Please read reviews before letting attorneys represent you. Mr. Earle handled our situation very unprofessional by not responding, returning phone call, no updates on the case, and not answering text messages. I would not recommend this attorney.

Wouldn't take my case for some reason. I was hit by a neighbor here in phenix city. I was told they are limited to what they can do in Alabama. Then I read all these good reviews saying they do help with accident victims. What's the real issue why my accident case was turned down!

The Law Center for Civil and Criminal Justice is the "BEST" Law Center in the City of Bessemer and of course, this includes all surrounding cities in Birmingham as well. In my experience with Attorney Yusof Olufemi who obviously does quite a bit of studying and has proven to my Family his Education in the Law field is far "Greater" than one can imagine. Nevertheless, we've never experienced disappointment in his representation. Back in 2018, we filed a lawsuit against a Construction Company, and out of respect, the name will remain anonymous. Of course, Attorney Olufemi represented our Family extremely well. The case ended up going to trial in 2022 because the Contractor "DID NOT" feel as though he wronged our Family. He felt as though he "DID NOT" owe anything, so of course, Attorney Olufemi stood the test of time. The trial lasted one week, and his representation was beyond "AWESOME". We trusted him through the entire process and needless to say he's one that you can trust. There isn't a dollar amount that could even equal the amount of hours and of course service he has rendered. In my opinion, he's the Best of the Best. This was my first time going to trial and he for sure asked both the Plaintiff and Defendant questions I would have never thought to ask. Going forward we would always recommend this Law Center anytime you're needing Legal Representation, and you'll get the privilege to hear Attorney Olufemi say his most famous quote "WE MUST WORK" His words speak volumes and I wouldn't recommend any other Law Center.

I have always respected and relied on Mr Lambert's advice and representation whenever I needed any type of guidance in legal matters. I have found him very very knowledgeable and Mr Lambert always seems to confidently have the answer I need for my situation. I can't imagine using anyone else unless he suggested that I do so. After several court visits to be able to see my boys, even though I was paying Mortgage, utilities and full child support with no success and being told by my previous lawyer that it is not unusual to be paying so much as a physician; I saw Alison in court during my multiple court visits and I just had the feeling that I should consider her as a lawyer. After researching her more I decided to get her counsel. I would say that was one of the best decisions I ever made in my life. Immediately she got on the case, I was able to see my boys as scheduled on the court order. She was trying to cut my payments down so we planned to go back to court. However, due to my ex-wife erratic behavior, she advised me to seek for custody. I initially turned it down, since I was told by my previous lawyer that my chance of winning a custody battle was very slim. As my ex-wife behavior became more erratic during a few court visits, she advised me again to consider fighting for custody and I did. Now, with her help, I have full custody of my boys, house is sold, so no need to pay mortgage or utility bills. Getting Alison as my lawyer was a blessing and she fought for me till the very end, and every penny spent for her representation was an amount well spent. I am glad this is not something to do over, but if it was, I will take Alison as my lawyer again. Thank you so much Alison and Bre. I really do appreciate all your hardwork and patience.

First and foremost the attorneys at this firm has the right to except or decline representation, but to be rude, and condescending during the phone consultation was unprofessional. I spoke with what sounded like an old hateful White man about filing a petition with The United States Supreme Court with a bad connection, I could barely hear what he was saying and would not call me back on a clear line. This attorney didn't listen to my issue, ove talked me. Thank you for declining representation. I would NOT recommend this firm.

This is the worst lawyer I have ever come into contact with. I came to her based on these reviews, and wish I had looked elsewhere. On two separate occasions, she went to court knowing the other party had not been served. Why go to court when nothing can be accomplished unless you're simply trying to drain the retainer? It was hundreds of dollars wasted. I was also told by her that she would let me know whether I should come to court on another date. I emailed after not hearing anything weeks after and was told to come. I took off work, showed up, and she was not even there. Beyond all common courtesy, I was billed for the subsequent phone calls I made for showing up for no reason that amounted to less than 6 minutes. When I asked that they be removed, the immediate rebuttal was that they forgot $200 in fees on my invoice from months prior, but would be happy to remove the $50. I was also emailed someone else's extremely private DHR document instead of mine. Even after voicing my uneasiness to Wendy, I did not receive an apology. I have never received an apology for this unprofessionalism. I felt like a paycheck, not a valued client. The unethical treatment took an anxiety inducing situation and made it a complete nightmare. I hired her Dec 2017, and after $2,054 of legal fees, have gotten absolutely nothing accomplished.

