My husband and I met with Tim to put a Trust in place to make sure our home and savings didn't go through probate and specifying who would get what since we don't have kids yet. I have worked for Tim for many years so I understand the benefit of estate planning, but being on the other side of the table was different than I expected! He helped guide us through the process (and was very patient in explaining everything to my husband who doesn't have any experience with this type of stuff).

Joy helped so much in my custody and divorce case. Anytime there was ever an issue with my ex, I was able to call her and get some type of resolution immediately. Hello my name is Alma and I am very excited to write this review for the newly re-branded IBIS; the law firm of Rebecca Yingst Price. For many years I procrastinated about updating my estate plan, and this was something I found to be very daunting and stress producing.
Rebecca was referred to me by a friend and one day i decided to give her office a call to schedule and appointment. Kristine was able to resolve a settlement in 10 short weeks compared to what a so called “top attorney” from Dayton couldn’t do in 8 months that I discharged from my case. Her communication is above exceptional and she took the time to explain the processes and her experiences in the Warren county court systems. I hired Kristine a little over two years ago after firing an attorney who had actively made a complete disaster out of my case. Kristine instantly got to work on cleaning up the mess I was left with……and to date, she is still working as ferociously as she began. I cannot say enough good things about Kristine but will attempt to do so here.
Communication – Kristine is SO on top of communication, and not just with me, but with anything that comes her way about my case. She is constantly checking the court docket and has even relayed information about other cases that I have been dragged into before I even knew it. She copies me on all correspondence about my case to GALS, attorney’s, mediators, and even court administrators. I am never left in the dark about my case with Kristine. There are no surprises when I head to a hearing or trial. She makes no decisions without my input. Any meeting that occurred in chambers or on conference calls, she will immediately relay all that was discussed while I was not present. There have been times during after-hours or on weekends and even holidays where I have needed Kristine, and she has never turned me away.
Motions – Kristine is a wordsmith. She writes excellent motions and has a knack for cleverly delivering just what I need conveyed. She never submits or files anything without my approval. Even if it drives her nuts (which she never lets on to)…..she allows me change the motions until I am fully satisfied. She never gives me grief about it, even if I want to edit it five times. She is patient and truly understands that this is my life, and these things are important to me.
Conduct in trails or at hearings – Kristine is fantastic on her feet. I recently had a VERY important hearing that was granted by the skin of our teeth. At the end of the hearing the Judge asked Kristine and the opposing attorney if they would like to close with a statement. Kristine had nothing written. She spoke completely from her heart and head about my case. Her knowledge of the case was so clear that everything she was saying came out natural and genuine. She knocked it out of the park for me at that hearing, and I am sure that her closing words helped to solidify the favorable outcome that I received after that hearing.
Knowledge of your case – I am continuously impressed with Kristine’s innate ability to retain information about my case. This is such a rare quality in an attorney. Most attorney’s treat you like you are just one of hundreds of clients and they can’t recall anything about your case without referencing an email or note. Not Kristine, she has it all right in her head and at times she has even reminded ME of things about my case that I had forgotten. It’s incredibly helpful to have an attorney who absorbs information about your case, especially when it comes to cross examining witnesses!
Going to bat – She is no doubt a feisty Italian from Boston, need I say more? In my case, my ex is a terror. It feels good to have Kristine observe that and truly understand the crux of who is the cause of most of our issues, and therefore is not afraid to stand up for me, or “go to combat” with my ex on the stand when he is being pompous and impossible.
General care – I went through one of the toughest years of my life. It is not an exaggeration when I say that I could not have made it through without Kristine. She did everything in her power for me when I was at my lowest points in this case. She has gotten to know my family. She believes in me; she believes in my case. Even when I had just had my baby and an important court date was coming up, she came to my home for a meeting, so I didn’t have to find childcare and leave my newborn. She has genuine empathy when things are bad and is right there to rejoice with you when things are good. Kristine is not just my attorney; she has become my friend.
Just hire her. I promise you will not be disappointed in her abilities to fight for you.

My wife and met Scott for the first time earlier this year, 2020. Despite closed offices and limited ability to meet face to face, we were able to establish a completer set of plans and trusts. I got hit with a lawsuit by a large Credit Card company over an unpaid balance (my fault) and I hired Joseph Mezher to negotiate the amount owned down to a much more workable amount with the other law firm. Mezher Associates were great to work with and very helpful. All of the other of the attorneys I consulted wanted me to declare bankruptcy, Joseph Mezher was the only one who help me work the other law firm to avoid doing that. Very pleased with the outcome and would work with them again anytime.

We were faced with losing everything that my mother and father had worked for their entire lives because my mother had a stroke. People always hear of all the horrors of not being prepared for the possibility of sudden illness or incapacitation brought on by any medical procedure or health problem. Well I can say that everyone should find a reputable Attorney, like Jason McMahon, and get your affairs in order before those horror stories take you and your family down in a heartbeat. There are so many rules and regulations as well as "Loopholes" involved in getting your family member accepted for Medicaid that nobody, except an Attorney, can possibly know, discover or understand. If you wait until an emergency occurs, you will be in the same boat we were in and without a paddle as well. I was very fortunate in finding an honest, hard working, concerned, dedicated, knowledgeable, etc., etc., Attorney in Jason McMahon. I can honestly say that I have never had such fine fortune in my life before, so I am very thankful. It is very true that an Attorney is expensive, but when you consider their fee against what you have to lose, an honest Attorney like Mister McMahon will earn every penny you have to pay out. Mr McMahon's fees are actually a bargain when compared to other Attorneys as well anyway. All this said, if (when) we ever need another Attorney, we will definitely be calling on Jason McMahon first. He has definitely felt like a very great friend on our side for the entire process of getting my mother accepted for Medicaid. The words in the review title that I used all describe Jason very well. I first met Jason as a result of a friend's recommendation. My friend lives in Thailand and needed someone that he could trust to handle his father's affairs regarding nursing home care, medicaid, and estate matters. At that time, I was caring for my elderly Uncle's affairs while he was in a nursing home. I needed advice on how to proceed with Medicaid and all of my other Uncle's needs. Upon my first meeting with Jason, I took and immediate liking to this man. He is a very personable, compassionate, knowledgeable and caring individual who one can trust implicitly to do what is best for his clients. I have absolutely no regret at all in retaining Jason to represent my Uncle. He did a wonderful job and met our needs well. He followed through with everything and everyone and represented my Uncle with nursing home authorities, medicaid, probate etc. He always returned calls and emails promptly if I couldn't reach him directly. After working with Jason for almost a year on my Uncle's estate needs, I can say that we have developed more than just a client/attorney relationship. I consider Jason a true friend and know that I can count on him in the future should I need his assistance. Jenn is an absolute wonder. She and her staff helped me through my mother's estate and setting up my own families trust. It's hard to find someone to trust with your assets, but after extensive research and reading reviews (plus - gut instinct) - it was a homerun. Jen returns calls and messages that same day or in some cases within minutes. Don't know how many people actually know about the work that goes into estate planning and setting up a family trust - It's a lot... 'trust' me. Jen went over every aspect of what the whole process encompasses. Sometimes it gets confusing, but she understands that it's a lot to take in and doesn't have any problem going over things with you again.

We conferred with Jen about drawing up our wills. We had definite ideas about how we wanted our affairs handled, but we didn't think we needed a Trust. Just a simple will. Jen was very patient and explained that what we wanted to do was exactly what a Trust was designed to do. Still, we just wanted a simple will. Jen did not press us and continued to try and make our wishes work with just a simple will. As we worked together, we began to see that she was right and eventually established a Living Trust.
