I rarely write reviews; however, I want others who are looking for legal help to know what exceptional support I received from Scott Levin and Michelle de Supinski this year in settling my personal injury insurance claim.
From my earliest contact with them, I was met with consideration and respect. When Scott met with my husband and me via Zoom (we live out of state), I was struck by how genuine and forthright he was as well as by his relaxed and, simultaneously, focused attitude as he guided us through the settlement process. Scott not only answered all our questions, but he concluded our meeting by inviting us to email or call him whenever we had more questions or comments (which we did).
I'm equally grateful for Michelle's support: she notified us promptly whenever action was needed on our part, she always responded to our emails quickly, and she kept us appraised of the progress of our case.
However, it was while reading the concise and compelling demand letter that Scott and Michelle submitted to the insurance company that I truly understood the extraordinary skill both of them had brought to my case. Update: my paralegal told me about how this law firm ran and I posted it on here. Now Brad Miller is questioning my mental health because I posted what my paralegal Nicole told me about how this firm runs.
Because I posted an honest review Brad Miller is trying to retaliate in my current custody battle.
Brad Miller emailed me May 2 2023 in the evening and had an immediate danger hearing May 3 without serving me papers. He has griped that I emailed him when he has emailed me personally.
My mental health is fine Brad Miller. Had a psych evaluation done.

If you really want to stick it to your ex and you want that feeling that you beat them, this is the firm for you. This firm is effective! They will bend the truth for you in court and in numerous superfluous memos. They will bully your ex and drag out the process to ensure that your ex suffers. In fact, they copied me on an internal communication which showed that they will even lie to each other within their own firm. Now, when you come out of the divorce, they will have taken everything from you financially, but who cares when you succeeded in making your ex suffer and that their tactics make thing so toxic that you will hardly be able to co-parent with your ex in the future. To ensure this process drags out as long as possible, they will neglect to let you know that your ex has made offers to settle. For over two years, SKH will make no offers settle with your ex and they will encourage you to not accept any offers because why do that when they can make more money taking this to court. They have so many cases going to court that the judge rebuked SKH for delaying court for 4 months because they had so many court cases booked, but the judge can’t actually do anything to stop these grey area tactics, so it gives you more time to bully your ex! This firm will back you up and encourage you to take your ex for everything. And while this won’t let you move on with your life, who cares as long as you get to falsely believe that your ex is suffering more because of it. Thanks SKH! I don’t have anything left to pay you with anymore, but at least I can feel like my ex suffered.

I cannot say enough good things about Diane. I began working with an advocate at her firm when my son's IEP was not being followed, and when the district failed to meet with us to discuss the issues, she did not hesitate to jump in and represented us throughout our mediation. Because of her, my son now has a solid IEP that he can take with him throughout high school and I gained the tools to better hold the school, admin, and district accountable to ensure my son never slips through their cracks again.
From asking for more useful IEP accommodations, to demanding up-to-date assessments, to securing the paraprofessional my son needs to be successful in general education and ensuring remedies for multiple years of past services not delivered, Diane was a true fighter -- and, most importantly, a firm believer in my son and his rights to a quality education. My son is *finally* successful in school and no longer hesitates to attend. We could not have gotten here without Diane.
My only regret is not hiring her / her team sooner!

Taylar Lewis filed a due process motion against our school district on behalf of my son. She understood the law and the needs of nuero-diverse kids education. The district settled in mediation and provided resources for which we had denied for many years. With out her help I doubt my son could have graduated. I only wish I had hired her many years earlier. The value of the Wiscarson law's help exceeded the cost many times over.

We hired Diane to help us with a complex and difficult case involving our child's special education with our public school district. When I was interviewing attorneys, from the moment I first interviewed her, I knew she would be the one we hired. She is an exceptionally kind and brilliant attorney who truly understands both the legal and emotional aspects involved with special education for special needs, twice exceptional children.
Our situation taking over our case from another firm who didn't work out. She clearly explained the process, set expectations around timing and possible outcomes, and expenses in a way that we, as non-lawyers, could easily understand. She and her staff (shout to her colleague Taylar!) even expertly identified issues in our case which neither we nor the other firm had not noticed, giving us additional grounds for our due process complaint. Our case was so complicated that I think I the opening statement for the due process complaint was over 80 pages long!
This may sound like hyperbole, but I mean this literally. I cannot think of anything Diane and her team could have done differently to make the case go smoother. Our case progressed to trial (a due process hearing with a Washington state Administrative Law Judge). Not only did we "win" our case, but we got pretty much everything we asked for. The Judge himself, in his written decision, commented on how appalling the school district's performance was, with respect to their handling of our child's special education. I am convinced this outcome would not have occurred if we had not selected Wiscarson Law. She truly changed the trajectory of our child's life in a deeply profound way, for which we will always be grateful.
Bottom line: if you need an advocate or legal representation to help you with the special education of your child, run, not walk, to Diane's office. You'll be very glad you did!

Before we met Richard, we had nothing in order -- a very very outdated will (somewhere) that didn't reflect a single aspect of our current life, kids, home, investment property, business etc. After meeting Richard, we have peace of mind! We have a living trust, will, designated guardian for our daughter, person to make medical decisions if we can't, signed docs giving us power to make medical decisions for each other, on and on. We have an enormous binder with all these documents including extremely detailed and helpful information for our next of kin and executor, should something happen to us. Richard and his team make this very straight forward and easy. They kept stressing that we can call any time with questions (no charge) and in 3 years we'll sit for a review of it all (free). This was painless.

The attorney was great throughout the case. When it came crunch time for the final judgement, they never sent in my response. I sent them my marked up document over a month before it was due to the court. The court says nothing was submitted and therefore the other party was awarded everything they asked for. Tried to work with Corey Law to fix this, they refused and said good luck.

We hired Taylor Kittell for help with estate planning and she was terrific. We paid a flat fee, which meant that she didn't benefit from spending extra time with us. Nevertheless, she explained our options to us thoroughly and with great patience and she was quick to respond to follow-up questions or concerns. The legal assistants were also lovely.
