on my case who is truly for the children and not the money.

They used to be Cantafio and Hammond. Their employment lawyer Christine Breen took my case, when I was at my lowest, just let go after years of workplace bullying, and recently retaliated against for whistleblowing, and contemplating suing my employer. She promised to help, but then was MIA and refused to return calls. Yet she charged $2000 doing work no one asked her to do, as I already signed a severance agreement not to sue. She never wrote a demand letter. Never did anything substantial, except wrote 2 emails. I had to tell her to cease and desist charging me. I had to bring this case to the bar association. She immediately called, yelling, you agreed to pay this amount. We negotiated, and she reduced it by a few hundred. I should've gone to the bar association and got her disbarred. When you are at your most vulnerable, you cannot trust these people.

I hired Sergei because the initial consultation was smooth, and everything laid out was in line with my objectives. After I hired him, there were long periods where he was working other cases and came back to mine only when the deadline was coming due. He would then work late, last minute phone tag with my ex and I without any kind of recording, and when we went to court, my ex had pretended like none of the conversations had happened. Additionally, while sitting in court he would have casework on his computer for another client...definitely not my case because the names in the documents were none of my kids, my ex, or me. During the breaks at court he would be on the phone with other clients, and not discussing what to expect while at court, what was coming, or what he was going to do for me on my case. As the months had dragged on in this process, his clerk would file paperwork with the court that had material errors that needed to be corrected (at my expense, again), and these documents would continue to drag out my case because the financial numbers were so inflated my ex would continue to refer back to them and I'd have to provide the same statements over and over again. When he would "bargain" with my ex, it always came to surrendering more and more of my assets in exchange for moving things along. Giving up 60%, then 65%, then 70% of my 401 in exchange for getting the divorce settled and over with. I eventually had to ask that he no longer represent me in my divorce because I couldn't afford his services. There was further dispute when the severance date was, and this was adjudicated in court as well when he placed a lien on any marital assets I may be awarded. In addition to the disputed bill, I was billed for the hourly rate of him and others at his firm to file suit against me, also being added to the lien. This debt, for several thousands more, is currently in collections and I'm looking at a chapter 7 to get clear of it. I'm glad some people were pleased with his services...but I regret hiring him with every collection call I receive.

I had a few lawyers before Sergei for the last four years on my son's custody case. The previous lawyer created so much mess in my son's custody case. Sergei took care of some of her mess very well. He guided me so well and force another party to offer an agreement with me.
My friend referred me to Sergei. I am so glad I hired him.

I hope for the future Google Reviews can provide an option of (—) Negative starts in the mean time I’m gonna rate this little mediocre house “business” a — 9. I schedule an appointment with a month of anticipation for March 18th on the first place, mind you I create this appointment around February if not sooner around last weeks of January. I call to confirm on March 15th to my surprise a lady answers and says “we hope you called us back, we are gonna have to reschedule due the person in charge of your case is out for an audience” My initial thought was, there’s no one else that can take my case? There’s just one lawyer? Didn’t thought that much of it, they rescheduled me for today April 8th at 4pm. I call today in the early morning to confirm my appointment before I do so I found a v-m in my phone form some lady saying “please call us back as soon as you hear this” so I do, for my surprised the First Lady that answers doesn’t have any idea of how to help me, they transferred me with another person and this one tells me we are gonna have to reschedule the reschedule ONCE AGAIN! Due the lawyer taking your case is out sick.” I am beyond upset at this point, this is the second time they rescheduled me! I told the lady the that was unacceptable, she give me the option to come tomorrow and the I told her that I couldn’t be missing work, I already asked for the evening off so to please let me keep the same time and to find me another lawyer that could take care of my case. This lady proceeds to tell me “yes, let me see what I can do and I would give you a callback.” This happens at 10:23am for the rest of the day I never received a call, email, text, message , fire sign or anything from this person. So, if you are desperate, have limited funds and need assistance ASAP please AVOID THIS little piece of trash !! They would waste your time, resources, money, gas and words. Spend the extra fees in someone that actually follows direction, mean what they say and has genuine word, not this little circus. Do better , y’all playing with peoples lives and time. Shame on you and your ancestors!!!!

I hired Attorney Matt Patton in July of 2023 to help me with my divorce. Katherine Reckman represented me in my divorce and she was very fair and steadfast through my proceedings. My ex husband chose very inept representative which derailed his case. In the end, he trusted Katherine to write up our agreement which he eventually signed. I highly recommend this firm, and Terri Harrington, specifically. This was the best decision I made during a very overwhelming divorce process. I hired Terri the week before my scheduled mediation, as the previous lawyer dropped the ball significantly and I had to fire him. Terri and her team were incredibly communicative (for example, I have never had to wait longer than 24 hours for a reply), empathetic, knowledgeable, and quick.
