Mr Lowrey was always respectful and kind when my 80 year-old mother and I came in for her trust, will and power of attorney documents. I called HLC after my father passed recently. During my consultation, I spoke to Ms. Chu for over an hour. She took her time, listened and answered every question that I had. As you can imagine, in a situation like this, there were a lot of questions. A few hours after I spoke to her, I located a treasure trove of information and I would not have been able to understand any of it if she hadn’t taken her time and thoroughly explained the process and what exactly we were dealing with. She was knowledgeable, experienced and I could tell by speaking with her that she has that ‘thing’ in her that allows her to fight for her clients. She cares. Mr. Dixon helped me resolve a tax problem that I didn't even know about until I received letters from the IRS saying I owed money. My CPA looked at IRS rules and said I should pay the money because the IRS had given exact instructions on the issue. In my first meeting with Mr. Dixon, he took the time to learn all about my problem and asked for details regarding important facts unique to my circumstances. I could tell that he really was thinking through all the options before giving me several options on what I could do, along with all the pros and cons with each option. In the end, Mr. Dixon explained that the IRS rules were not the law and that the IRS was going against decisions by judges. I decided to have Mr. Dixon help me and clearly told me what I had to give him to help him do the job and explained certain things that his firm didn’t need to do and how it would save me money. I really appreciated the fact that he kept me involved in the process and let me know what was happening on my case. He always called or emailed me back when I had a question. With his attention to detail Mr. Dixon was able to figure out how the IRS was wrong and that I was actually owed money. All in all, Mr. Dixon found-out the best way to solve the problem and got me a great result. I am grateful to him and recommend Mr. Dixon for any tax problem.

Brad Monson, another attorney, did a careful appraisal of my needs, which had a few complications. He scheduled a free consultation with Bryan. When we met I knew that my fiance and I had found the right person. He made suggestions that would help us resolve our title transfer issues and also restated my out-of-date trust. After contacting other attorneys who wanted to charge me a consulting fee, I was referred to Alexis by a friend. I never really have understood a consulting fee. I feel the purpose of meeting with an attorney is an interview process to determine whether you believe that person would be a good fit and to decide if you choose to hire them or not. After contacting Alexis I made an appointment with her. Alexis is very friendly and outgoing. She's easy to speak with and communicates very well. During our meeting Alexis explained the benefits and protection that a trust provides. She outlined the entire process and disclosed all the cost involved. At that point I decided to retain her services. Alexis and her staff were in constant contact from that point on via email and they were always available by phone as well.
Planning and forecasting your future needs is not as simple as you made think until you have to do it. Alexis and her team clearly understood this more than I and were prepared to guide myself and my wife through it simplifying the process and easing the stress.
I always have a feeling of confidence when dealing with professionals and Alexis did not disappoint. I would highly recommend consulting with Alexis to see what she can do for you.

Kurth law office has handled 2 of my custody battles and has been by far the most outstanding attorney anyone could ever ask for. He has gone out of his way to make me as a client feel like I've mattered. He knows the law well and pushes for what is right. He doesn't take no for an answer and always went out of his way to make sure things were handled. Even when he's busy he always has time for his clients and manages his time well. My cases have been long and drawn out and very out of the ordinary but Robert always was on top of every aspect of the case and knew the case inside and out. Aaron helped me to gain ownership of my home after the seller of my house tried to dispute the transaction 4 years later! Apparently, we did not prepare the paperwork right, but Aaron won our lawsuit!

Steve was in house counsel at a firm where I was appointed CFO to help lead a turnaround. To call it a mess is being very kind. There were backdoor deals, cash transactions and mis-representations galore. Somehow, Steve managed to keep us on the right path, help define the appropriate positions for the Company, soothe investor tensions and most importantly help us get it across the finish line.
I still have business in Las Vegas, and Steve is the only attorney I use. If we need to bring in other counsel, it is only at his referral.
