On the last days of 2023, I am especially grateful to Andy, who supported and guided me through the darkest days of my life. I was abandoned after 30 years of devotion to the family. Steve Xu Chen not only let me down, betrayed me, but also hid large assets from me overseas! I only want to keep the house but Steve demands me to pay for his share, except that I don't have the money. I was so devastated! I lost my sleeps and dropped 20% weight. When I contacted Andy, he gave me his assertive words, "We will ask", "We shall see", but no fake promises. He was there whenever I needed to dump my thoughts and worries. After 2 years of persistence, we won the house! Now my young adult kids have a home to return, and my parents are celebrating the holidays with us! After working with Corri this past year with my child custody case I've come to recognize her as the voice of reason in my life especially in moments when I am overwhelmed with emotion. She always takes the time to be completely honest about what my situation is and never offers false promises. Both which I believe are extremely important in a client/attorney relationship. I went came into his office with a huge pile of muck. Not knowing what to do because I was blindsided after a 12 year divorce judgment, I felt helpless as no one, and I mean no one, wanted touch my case. It was old, too much clutter and too much work etc., was what I heard. I was really ready to just give up.
One can tell the integrity of a person when you need help: they don't say ' That's a lot of work!' they say 'Lets get this done!' That is Enrico, his staff and assistants worked diligently on my case. They have the 'lets get it done!' attitude: always keeping me abreast of what was needed, returned my frantic emotional calls and emails and quelled my angst on several occasions. It was about business, setting things right and preparation.
After several months of seemingly never-ending back and forth with the opposing counsel and being frustrated with continuance after continuance... when we finally went to trial, Enrico was masterful! He turned every claim around, revealed every lie and restored the original order.
I think the ex new who he was up against and cowered out.
We not quite at the end of the road just yet, but I certainly know I will walk into the courtroom with a confidence I'm not sure I would've gotten anywhere else.

One of my favorite lawyers, though in my case he seemed too busy to work with me at times and delegated too often to rookies, or at times didn't get the paperwork completed which cost me over $50k! I have a respect for him in his ethics(compared to other lawyers as a whole), and amazed at his ability to think on his feet. Quick witted, and sharp. I was screwed by so many lawyers prior and was hesitant to throw money at him when i retained him, maybe he was not giving me the time of day because he was too busy at the time on other bigger famous cases and partially concerned that he would not be fully compensated. In the end there was some disagreement as to payment but i think it was mostly because he did not give me his all and most of the time i felt like i was working with his rookie lawyers who weren't as qualified. it was a self fulfilling prophesy? Had i started with him from day one with no prior bad experiences of other lawyers, and had he been committed to working with me directly, i believe things would have been much better in my case and between us. Still, he is an amazing lawyer and one of the few i truly respect!

As a small business owner that made a terrible honest mistake with IRS taxes, we were referred to Lane Marc Gensburg by our CPA .
After a short call and a reasonable retainer amount of 3k Lane started working on my case, getting information about our situation, we were positive we got the right guy! ABSOLUTELY NOT! This is the type of lawyer you need to stay away from, he transfer our case to Michael Gutting from his office, this guy was a total joke, he made us provide all the paperwork we provide Lane again, and of course he charge us for it again, this time the bill come back more than twice the retainer amount, we immediately called Lane , overwhelmed by the bill amount, Lane told us that the majority of the work was done and we should not get anything significant bills, but of course we did!!! Not only that the bills kept coming he also wasn't informed at all of our case progress, I remember we had a conference call between Michael, Lane and my business partner and he didn't have a clue on what's going on with our case.
Not only he was just a very expensive way to transfer all of our business financial information to the IRS agent, we end up worse then before we hired him, the tax agent was pissed and before his office start working on this case, the tax agent was willing to help us with payment plans and was going to recommend reducing the penalties, but that was not the case anymore.
At the end of the day if Lane was honest with us he should take our case as an adviser and get the CPA that freered us to him to provide the paperwork to the IRS.
Again we are a small business and almost 20k fees are not proportional.

I retained Ms. Fetman for my divorce. It's difficult to know where to turn when you're faced with a divorce. Few of us have any prior experience with the legal ins and outs. I chose her due to her strong track record. Talk about a force of nature! She was extremely professional. She was honest and told me things I did not want to hear. I feel a good attorney gives clients bad news. In divorce cases there is always a good deal of bad news to be given. Ms. Fetman and I got along very well. She was always courteous and throughout my case I was able to trust her. She was realistic, stayed focus on the goal, explained the divorce process, met procedural timelines, always prepared and we had consistent communication. The most important step for me was finding a good divorce attorney that I trusted and liked. I am happy to say I found a competent attorney, she made my life and divorce easier and my case was concluded quicker and and I felt very happy!
