I am writting this review to perhaps help someone who plans to hire Ms. Jimenez.
I am writing to alert people regarding the lack of representation and communication from Attorney Alisha Jimenez during a critical time for my wife and me.
Prior to the holidays, we had a conversation with AttorneyJimenez in which she assured us that she would prepare a journal for our upcoming pretrial. Unfortunately, this preparation was never completed. Despite my numerous attempts to reach out to her through various channels—including the messaging portal, email, and office phone—my messages went unanswered.
As a result of this lack of communication, my wife and I found ourselves unprepared and without guidance during the court pretrial, as Attorney Jimenez did not attend or call in to support us. This situation has caused us significant stress and concern, and we find it unacceptable for a client to be left without representation in such an important matter.

I consulted with Ms. Jimenez after being served with foreclosure papers on a property I was renting from a person who turned out NOT to be the real owner. For lack of a better term, she talked a good game. She seemed tenacious and knowledgeable. She mentioned all types of possibilities (for instance, being paid by the mortgage company to turn over the keys). She was proactive in contacting the foreclosing attorney and immediately told me to stop paying rent. She even wrote a letter to the "landlord" to that effect.
As our case made its way through the system Ms. Jimenez became more difficult to reach via phone or her client portal. Finally, a few days before our court date, which we were aware was going to be a telephonic appearance, I contacted her to find out if there was anything I needed to take to court. She did reply, and I thought I was set.
On the morning of the hearing, she called to inform me that she had not pre-registered to call in to the court and asked that I request the judge call her. I had NEVER been before a judge before so was already super nervous. Fortunately, the judge did call, but the bulldog that I had dealt with for the previous 4 months turned into a sheep. Even though the "landlord," who had never presented a lease agreement between herself and the real owner when Ms. Jimenez had requested it suddenly presented a doctored notarized document (the judge asked why there was white out), Ms. Jimenez said nothing. So I did, and the judge said the validity of the document was irrelevant to the case. Ms. Jimenez again remained silent. That was a bad time for an A-ha moment, but it was just that.
Following the hearing, which was granted to the plaintiff, Ms. Jimenez began negotiating. About 3-4 days into the negotiation, she declared that the plaintiff was insane (I was inclined to agree) and that she felt like she was working for the plaintiff not me (I again was inclined to agree) because of how much time she was spending communicating with the plaintiff.
Then, poof! She basically walked away and stopped responding to my emails and phone calls. In a final effort to fully understand what was happening from a legal standpoint and to determine my next steps, I pleaded with her via email to reply. She responded in a stern email that was not characteristic of previous communications that the matter was closed and that negotiations had failed.
So, ergo, the title of this review, "Disappointed." I went with a solo practice because I thought I'd get more personalized service, but this is what I got for the money I paid on time, I might add (more than $1K, less than $2K). She completely checked out, and that's just not principled business. Hope this review helps.

Alisha is extremely professional and knows her field. She returns calls as soon as possible and likewise with emails. The first things I learned is that Alisha is a good listener which for me is important so she can meet my needs and concerns. She started working on my case while on the phone answering questions that she knew could be answered immediately. I contacted the Michael Reese Law Firm after my adult son was involved in a near-fatal car accident. I spoke with Nanette Cruz regarding representing him for Social Security benefits. Nanette assured me she was very confident my son would qualify for benefits and then moved quickly to schedule his case for what turned out to be a successful SSI hearing.
The Social Security Administration process from hearing to actually awarding benefits can take many months. However, when evaluating the attorney who put the process in motion, I could have not been more pleased than I was with Nanette.
Unfortunately, after he received approval, my son had a misstep which could have caused him to lose all benefits, but Nanette immediately filed an appeal. She successfully explained my son’s misunderstanding and had his benefits reinstated.
I could not be more grateful for Nanette’s original success and then for her expertise that saved my son’s benefits. My son’s life has been tremendously improved and we will never be able to thank her enough. She is an exceptional attorney who cares greatly about the welfare of her clients. If you find yourself in the unfortunate situation in which you need to use the long term disability benefits that you have then please take your time and consider using Mr. Hill’s law practice. The policies that the LTD providers have can be challenging, confusing and quite bigoted. The team here however will go above and beyond to ensure that everything is taken into consideration, will explain everything in a full and clear manner and that all further communications with the LTD provider will take place through their practice. Furthermore, all the conferences that took place never felt rushed and left me more informed and educated by the time they were over. Patricia, Michael and Dernica in which I worked with always resulted in positive interactions and got back to me in a timely manner. Mr. Hill has the experience, took his time to understand the situation fully and was able to get my denied benefits restored. If I could go back in time I would have done one thing different though, I would have hired this practice from the onset of my LTD benefits instead of waiting until something went astray. As I have a feeling that with them involved from the start that the denial the LTD provider tried to get away with would have never been attempted.