I hired Ms. Wendy for an uncontested divorce which unfortunately became contested. Wendy was great, patient and attentive. The documents drafted were top notch and I loved that they were sent to me to review each time a document was filed. I would definitely recommend Ms. Wendy.

This lawyer is a joke! He was not reliable or competent in handling my case. It is extremely frustrating when legal representation falls short of expectations, especially when it involves crucial aspects like obtaining evidence for your case. This attorney did not know how to request evidence needed from other agencies. I had to call and get information to inform my attorney how this process works. He continued to assure me everything was being done and we would meet to review the evidence. After waiting five months and spending so much time calling and pleading for information I was even more disappointed when I found out he had never even requested the information. Paying for services that are not delivered in a timely or competent manner is unacceptable. It is important for clients to be able to trust their legal representation to act in their best interests and handle their cases effectively. It is so disappointing that my lawyer failed to fulfill his obligations, leading to unnecessary delays and added stress on my part and had no accountability in this system for his negligence.

This attorney office did not deliver on my court case. It was explained to me I would be represented by Mr. Moore however I was represented by another Attorney. They advised me that we would have to appeal my case to the circuit court without explaining that they would charge me additional legal fees. All fees should have been disclosed upfront if we knew the case was going to be APPEALED. I was sentence to 4 months in jail on 2 Misdemeanor cases. This office did not do a good job representing me. I highly advise you look elsewhere. The office staff needs customer service training. The Legal Aid Misty is very rude and shows no empathy towards their clients. If I could give 0/10 I would. Terrible legal experience

I must express my profound disappointment with the legal representation provided by Mr. Jon Riley at Cooper and Cooper Law Firm. My experience with him in both criminal and civil matters was nothing short of abysmal. While Mr. Riley may come across as amiable, his lack of informativeness and failure to engage in strategic discussions with clients is deeply concerning. Mr. Riley's incompetence became glaringly evident during my criminal court proceedings. He consistently overlooked crucial evidence, failed to advocate for my needs, and displayed a shocking disregard for my desires unless prompted repeatedly. The consequences of his negligence were severe, leading to an unjust outcome that I had to bear. Extremely crucial evidence somehow was just not either in the discovery file or brought up to the judge in court at all, and the sad part is, I still have all of that evidence and it cannot be denied whatsoever. One way or another I will get to the bottom of what has been done to me and my five-year-old daughter, And somehow someway, I will ensure that I hold every single individual involved responsible, It’s just too bad I couldn’t do it through this law firm. I strongly advise against entrusting your legal matters to Mr. Jon Riley, particularly in criminal cases. My interaction with him left me feeling unheard and unrepresented, with a sense of being grossly undervalued as a client. While I cannot speak for the other attorneys at Cooper and Cooper Law Firm, Mr. Riley's performance was subpar, leaving much to be desired in terms of professionalism and dedication to his clients' cases. I even informed Mr. Riley numerous times with the actual up-to-date state statutes and laws of a criminal act that is being committed and has been being committed for the last year and still is and he completely ignored it. He claims to have a good working relationship with Agricola Law, Experience I had with his communication between them was rather strange and very questionable. This law firm claims a “ruling in my favor”? I’m sorry but I’d love to see a case even relatively close to mine where the individual that’s never had a single incident in their life with the law, has a PFA placed on them for a life time (2099). The moment I have that addressed and it gets over turned I would expect a sincere apology from this law firm for being so inconsiderate. I also don’t accept fake apologies. Integrity is far better than making excuses for someone. Can’t control the evidence you have to work with? I provided more evidence than the plaintiff and not once did I see even half of that evidence if any brought forth to the judge. I spoke to the judge myself and he even told me that Mr. Riley submitted the motion for acquittal after the 14 days.. so please tell me where my attorney isn’t to blame there. In conclusion, my experience with Mr. Jon Riley was nothing short of a nightmare, and I caution anyone seeking legal assistance to steer clear of his services.

I was referred to the firm from another attorney and was told that they'd be the best to handle my Worker's Comp claim. From the day I signed them as my lawyers til 8 months later, the communication was HORRIBLE and they started ghosting me. I'd call to speak with someone & they'd leave me on hold til the phone hung up. I'd leave messages & no one would ever call me back. Needless to say they're not representing me anymore. If you do decide to hire this firm, do your homework 1st.
