This gal is the most knowlegeable overall of any lawyer i have ever used. Anything I ask her she knows and is quick to answer. No pontificating and dodging the answer. I asked three or 4 lawyers an estate question (they did not know), and Gwyn knew it right away. She doesn't even charge you if you do not engage her and will give you a free half hour (or more). She is awesome and I rely on her for all sorts of legal questions from contracts and real estate, to litigation and procedure matters. I cannot recommend anyone more highly.

Jeffrey is a very conscientious, highly knowledgable attorney. He helped us update our wills and estate planning.
The process was easy. His rates are very reasonable. We went through the process during the Covid-19 lock down period. Between the online video conferencing, and emailing, it was a safe, socially distant process. Jeffrey drove to our home with his assistant and was able to complete the signing in our driveway with a safe distance at all times.
Another aspect I liked about Jeffrey is how community-oriented he is. His volunteer service to those in need is inspiring.
I would highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of his services!

I used Jeff's services for my business last year and he was very responsive and helpful. Matter resolved and moving on. Fast forward to the 2020 Covid19 pandemic when we're all trying to figure out how to keep our businesses going through the shutdown. Three weeks ago I got a random email from Jeff listing out all of the resources we have access to and listing out exactly what needed to be done for each one. I can't begin to say how helpful this was and how kind it was in this difficult time that he thought to send this information to all his former clients. He has even continued to keep us updated as more things open up and rules change. Ms Carey is the consummate professional. I hugely regret not switching attorneys when another (medical) professional suggested I do so after I had retained an attorney and was in the throes of the challenges of securing legally entitled services for my child. I consulted with her, and she was kind, compassionate, and responsive. A great listener. She cared about my child more than my money. I ultimately decided not to switch which was a mistake, and I may still end up retaining her. She seems to be the best: smart, focused on what is best for child (not her wallet or ego), and wise in the ways of SPS. Do not repeat my mistake if SPS is making it hard to get what your child is legally entitled to.

I've met quite a few lawyers in my life (some who I feel ripped me off), and I have to say Ann is one of the kindest and most generous lawyers I have met. She's extremely intelligent and truly knowledgeable in the areas she advertises--and others such as divorce. Ann is also doing my will. I honestly think she could handle any type of case...
Ann also has excellent assistants who are knowledgeable and caring, and give you a warm feeling.
Ann did some pro-bono work for me, and I didn't have to ask! I got more than I paid for. Needless to say, I was pleasantly shocked.
Ann has also helped children.

I have known Ann Carey for almost 20 years. We first met when she offered services in the Juvenile Detention System and I was a Chaplain there. She was available and always responsive and she has not changed over the years. I have referred her, most recently to a young man in our parish. I don't have details but his case was satisfactorily resolved. I had occasion to contact her myself, in the last month, regarding a criminal case for a family member. She responded quickly and with the information and advice I needed. Hers is the only Attorney phone number in my personal directory and she is the first person I recommend if someone asks me about legal services. I received a speeding ticket ( while coming from Seatac to Seattle on i-5 ) for first time in WA few months back. I contacted Stephanie and she made the whole experience seamless and very easy. She was very professional and nice when I spoke to her for the first time. I sent a scan copy of my ticket and rest everything was taken care by Stephanie. She basically took care of my ticket start to end and I never had to worry about it.
She got my ticket dismissed to non-moving violation.

Generally when one is seeking an attorney, it's not because they are looking for a conversation or a new friend, there are extenuating circumstances that have taken place in one's life and an expert is needed to help defend or represent that individual. I have had this happen to me and I was very concerned and honestly worried about what could and may have happened to me. I found Stephanie, explained my circumstances to her and she did a phenomenal job in advising me, comforting me and ensuring I was aware the whole time of what was taking place with my case throughout my legal ordeals. Every time I had a question or concern she would get back to me ASAP, never leaving me wondering if she got my message or if she just didn't care. Stephanie knows her way around a court room, a judge, a jury and most of all, the prosecution.
I hands down recommend Stephanie as she will make one's life a little less stressful in an already stressful situation, she did for me.

