Kari MacDonald is a super hero of sorts. She swooped in and saved the day as she navigated us through a contested divorce. She made what seemed impossible happen-our case was settled outside of court. I was certain I'd never see a dime of child support and wanted to hold my ex acccountable, while being able to stay in the marital home with our children. She drafted a marital settlement agreement that met the unique needs of our family and I am so grateful for Kari and her firm. No detail was left unseen thanks to her knowledge, experience, and forward thinking. I hired Mr. Clif Curry to take on my family law matter with regard to making my permanent alimony a thing of the past. Not only did he get it don, but did it without us having to go to court. I have been a client of Mr. Curry's and known him for over 30 years. He is not only the best attorney I have ever used but his firm has specialists in every area of law. They literally are a one stop shop of any legal issue you may have.
As for his qualifications they are far greater than he shows on his website. He has given so much back to the community. He is consistently involved in philanthropy, local events and one of the best in the community at giving back! Mr. Curry is able to do these things because of the trust of his community and the results of his team!
When Mr. Curry says to “know your rights” he does know them. He is extremely knowledgeable about the law. Keeps himself up to date on new laws and I can assure you that he has the biggest heart of any man. I just would not want to be opposing counsel sitting across the conference table or in a trial. I have witnessed this firsthand and I wouldn’t use anyone but the Curry Law Group. He is not only a trial lawyer, but also has appeared before the Supreme Court.

Mr. Lazaro met with me shortly after my passed away. He explained the probate process and assured me every thing would out in a positive manner. He handled each step court required. Absolutely incredible experience with this firm. From the first moment I spoke to the receptionist to the final day of wrapping everything up, they brought ease and care to the entire process. I felt like I was part of the family and they cared for me beyond measure. It was about so much more than the actual litigation…they went above and beyond the call of duty and handled something that wasn’t even part of my case. One Friday night when time was of the essence, I was given someone’s cell number so that I could reach out over the weekend. On top of everything else, my insurance wouldn’t agree to finish fixing my car, and Mike and Alan took care of it all. Here I am calling from a playground crying and they reassured me that my kids would be in a safe car soon…this isn’t even something that they have to handle but they did. It was like calling my brother to help me out.
They took a really awful life experience and brought so much comfort throughout the process. Their level of expertise in their field was incredible…while I mostly worked with Mike, every single person was at one point involved. Mike Finegan represented me through two car accidents that occurred, where the cases overlapped each other. In 2019 I was left with permanent injuries, and a totaled vehicle. Mr. Finegan and his team helped me through every step of the process. Funds for a vehicle were recovered expeditiously. Unfortunately, this was at a time where I was just starting trade school which is full time hours, while working a job. It greatly affected my ability to work in two physically demanding environments. Fast forward, I had to move back to my hometown due to Covid-19, and his team made sure I was able to receive care as everything re-opened. Due to the nature of trade school, when you miss hours/make up hours this can accrue an additional expense. Upon graduating he helped me navigate this with school admin, and I was able to work out an exemption. As this case was coming to a close I was in another car accident. Once again, a totaled vehicle, and worsening symptoms, this time at the start of my career. Mike was very realistic with what to expect since this was a 2nd accident. Navigating 2 car accidents and treatment for pain (especially in your early 20’s) is not for the faint of heart, but Mike and his team truly put my mind at ease. They answered every question I had, were thorough about every step of the process, and made sure I was confident with every decision I had to make. I felt that I received the care you would get if you were a family member. The last 5 years of my life were incredibly challenging, but I am beyond thankful for the care I received working with Mike and his team. I am happy with the result of how both cases ended, and would recommend anyone going through a personal injury case to choose MIke.

We had an issue pop up the last minute. I called Craig and that night he came to the house. I felt more prepared when he was with me.
Getting through the situation is first and foremost, but money is a part of it. He went above and beyond for my family without charging us as much as he could. And that was just nice. He never took advantage. He was there when we needed him.

After several years of family dispute regarding inheritance/split ownership of my grandparent’s real estate, I hired Mrs. Shaughnessy to help me with my legal advice and partitioning real estate needs. We have to start off by saying the court system is not fair when it comes to dead beat parents. Child services took my children from their mother for various warranted reasons (drugs, abuse, neglect), things that we didnt even know they were going through because they we to scared to tell anyone. We were appointed a court appointed attorney which was horrible and after my first experience with my last lawyer we were very skeptical about hiring a new lawyer. Mara came recommended to us through a friend and I have to say it was the best choice we've made in this regard over the last 11 years. During this whole process of the court and child services giving their mother chance after chance to reunify, making us feel like we did something wrong, and forcing the kids to talk and see their mother when they didnt want to Mara stayed positive. She was there anytime we had a question, needed a meeting, or advice during this 2 year process. We are grateful to say that finally we have full custody, the kids have completed their therapy, and they are happy and doing well in school.