My wife spoke with Jd. Strong today during a 30-minute consultation. He was excellent! He listened to her concerns and immediately provided her with resources to address them independently. Jd. It’s incredible to read the other review that had a negative experience with his law firm Because it sounds just like my story. Lack of action, the feeling like you are begging or asking for something rather than paying for service. The lack of thorough explanation about the legal process and the simplicity of time your actual consequences seems to be a trademark of this lawyer. I am now confused because I don’t know if he was working for the DA office or if he was there to represent me and fight for my innocence because looking back, there was always a deal on the table, There was always an option of simplicity, as if he didn’t want to be bothered with this issue. I completely understand the result of those actions because a simple search and reading of the legal system lead me to understand the consequences of his lack of action, a convicted felon, taking the time to explain or looking into other options rather than a quick deal that he prosecutor to get out of the way. I’m not here to ask for anything from the justice system or from this man I’m here to prevent you from making a mistake if you’re reading this for an actual lawyer says if you feel like your second home then go ahead and hire him

I met this man a couple years ago when a friend of mine needed help and I'll tell you what from back then he was amazing but I ended up getting into some trouble and as soon as he received the phone call he jumped into action I used his bail man and I was out within a few hours and I had Mr Chris retained before I even was released I can sell you one thing about him when it comes to his clients he does not play around with the case that I had pending I was looking at doing many years but this man right here made sure that I received a phone call from him today with the best news ever that my case was dismissed I can never thank him enough too bad I can't make a cheesecake take in anymore but if you are ever in need of a great or one of the best I should say criminal defense attorneys call this man right here.

If you are looking for a lawyer that has her clients’ best interest at heart, then Elisabeth Hagood is the one you want. You should pick a lawyer who is well respected in the legal community, both Seminole and Orange County. People know HER and that is what is important, especially when it comes to prosecutors and Judges.
During my experience I trusted her completely. I felt like we were truly partners and she never left me hanging. She kept me updated on the case and responded promptly when contacted. Hagood was compassionate and patient, even when I was fed up with the legal system. Every time she walked into the courthouse she was composed, confident, and effective. The case went from possible jail time down to a Judicial warning. They offered a $50 fine. Hagood refused and got it down to the warning. She was worth every penny. Her fees were extremely reasonable, and she did the consultation for free. Give her a call and tell her your situation.
I normally do not write reviews, but I looked at a million before finding Elisbeth Hagood. In the past I have dealt with lawyers who do not really care and just want your money. The only way to know the difference is to hear the experiences of others.

I reached out to Meredith, no one answered the phone so I left a message. Nobody returned my call. After a week went by, I reached back out again. I spoke to Mary. Mary was clueless to say the least. After much back-and-forth with her, an appointment was made for a Teams meeting.
I joined the teams meeting at the appropriate time and waited over 15 minutes. No one joined the meeting, I called the office and was told that I was to call 30 minutes prior to make a payment which I knew nothing about.
I was called a liar abd was told that Mary had sent me an email worker at the law firm. No email was received with payment request.
Meredith requires a payment before any interaction. An initial consult should not be charged as it is finding out if we are a good fit, and if the client feels that the attorney is competent and able to tackle the task.
I do not recommend this law firm.

Hired mr lee when I was charged with a 1st degree felony. Robbery with a weapon. First plea was 6 years. It took 11 Months to fight but in the end Curtis got the charge reduced all the way down to a 3rd degree felony of aggravated assault with out intent to kill. And got me a plea for time served with 3 years probation. Curtis stayed in contact with my family and myself through out the entire process. I am very satisfied with the outcome of my case.

Back in September 2018 we had mold issues in the apartment and he did get us out of the lease and some money back. The only problem is he never met with us and he ignores are phone calls. Jesse is the best! I was referred to Jesse the second I found out that I was being improperly sued by my landlord. Jesse took his time and explained all options to me, but also went a step further to inform me of what could possibly happen if I took the different routes.