My partner and I recently did our estate planning with Stacy and her firm based on the strong reviews in handling pets. While we ultimately got what we needed - our wills with a pet provision - I wouldn't say the folks we talked to seemed to have any particular expertise in the matter, it was just another section in the will that we filled out.
Our entire experience took from February - August from our reaching out to schedule our initial consultation call to receiving our final signed documents. While our situation didn't seem particularly complicated or unusual, we were charged over $700 more than the original estimated retainer.
While I suppose this is just par for the course in working with lawyers and their hourly rates, it seemed like there were times where they could have been more efficient - for example, our 30 minute pre-signing phone call could have been a 15 minute phone call or simply an email, for example.
All in all, we were able to get what we needed but I would hesitate to recommend the services over others.

Drew is a very down to earth, non "lawyer-y" lawyer. I only met with him in person one time and he was very relaxed yet instilled confidence in me when he spoke about what he does. While it took much longer than I had hoped, he ultimately won a great settlement for us from our own insurance company, using our coverage for uninsured motorists. I had a personal injury as a result of being hit by a drunk driver and not only did Drew make sure all of my medical care (6 months!) was covered in full but left us with $10,000 in our pockets when all was said and done. I highly recommend him and his firm.

I recently consulted with Matthew Cunanan and Drew Davis regarding both an inheritance and an elderly parent with debt problems. As part of a free consultation, they gave me helpful advice about a number of potential scenarios and also did some preliminary research to answer one of my questions. In addition, they were very up-front about their rates, unlike other attorneys I’d spoken with who wouldn’t even give me an estimate without paying for a consultation. The only reason I didn’t end up putting them on retainer was because I needed an attorney who is local to California. I greatly appreciate their efforts on my behalf, and highly recommend them.

Anessa has helped my daughter with child custody issues. Once as a retained attorney 5 years ago and again as a consultant with another round of the same case that is currently in progress. With Anessa's help 5 years ago my daughter prevailed and was able to retain custody of her son. Working with Jamie made that task I had avoided and dreaded for so long vastly easier than I had imagined. Jamie reviewed our situation, answered our questions, and made suggestions for how to title our accounts given what we wished to do for our estate. I was involved in a collision with an uninsured motorist in Fall 2023. At the advise of a friend, I contacted Andrew Cherin to assist me with the claim mediation with both my auto insurance and my health insurance. He was able to claim me the maximum payout from my auto insurance, and got my health insurance to waive any reimbursement out of the auto claim! I am positive things would not have gone as well as they did without his help. I pray that I never need his services again, but for sure know that he's the one I would call if I do!

Got more of a story about how they sympathize for my situation but basically because I'm a federal employee I'm not entitled to the same rights of protection as the general public, according to them. This is even with a judgment from the county court in my favor in regards to the matter. They just simply couldn't help with the employment matter. I suggest looking elsewhere for legal help.

You should consider David. A friend just now asked me about my divorce lawyer and whether I liked him. It’s indeed been years since I really thought about this exact relationship (divorce in 2017) so I was reminded to review him. I met David at a wedding of some friends in which he was serving as the groom’s best man. I thought it was great that I met him organically. I think I met with a few others but a reference from a friend is worth pure gold to me. I agree with everything all have said below. He always spent good time with me, he has a sense of humor and even though at the time, I could barely crack a smile, it frankly diffused a hell of a lot of tension. He had a clever strategy and though we never discussed it, I think I picked up on his waiting game with my ex-sociopathic con man louse of a husband. I am a get- it - done - NOW- -person as soon as I make up my mind. That’s not gonna serve you best with a sociopathic poor man who has no source of income of his own. David took the long view and looking back now I know it served me well. By the time we waited him out he was willing to take far less than originally “requested”. I was my usual impatient. But in the end, not only did he honor my request to finalize the divorce on a certain specific date (it was meaningful to me and sent a secret sayonara message to my EX), he saved me a lot of money with his tactics.

