After several years of family dispute regarding inheritance/split ownership of my grandparent’s real estate, I hired Mrs. Shaughnessy to help me with my legal advice and partitioning real estate needs. Even though I live out of state, Mara and staff was always responsive and professional when I reached out for status updates. We have to start off by saying the court system is not fair when it comes to dead beat parents. Child services took my children from their mother for various warranted reasons (drugs, abuse, neglect), things that we didnt even know they were going through because they we to scared to tell anyone. We were appointed a court appointed attorney which was horrible and after my first experience with my last lawyer we were very skeptical about hiring a new lawyer. Mara came recommended to us through a friend and I have to say it was the best choice we've made in this regard over the last 11 years. During this whole process of the court and child services giving their mother chance after chance to reunify, making us feel like we did something wrong, and forcing the kids to talk and see their mother when they didnt want to Mara stayed positive. She was there anytime we had a question, needed a meeting, or advice during this 2 year process. We are grateful to say that finally we have full custody, the kids have completed their therapy, and they are happy and doing well in school.

We had an issue pop up the last minute. I called Craig and that night he came to the house. I felt more prepared when he was with me.
Getting through the situation is first and foremost, but money is a part of it. He went above and beyond for my family without charging us as much as he could. And that was just nice. He never took advantage. He was there when we needed him.

I have been a client of Mr. Curry's and known him for over 30 years. He is not only the best attorney I have ever used but his firm has specialists in every area of law. They literally are a one stop shop of any legal issue you may have.
As for his qualifications they are far greater than he shows on his website. He has given so much back to the community. He is consistently involved in philanthropy, local events and one of the best in the community at giving back! Mr. Curry is able to do these things because of the trust of his community and the results of his team!
When Mr. Curry says to “know your rights” he does know them. He is extremely knowledgeable about the law. Keeps himself up to date on new laws and I can assure you that he has the biggest heart of any man. I just would not want to be opposing counsel sitting across the conference table or in a trial. I can tell you that when I searched for attorneys at a trying time, I was exhausted and frustrated. The legal system is confusing and at times...never ending. Kristi was referred to me by a good friend when I was searching for the first step on what to do so that my husband could legally adopt my oldest son. My husband had been his Daddy for over 10 years and it seemed only natural to make it official. I asked questions and Kristi answered thoroughly. I cannot express my appreciation for all she did for us. As we are not from this state, we do not have family here, so when I asked her if there was any way we could get started on the paperwork when I could arrange for family to be in town as witnesses, she did not hesitate to accommodate my request. On a Saturday morning, on her day off, she met me and a whole big bunch of strangers at her office for the signing. Kristi was also very patient with us when we ran in to a few hiccups along the way. Those hiccups almost put everything on hold for us, but she was kind and generous to our family and even pushed for an emergency final hearing when my husband received orders to deploy at the last minute.
We are forever in debt to her kindness and professionalism, and aside from what she may think, we can never forget her.

I really can't say enough good things about Bob and his staff. He was the first lawyer that actually spoke with me over the phone to answer some of my questions, this is practically unheard of in this day and age, and based on this conversation I choose to hire him. I feel very fortunate to have found an attorney that I feel is trust worthy, honest, fair and has my back. My husband and I created a life together. Two perfect kids, a lovely house, and one dog. When he told me he wanted a divorce my life was turned upside down, until I turned to Mr. Griffin. Courtney will never promise you a win but let me tell you she will fight with every ounce in her to defend you and your rights! If you are looking for a straight forward lawyer that will fight for your best interest within the limits of the law, she is the one for you. I am a down to earth reasonable person, but life happens and I found myself needing a divorce attorney. Courtney came recommended by another attorney. From the moment I meet with her I knew she was my kind of lawyer. Up front, willing to listen but advise within the laws even if not in your favor. I am a let me know type of person there is no grey area for me and she left none. Once she took my case she was always only a call or email away. When in doubt any questions or concerns I had were addressed by her even if not by opposing council. Never a minute of my long over drawn divorce did I feel I was not getting the best defense. I was able to sleep at night knowing that I was in capable hands and that me and my children would get what was right in the eyes of the law and no more. I went through a hard time with a serious addiction that caused me to do things I would never have done if sober, things that could have cost me things I worked hard for (college degree, career, family). Ellis represented me and was there thru the entire process. Before my arrest, during my time in jail, and after my release while fighting my case. He communicated with my family while I was incarcerated and was never hard to get ahold of to get updates or info. If he couldn’t answer a call he made sure to call back soon. He has great relationships with Judges and State Attorneys throughout Hillsborough and Pinellas County (as I had charges in both counties) and was able to keep me out of prison and get me help instead (even though I scored out for almost 7 - yes, SEVEN years in prison! I can’t say enough good things about Ellis. Thanks to him I was able to get help, return to my family and young daughter a happy, healthy person with a job I love and recently bought my first house. I sincerely believe I wouldn’t be here today without Ellis’s help. He’s been doing this for so long, and is so knowledgeable about the law and what to expect, and how to navigate the most desirable outcome. Without a doubt I would recommend him 1,000 times over. Ellis has defended both myself, and my Son against serious Criminal Charges with excellent results.
I have suggested him to defend other people I know against Domestic Violence alegations, as well as DUI charges.
All were very pleased with the excellent criminal defense provided by him.
His fees are reasonable for the quality of Legal Representation he provides.
If you are charged with a crime in Hillsborough County FL, I would highly suggest you seek out a good criminal defense attorney.

