My wife and i recently used Sharon's firm to prepare our wills (estate and living). It was an outstanding experience from start to finish. We first spoke with her about our desires, she prepared the will, and then sent it to us for review. We each added our personal words to the will, and then sent them back. She incorporated our additions and we signed. It was too easy.
Sharon made the experience simple, straightforward, and convenient. I was impressed with her professional approach, and the explanations she provided during the process to insure that we understood every sentence. She also asked questions about things we had not considered, and made sure nothing was left to chance. Very professional.
This is the second time Sharon has helped our family, and I cannot say how much I admire her professionalism and the human touch she brings to her practice. I would like to take the time to thank Attorney Dwayne Brown for the wonderful service he provided to me! I was involved in a car accident. All the negative reviewers here are spot on. She did not fight for us, and toward the end she dropped our case, two weeks before trial. She didn’t transfer all pertinent information to the new lawyer she chose, and we lost poorly. I still don’t have custody of my child. She was appointed to me I didn’t hire her. I am not an addict or a violent offender or anything of the sort. I was hospitalized and my child was stolen from me because I got sick. I am well and have been for over 4 years, but she made it near impossible for me to get what me and my child deserve. Adequate time together along with loss of custody. For what seems now will be permanent. As others have stated, she allowed the opposing parties attorneys to dominate the case and courtroom with the lawyer. She dropped my case two weeks before trial. She was an emotional mess the entire time we met, she can not do her job effectively. Find someone else.

Would definatly recomend using John as your lawyer. He told me what he could do in my situation and did all that he said. I had FTAs for traffic violations that could have caused me to go to jail and affected my probation in another county. He was able to get me a new court date and handled all requirements before i ever showed up to court. I was even 1st and and 1st out in court because of his dilligently work and was able to avoid sitting in jail over a missed court date. Couldnt have asked for a better outcome.

During the consultation he pulled up my divorce case and proceeded to tell me there were several things not filed or followed through with (#14 to be exact)! I turned in my information and they Never looked over it. Ex should have been held in contempt more than once and Mr Sheffield never did what he said. NEVER even met with me before court.

I got a letter in the mail from Watts & Herring, LLC thinking it was just someone wanting more money. I kept the letter because I was being sued by a debt collector, also I was going through one of these debt consolidation companies that was hurting more than helping. I called Watts & Herring talked to them about my problem. They told me what they would do for me and how much it would cost. I didn't do it right away, but I didn't have long to make a decision. A debt buyer bought a debt, had it placed on my credit bureau files and tanked my score. I was skeptical after contacting several law firms who seemed to be in the debt collector business. I hired this attorney to get me off of a disorderly conduct and resisting arrest charge. I am a single mother with two small children. I am a tax paying and productive member of society.
I went to the police to get assistance as a result of my small children and I being stalked for the past five years. The police arrested me for being disorderly.
My arrest was not justified; however, I had to deal with it. This man, Joshua Jones, the attorney, showed up to the courthouse on the day of court without any pre-brief or pep talk or anything. Contrary to that fact, he was looking rather dapper and seemed to be prepared on the day of court.
Joshua Jones rushed me into agreeing to terms and conditions that he verbally stated to me that I did not understand. He told me to hurry up and decide because he had another client to meet at 12.
Per Joshua Jones, the professional attorney, I needed to go to the court house the following week on any day to sign "paperwork" and pay a 300 dollar fine. According to Joshua Jones, he couldn't take too much time to explain because he needed to go meet his other client at twelve.
Well.... I went to the courthouse with my disabled mother and NO legal representation like Joshua Jones instructed, and it was traumatuzing.
The DAs office stated they could not speak to me without my attorney present. The DAs office also told me the "300 dollars" was not for fines. The DAs office informed me that the $300 was to get accepted into a diversion program. I called Joshua Jones with my frustration and misunderstanding, and he could care less. I used a few expletives, and I fired him immediately and hired someone else.
My entire livelihood depended on this Joshua Jones man to get me relieved of a disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest misdemeanor charge in September of 2024. It is now February of 2025, and because of my arrest for talking loud as an effort to seek help from the police and Josh Jones' poor effort and nonchalant performance on my legal court case, l have lost my family, my husband, my children, my job, my career, my transportation, and my home.
Joshua Jones was paid for a service, and he refused to provide that service. To this very day, I still have not received video evidence of the illegal crimes the police claimed I did. Joshua Jones showed the video footage to me on his cell phone with no sound on the day of court in the same hallway I was arrested in for talking too loud.
He has refused to send me and my new attorneys that SILENT footage of me being "disorderly" like it was alleged.
I emailed, texted, and called Joshua Jones over thirty times with my requests for that footage. I never received a reply.
Be mindful that this attorney was paid in full before he took my case. I do not know why he would not give me the footage, but I consider that to be malicious and spiteful.
So I had to hire another attorney, pay more money, and watch Joshua Jones walk off into the sunset to meet his other client before twelve.
