Rakin Did a great job for us! I deal with insurance all of the time and thought it would be easy to deal with this event. It was a accident where a family member was hit by a car. They were fine after some time in the hospital and the driver was insured so it did not seem difficult! 4 weeks after the event I got Rakin contact information and he took over.
We just wanted the medical bills covered, if I had not contacted him I would have had to pay most of the bills due to the driver lo coverage limits.
I think he saved us 100k!

Rakin Did a great job for us! I deal with insurance all of the time and thought it would be easy to deal with this event. It was a accident where a family member was hit by a car. I had multiple issues with a vindictive woman and we were awarded the divorce (even though the Ex bought suit), We won a Custody Battle when the Ex wanted to pull my children out of state, and the Team just got my Ex to sign a $40,000 2 party IRS check that she refused to sign for 6 months. After my ex-wife and I separated, I contacted Fred upon a referral from a relative. Being separated from my wife and facing a potential divorce was a most trying and emotional time for me. I reached out for a consultation in the Morning Mr. Tortolero called me later that same afternoon. He was very friendly and professional but not like a stuffy professional. I was rushing I thought he is not being paid let me get right to it! It was quite the opposite, I felt like I was his client, he was patient, knowledgeable and extremely honest, transparent and supportive as if I was his client. He was like a cheerleader. He shot me down if he thought my suggestion was not going to fly in court he did not sugar coat things, I appreciated that. He was honest about the cost he did not lie and say oh it will only be x amount and I will have this done in no time. I do not know if I will hire an attorney or not but if I do it will for sure be Daniel A. Tortolero he was like state farm he felt like a good neighbor!!!! I felt like I knew him for years.

I used Sean to help me upgrade my OTH discharge. On our first visit, Sean was extremely professional and caring. He listened to my story with full attention. We went over my medical, mental and personnel records and made a timeline from when I first joined to when I left the service. Eventually, we put together a well designed case to submit to the Naval Discharge Review Board. I was not expecting it, but Sean was able to upgrade my discharge to full Honorable from an OTH. Even after opening up his own firm, Sean stay true and kept me up to date on my case. I cant thank Sean enough, it has been a long journey but I finally got the discharge that I truly deserve. Donne Colton was referred to me by a therapist who provides court testimony regarding the welfare of children in divorce cases. I sought the therapist's attorney recommendations because I wanted an attorney who had earned a stellar reputation for negotiating and writing divorce and custody agreements in the best interest of children, and I got that and much more when I hired Donne to represent me in my contested divorce in 2015-2016. My custody case was extremely complicated and contentious, and Donne did an outstanding job of navigating me through it.
I worked with him and with his excellent paralegal, Margie Madsen, for a solid year. When I was researching attorneys and collecting recommendations, a high-powered attorney connected to a family member of mine sent her an email saying that his divorce attorney "was the best thing about my divorce." I would wholeheartedly say this about Donne and Margie. The divorce was the most difficult, frightening, and stressful experience of my life, and I was continually grateful and glad to have Donne and Margie expertly guiding me through it.
Donne has a great deal of personal and professional integrity. He was everything I wanted in an attorney--he's knowledgeable, an excellent negotiator, very good with the myriad details that divorce entails, always accessible, a terrific writer (he wrote all of the agreements for my divorce), and he represented me very well, in court, in documents, in emails, and in phone calls with my ex-husband's attorney.
He's honest, ethical, easy to talk to, trustworthy, fair, and extremely hardworking. He worked through the night (and into the wee hours) when necessary when we got down to the wire negotiating my custody and property settlements with my ex-husband's attorney, and achieved excellent agreements that enabled my ex-husband and I to settle both matters out of court, without having to leave them up to a trial judge.
These same agreements have helped me navigate challenges I've had with my ex-husband in the many months since our divorce was finalized. The agreements provide a solid foundation for me to refer to, and excellent boundaries for us to live within.
I honestly can't think of any area in which Donne fell short of my needs or expectations. I feel very fortunate that he was able to take my case, as I could not imagine having had a better attorney to work with.

Words really can't describe the level of professionalism and expertise Attorney Wade possesses. I had a nightmare divorce/custody case that carried over from North Carolina for a total of four years. At the time I came in contact with Attorney Wade I was on my fourth lawyer and I spent almost 20k in legal fees. In time, I had become a "professional court testifier" and became very familiar with the legal process. I knew a good attorney when I saw one. I did my research and Attorney Wade had pedigree (which I heavily believe in) and I read several Washington Post articles that she was profiled in. I was impressed. When I had my first consult with Attorney Wade, I knew I struck gold. She was able to listen to my concerns, see the big picture, and she dissected 3 years of my litigation timeline in 45 mins. A tentative gameplan was formulated and the strengths and weaknesses of my case were discussed. We worked together as a team and when it was time to make strategic decisions, she always had a plan in mind and I often agreed with her and we proceeded accordingly. She never blew me off. She responded to my emails and telephone calls within a very reasonable time. Even when she was caring for a sick family member she still found the time to respond. In short, Attorney Wade managed to convince my ex-wife and opposing counsel to a consent agreement that really benefited me and my children. I came to them when my previous attorney withdrawal from my case three weeks before a very challenging and difficult trial.
Right away they responded in an extremely timely manner.
When you are in financial distress and mental stress, it is difficult to think clearly and make good decisions. That, in addition to not understand the legal process complicates matters even more.

Rakin Did a great job for us! I deal with insurance all of the time and thought it would be easy to deal with this event. It was a accident where a family member was hit by a car. They were fine after some time in the hospital and the driver was insured so it did not seem difficult! 4 weeks after the event I got Rakin contact information and he took over.
We just wanted the medical bills covered, if I had not contacted him I would have had to pay most of the bills due to the driver lo coverage limits.
I think he saved us 100k!
