Hands down - hiring Patrick Crawford was the BEST decision of my life. I am eternally grateful for his wise counsel. Gilda became the opening path to my success in divorce. Being a black father that held a great interest in my son I was falsely accused of domestic violence by my ex wife. My ex wife falsely put a restraining order on me in NC which she later dropped to move back to MD. Once visitation was arranged she applied another restraining order on me through MD. Gilda handled the case with grace and got the restraining order threw out by a judge that typically leaned on the women's behalf. Later Gilda fought for me over the phone for NC to retain jurisdiction and won. Great attorney for Black Fathers trying to do the right thing.

Ms. Karpouzian is an excellent attorney she is very smart and honest she always has time to answer my questions, I hired Ms. Karpouzian two years ago for immigration and from the moment i went is she seem very knowledgeable and honest in my specific case at that time I was working with another attorney that wasn't doing much for me as soon as i hired attorney Karpouzian she started working on my case. She is very professional and I feel secure knowing that she will always put me first, I know she probably has tons of clients but every time I go to her office I feel like I'm her only client. She also has the most dedicated and professional staff I feel like family when i call and seek for help. I have to say after just finishing a very long 2 year, drug out divorce from the other side I was more than Blessed to have Kathleen there by my side the entire way. Yes she’s a very busy woman that knows the laws and what’s important and not important. She won’t waste your time on the fluff or the distractions from the opponents. We dealt with a very overbearing other side and she never wavered me in the wrong direction. Is she human, yes and she deals with so many cases at once. She has a job to do and she does it well. I was always impressed that she could remember my case and how to prepare me for it. I think as an individual fighting for your own case, in my case I was fighting for my kids, that was my personal drive and knew I had to stay focused on my case and give her as much detail as I could that would help her fight for me. Surprisingly though her and her team found out things I hadn’t even known about my husband. Pretty shocking but proof that’s she’s always working diligently even behind the scenes as busy as she is. Personally I think the world of Kathleen as a person because she has shown me compassion and shared parts of her life with me that she may never know have changed my heart. Trust her through the process, that’s why we pay the money we do is because she’s dealt with the law for so long. I can’t say that it’s an easy ride dealing with the courts and a raging ex but ultimately she listened to me and fought with me for my kids and I got what was best for them and they are doing fantastic. I will gladly share my experience here, as it changed my life. Without going into dramatic details I am a father who cares very much about my son. Helping him develop into a responsible adult is the most important part of my life. Prior to coming to A Team family law that was going to be a impossible task. The facts are that hiring a lawyer is a expensive adventure regardless of the circumstances but Valerie was more than fair with me when it came to charging me for her time. Ms. Burrows has a temper and while charming at times is frequently unable to control irritable outbursts and personal biases that can have serious consequences on your case in a collaborative or court-based environment. She is not thorough or careful in speech or conduct, and has mad ad hominem attacks on professional settings and in out of court negotiations. This behavior would be sanctioned if the same conduct appeared before a judge. Her conduct breaks court rules, she encouraged parties to file in court, w/ haste and flippantly, rather than focusing on ensuring costs were minimized for the needs of children. She regularly asserted incorrect statements of basic family law, regarding rules of admissible evidence under specific statutes. She has strayed far from several ethical requirements required of attorneys, including acting within the best interest of the children. This is especially dangerous for families of limited means with minor children.

Two years ago my wife and I updated our 30 year old estate documents. Our situation had changed a lot and Nick offered great suggestions on possible ways to do the estate documents after talking about our situation for a while. His team prepared the documents, allowed us to review them and ask questions, then we had a formal signing. Now we wanted a way to do gift giving equitably. After a short consultation, they suggested a way to change the revocable trusts to account for what we wanted. They amended the documents and provided hard and soft copies. There was great communication with them during the original consultation and the modification. I would highly recommend them.

Mr. Keipert is one hell of a lawyer, he has not only help me as a father fighting in court to get custody of my child,but he has also been a teacher to me when it came to a devorce. i could go on for days about how he was their for my legal matters but unlike alot of people he was not and never gave me the impression that it was about money only. i would recommend him to anyone that needs legal help and understanding the the stress it could cause. bottom line is this, if you want a secret law book of knowledge let this man represent you in front of the judge.

Mr. Keipert handled a child custody/visitation modification case for me in which he successfully negotiated a favorable order in which I retained sole custody of my child following a contested move out of state. Mr. Keipert was very upfront and honest with me and thoroughly explained all of my options as well as the likely outcomes. Dawn has represented myself and my children in a family law matter, for the past five years. The only thing that I wound change is getting her to start the process in the first place. I had a previous attorney and my case was just too complex for him. Dawn was able to take it on with no trouble.
Dawn is compassionate towards her clients and she is smart in the court room! She is also honest with you. Basing her information on case law, as opposed to gut, she tells you when she believes something is not going to go your way and why. I appreciate that she does not just tell me what I want to hear and take my money. Instead of stopping there, Dawn has brainstormed and researched ways to resolve our situation, that I had never considered. Ideas that she was certain that she would win in the court room and she has.
Dawn listens to her clients wants and needs, while adding her professional wisdom as well.
