I used Jim the first time concerning a contractor working on my house. He did an amazing job and he was able to help us get that contractor removed so we could hire a new contractor to fix and finish the job 15 years ago. I also use him for my business. He is currently drafting my husband and I a new will. He has handled business liens, reveiwing company documents, and can assist in keeping corporate books in order. He always provides reasonable, honest advise. No one wants to have to hire an attorney but Im glad we have someone we trust if we need help.

Ashley Scarpetta was consulted to learn if our aging father's will needed fine-tuning to accurately reflect and ultimately fulfill Dad's longstanding wishes for his family. Ashley welcomed our concerns by answering our many questions, educating us in a manner that was easy to grasp.

When I started looking for a lawyer, I knew exactly what I wanted and needed. What I wanted was a lawyer who had the knowledge to handle my situation and be willing to research all of the finer details. What I needed, and this is very important to me, was someone who I felt I could really trust and count on. Personality always matters to me. I need to feel a connection with a person in order to be able to have them be a part of my life.
In my effort to find an attorney, I spoke with quite a few. Although some of them represented themselves in a great way, I did not feel the connection that I was looking for. I simply needed more. Then a friend of mine told me about James Stuart Teague. They only had good things to say about him. So, I decided it was worth making yet another phone call. I left a message for Mr. Teague, and within 45 minuutes, he returned my call. I was pretty amazed by this, due to the fact that it was well past 5:00 p.m. I thought I would not get a call till the next day. Then, not only did he call me back after hours, but he stayed on the phone with me for well over an hour discussing my issues. Within the first fifteen minutes of our conversation, I knew that I had found my lawyer. His knowledge base was amazing, and he immediately made me feel less stressed about my situation. I knew that this was the person who I needed and wanted to be on my side. After our conversation, I felt that not only had I chosen the best lawyer to help me, but I had chosen a person that I would want to have as a friend. Again, that is very important to me.
Well, here I am six months later, writing this with a big smile on my face! I did make the right choice. James Stuart Teague is amazing. Any time you have to deal with an attorney, it is going to be stressful. However, he has made this whole process so much less stressful then I ever could have imagined. He has a calmness about him that really puts you at ease. He has researched all that has needed to be researched, and he always tells it like it is. I call or email him with questions and concerns probably more than the average person would, and he always gets back to me in a timely matter. He never seems rushed or bothered. I am aware that he has many other clients that he is working with, however, I always feel as if I am his only one. He really makes you feel special! My situation is going along quite smoothly and both my husband and myslelf are just thrilled with "my" pick. We are also happy because it is always nice to make a new friend. Angela blows away the stereotype of most family law attorneys. I was dealing with a very difficult family situation and she made the divorce as painless as possible. She is very compassionate and understanding but has the boldness to set you in your place when necessary. I will never forget at one point I got aggravated when she wasn't returning my phone calls right away. She scheduled a meeting with me and explained she was being considerate of the cost of returning a response every time I went into panic mode which was frequently. She then helped me calm my senses and work toward mediation instead of court. At mediation her skills really impressed me in her ability to pick out the "fine" print. At that point I realized what she was charging me was worth every penny and more.

Angela saved me. I was served with the family violence act, removed from my home, not to see or contact my child or ex until our court date. We had several court dates where she managed to get temporary orders instead of final orders. Giving me time to sober up, being that getting my ex was trying for full custody on the grounds of alcoholism. She suggested a guardian ad lietem ,and that helped my case tremendously. o even got a DUI during the times of the temporary orders and she still succeeded in getting one more continuance in the in she prevailed and I got my child back in my life. I contacted Mary after jacking around with a divorce process that had lasted way too long not involving a lawyer on my part. When the delays became too excessive, I reached out to her to help me get everything finalized. After nearly 30 years of marriage, my wife and I decided to divorce. It was a very difficult decision for the both of us. I thought our divorce would be uncontested and over quickly but it became contested.
I researched everything I could find concerning divorce. What to look for in a Divorce Attorney, 10 Things to Do Before Filing for Divorce, 10 Things Not to Do Before You Divorce, What Does Divorce Cost and on and on. It’s overwhelming.
The 1st thing I did was take the advice of one article about steps to take to find a good divorce attorney. I interviewed 5 different lawyers, in person, in the area. The only attorney that passed all of the criteria was Mary House.
First, you will notice that Mary is very thorough. She takes the time to explain the process in lay person terms. She described the steps in detail what I would need to do so there are no surprises.
Second, she listens. She listened to my side of the story and took the time to determine what would be the best way to represent me. I could convey specifics about what I wanted and Mary would explain what I could expect from the results.
Third, communication. Mary IS the best communicator. As soon as she had any information, I knew about it. Whether through email or phone call, I was current with everything going on.
Fourth, determination. Mary does her best to get the divorce finalized as quickly as possible and genuinely concerned to reduce costs as much as possible. She is quick to respond to the opposing attorneys. She keeps correspondence precise and to the point. At times it seemed I was her only client. She always got back to my questions/requests in a timely manner.
Fifth, Compassion. Mary has the compassion you want in the very best attorney. She was truly dedicated to the outcome of my case and made every effort to make sure I was completely satisfied with the outcome.
Sixth, Experience. When you talk to Mary, it is obvious she has seen it all and her experience is a testament to that. I won’t list it here but you can look up Mary’s extensive credentials online.
I’ve only commented on some of the points I feel that were important to me. I could continue with more but I think you get the point.
If I had to do it all over again, I would get Mary to represent me.

Attorney Ana represented me on a battery case is Paulding County and got the charge dismissed. I was arrested for a battery against my girlfriend but there was a total misunderstanding on the case. Things got blown way out of proportion, but, the cops or the DA would not listed to her and drop the charges. She was told that she could not drop charges because the State picked up the charges. This attorney was recommended to me by my co-worker. When I called the office, I was able to talk to Ana right there and then. She scheduled me to come in and meet with her and told me her plan on helping me. She met with my girlfriend and listened to what had really happened and, long story short, she got my charges dismissed. First off it's not okay to drink and drive or drive under the influence, BUT it had been hours since my last drink. I was drinking water since that last drink. Luckily the office who pulled me over had me on video. Yes I did take a right corner a little sharp hitting the shoulder line, but I was well within my limits to drift that corner a little close. I was by no means endangering anyone or myself. Still the officer pulled me over and performed a sobriety test. It was kind of hokey so I hired this attorney. Ana managed to get the charges dismissed. Through the whole process she answered all of my questions and settled my concerns. I don't look forward to hiring another lawyer but I need one I definitely am coming back.