I have been a client for over 5 years. Wendy is amazing. She walks you through the entire process and looks out for the best interest of your children. She thinks about issues that may arise in the future and tries to include those in the original order so that you don’t have to go back to court multiple times. She is thorough, organized and always responds to your questions quickly. She will tell you upfront what the laws state so going into the court room isn’t a surprise and she tells you what you can expect from a judge in any situation or how it can play out if a case were to go to trial. She doesn’t sugar coat anything and isn’t there to just collect your money, in fact she tells you upfront how much it will cost and attempts to avoid trial to save you money. I hired Mrs. Chapman for a highly contested enforcement matter. This woman is a superhero! The amount of gratitude I have for how beautifully Stephanie represented and supported me during my divorce is something I cannot express or ever repay. I went through a high conflict divorce that involved young children. Stephanie was the second attorney in my divorce case. My original attorney hired her to represent me when my divorce case went to trial and my original attorney was not available for my trial. At first, I was frustrated that I had no say in who would be representing me at my trial but what a gift she turned out to be. A staff member from another family law office mentioned to me that if they needed a divorce trial attorney, Stephanie Koether would 100% be the one they hired because she is incredible in the court room.
From my first meeting with Stephanie, I felt so comfortable with her and knew that she was passionate about my case. From day one, she began rescuing me in ways I didn’t even know I needed rescuing. Dear Readers over a period of less than one year on a sensitive matter he then handled as an associate at Don Mcbath firm in Tampa; Luke was the primary person on my case. He was very thorough although production and fee oriented due to Don probably...Luke is smart and no doubt very very good and comfortable in court. When we dissolved our agreement with Mr. Mcbath i was put in a very hard place but Luke did take the time at no charge to followup with me and many many years later take my call give me some advise and make a curious refund of $20 to me - odd?
I has aged and become sage v. the associate I first encountered and got a good lesson from a very complicated case and me a devil of a client. I think he is now on the best path.
Realize he is thorough and that will cost but he is smart and efficient, likeable and a gentleman and a good smart business person.
Overall he should become board certified and a mediator - otherwise a very very good man and attorney - and cheap at his then rates...he was a production mill working the other side with a fever pitch. He really was good but his boss not so much and that caused him to have a lot of issues with my case matter.

This attorney will over bill and delay your case. Her general manger is her husband. She will have her husband perform work on a case such as appraise you house and/or perform comps for your home. All billed separately without the client knowing it is her husband doing the work. She will wait till the last minute to prepare for a hearing if at all. She hires her friends to do fiduciary duties for fees without informing the client of possible conflicts. Ingrid will use up retainers just during the internal case handling. When she moved she had to file paper work for each case and billed the clients for each filing even though it was her that caused the notices to be filed the client had to pay for the notice that were filed even though there forms were all the same expect for the case heading. All were billed the same amount. I would say 75% of the good reviews that are posted are from friends and employees that she either asked (friends) or told to post (employees) good reviews. Before hiring this attorney read all reviews. Do a little reasearch on the names. Some are from clients, probably the easy and quick cases. The complicated cases are the one Ingrid will stumble and drag-out for all she can. Just speak with her and you will see she really does not complete her thoughts and expects you to. Ingrid does this on purpose just so she can say you said that not her. Do you research or you will have no one to blame but yourself. I have personal knowledge of the inter-workings of this office.