I have known David Huber almost 20 years, professionally and personally. He was the clear choice to represent my interests when I divorced in 2010. My then wife and I had been married over 30 years and had lived together for eight years prior to that. We had two adult children and a somewhat complicated estate of community and separate properties.
I wanted a fair, equitable and friendly outcome. Unfortunately, my former wife engaged an attorney to represent her interests that was not interested in a fair, equitable or friendly outcome.
David’s even and principled representation was able to neutralize the vitriol of opposing counsel while remaining a strong and persuasive advocate on behalf of that ‘fair and equitable’ outcome. David and I both understood that the problem was not primarily my wife … and after 18 months of discovery (of questionable good faith), David was able to persuade opposing counsel that no assets were being hidden. From that point we were able to proceed to a formal mediation process which resolved in one day.
On both a professional and personal level, David was a superb lawyer and counselor. He was always prepared. He communicated well the different perspectives of each issue before making his recommendation … and then accepted whatever decision I ultimately made. He shielded me effectively against difficult opposing counsel. He advocated for and so allowed a fair and equitable outcome to occur. Friendly even.

Erin made the estate planning process smooth and pain-free for me. I had previously contacted two other Seattle attorneys who turned me down as a client simply because an S-corp is part of the mix for me—you would think that most estate planning lawyers would have some experience dealing with S-corps, but apparently not.
Erin went out of her way to double-check that she was handling my S-corp correctly. She's low-key, personable, no-drama, organized, efficient and professional, and prices her services fairly, no pun intended.
I'm confident referring anyone to Erin who needs the basic docs: Financial POA, Health Care POA, Advance Directives, Disposition of Remains, and of course, a Will. She supplies both official hard copies and PDF files of everything and also gives you tips about what else needs to be taken care of and understood, from setting up mutual fund beneficiaries to probate and estate taxes. I enjoyed discussing legal "what ifs" with her.
Erin, you really made the whole thing easier than I expected! Of course, it does help—whomever you choose to draw up your documents—if you do some advance reading about estate planning and familiarize yourself with the vocabulary and basic concepts. Nolo Press, for example, publishes some good primers on the subject.

Attorney Max Soi and the Legal Team at Integrity Law Group provided outstanding legal services for a recent Eviction Action. Attorney Soi has an extensive background in Landlord Tenant disputes in King County. Through the expertise provided by Attorney Soi and his firm we were successful in the resolution of our tenant eviction. Stephanie and her team helped our elderly parents navigate the estate planning process with ease. She provided professional guidance to our family in consideration of Medicaid, a reverse mortgage, and veterans' benefits -- all very daunting tasks for the "Regular Joe". Her company is so aptly named because her compassion shone through at every step of the way -- including coming to our parents' home for meetings and signings, and visiting our father while he was in hospice. Looking at ways to invest my IRA outside of stocks and bonds, I started looking around on the real pros and cons of self directed IRAs. The custodians seem a little too casual and unconcerned about the risks if a mistake is made. Having a father who lost his home to the IRS, and having recently had my business audited I am concerned about the long-term risks of this path.
Luckily after searching around I found Warren's articles about the topic, and learned a bit more.
Warren's articles were the only material I could find that had a pragmatic view and explained some concerns along with the benefits of SDIRAs.
I happen to live in the same city as Warren, and met with him for his crash course intro to self directed IRAs.
I can say he seems like a straight forward, experienced, honest attorney with deep knowledge in this area, and if I move forward with a self directed IRA I will definitely seek his help as I proceed.

Alexandra "Xana" helped me as a single father retain 50/50 custody of my two children. My ex-wife and mother of our two children decided that after 8 years of being divorced in another state that she would paint a completely untrue picture of me as an abusive, alcoholic and unfit father. Since the children's parenting plan was from another state, that added to the complexity of the case. My ex-wife hired an attorney from a "prestigious" Bellevue family law firm that has profiles of countless lawyers on their website. Her lawyer asked for three different emergency injunctions due to child safety. All three were rejected by multiple judges! The difference between Xana and the Bellevue law firms lawyer is that Xana uses facts, the laws and the truth.
This case lasted nearly a year, and was the worst experience of my life. It was not cheap and emotionally exhausting to say the least. Xana was always there to answer my questions and give me guidance. The Bellevue law firm and my ex-wife decided to request a dismissal of the case because Xana was more prepared, more knowledgeable and ultimately a better lawyer.
If you need a family law lawyer, Xana is the best there is in the Puget Sound!

It required knowledge of family law (involving stipulations from out of state), guardianship law, and special needs law. Finding someone knowledgeable in these separate pillars is very rare.