At the start of the year in 2020 and during the start of the scare of COVID19, I had the added burden of defending a divorce petition. After contacting Attorney O’Connor, I felt I was in good hands.

Kristi was referred to me by a good friend when I was searching for the first step on what to do so that my husband could legally adopt my oldest son. My husband had been his Daddy for over 10 years and it seemed only natural to make it official. I asked questions and Kristi answered thoroughly. I cannot express my appreciation for all she did for us. As we are not from this state, we do not have family here, so when I asked her if there was any way we could get started on the paperwork when I could arrange for family to be in town as witnesses, she did not hesitate to accommodate my request. On a Saturday morning, on her day off, she met me and a whole big bunch of strangers at her office for the signing. Kristi was also very patient with us when we ran in to a few hiccups along the way. Those hiccups almost put everything on hold for us, but she was kind and generous to our family and even pushed for an emergency final hearing when my husband received orders to deploy at the last minute.
We are forever in debt to her kindness and professionalism, and aside from what she may think, we can never forget her.

I really can't say enough good things about Bob and his staff. He was the first lawyer that actually spoke with me over the phone to answer some of my questions, this is practically unheard of in this day and age, and based on this conversation I choose to hire him. When I contacted Courtney I was a wreck! She came up with a plan and executed it AMAZINGLY! Courtney will never promise you a win but let me tell you she will fight with every ounce in her to defend you and your rights! If you are looking for a straight forward lawyer that will fight for your best interest within the limits of the law, she is the one for you. I am a down to earth reasonable person, but life happens and I found myself needing a divorce attorney. Courtney came recommended by another attorney. From the moment I meet with her I knew she was my kind of lawyer. Up front, willing to listen but advise within the laws even if not in your favor. I am a let me know type of person there is no grey area for me and she left none. Once she took my case she was always only a call or email away. When in doubt any questions or concerns I had were addressed by her even if not by opposing council. Never a minute of my long over drawn divorce did I feel I was not getting the best defense. I was able to sleep at night knowing that I was in capable hands and that me and my children would get what was right in the eyes of the law and no more. I went through a hard time with a serious addiction that caused me to do things I would never have done if sober, things that could have cost me things I worked hard for (college degree, career, family). Ellis represented me and was there thru the entire process. Before my arrest, during my time in jail, and after my release while fighting my case. He communicated with my family while I was incarcerated and was never hard to get ahold of to get updates or info. If he couldn’t answer a call he made sure to call back soon. He has great relationships with Judges and State Attorneys throughout Hillsborough and Pinellas County (as I had charges in both counties) and was able to keep me out of prison and get me help instead (even though I scored out for almost 7 - yes, SEVEN years in prison! I can’t say enough good things about Ellis. Thanks to him I was able to get help, return to my family and young daughter a happy, healthy person with a job I love and recently bought my first house. I sincerely believe I wouldn’t be here today without Ellis’s help. He’s been doing this for so long, and is so knowledgeable about the law and what to expect, and how to navigate the most desirable outcome. Without a doubt I would recommend him 1,000 times over. Ellis has defended both myself, and my Son against serious Criminal Charges with excellent results.
I have suggested him to defend other people I know against Domestic Violence alegations, as well as DUI charges.
All were very pleased with the excellent criminal defense provided by him.
His fees are reasonable for the quality of Legal Representation he provides.

I have been a client for over 5 years. Wendy is amazing. She walks you through the entire process and looks out for the best interest of your children. She thinks about issues that may arise in the future and tries to include those in the original order so that you don’t have to go back to court multiple times. She is thorough, organized and always responds to your questions quickly. She will tell you upfront what the laws state so going into the court room isn’t a surprise and she tells you what you can expect from a judge in any situation or how it can play out if a case were to go to trial. She doesn’t sugar coat anything and isn’t there to just collect your money, in fact she tells you upfront how much it will cost and attempts to avoid trial to save you money. If you’re going through a child custody case I would highly recommend using this law firm!

I was looking for an ethical, well informed and reasonably priced lawyer and I got all of those things and much more with Ms. Storay. My sister passed away unexpectedly. This kind of law firm should not exist on this planet. They just care about the money. There was no consultation whatsoever and right away charged me for $5500 without knowing what my case is about. Because of them i lost $50000. My wife sent all of her cash onto family members approximately 200,000 nobody cared and then they suggested me to sign the mediation what i regret so much. After the mediation a called 3 lawyers and they said how stupid i am. This lawyer cam only solve non problematic cases maximum but for that u dont need lawyer that is so simple.
