If you need a Strong, No Nonsense, Get It Done kind of Lawyer. She's it. In 2015 my daughter received a newborn Child from Child Protective Services and was to keep the baby for a few days, then months, then a year. Now in 2017 she was ready to adopt. I explained "You don't get a Do Over" in a case like this. We have to be certain that the attorney we choose is Smart, Confident, Direct and Wants to WIN, we didn't want to lose this precious baby. After a few failed meetings, It was now time to sit down with Mrs. Jones. My daughter and I both left with every question we had answered & immediately felt relief. Mrs. Jones took the case and ran with it, overcoming every obstacle thrown at us and there were many. She not only was a Fierce Attorney, she showed our family compassion & made sure we understood every-step we were taking & why. We are now very Proud Grand Parents. It's a good feeling when you can sit down with a lawyer with several years of experience underneath him & he can look at your case & as long as you're giving him factual information he can give you a list of scenarios to the outcome. Not all cases are the same, although Brian Burns strives to give you the best outcome possible based on your case. "He never once told me the case would for certain be dismissed," although that was one option he mentioned as well as several other options I would be looking at. I feel like he wanted me to know that my case could go in several different directions. So he's very honest.
I provided Mr. Burns with the information he asked in order for him to present the case & he worked his magic. The case was indeed dismissed.
I highly recommend Mr. Burns, not only is he great in knowing his profession & what it takes to represent his clients, but his staff is very supportive if you have questions or need anything as well.

john Paul Hopkins and the Hopkins Law Firm did an OUTSTANDING job for me. Mr. Hopkins has a tox expert (Ms. Wendy) that works for him full time. She knows all about the tox stuff and the law related to it. Between John Paul and Ms. Wendy they had every base covered and then some. I can't tell you how awesome it was to watch them in action the day they got my case dismissed. When we got to court for the hearing there were about 4-5 Grimes County SO sitting on a bench waiting to testify against me. They were SHUT DOWN and whatever the law was that John Paul and Ms. Wendy argued, when we left after the case was dismissed ALL of the Grimes Co SO were gone and none of them ever stepped foot into the courtroom. Wendy was recommended to me by a family member who had a son with a similar case. My son got charged with a DWI but he had no alcohol in his car nor in his system. The officer said he had been drinking but had no proof of this. The subsequent video supported this. Anyway, Wendy was on top of this case the entire way and advised my son and myself on the status of the case the entire way. We waited 8 Months for the toxicology/blood results to get back from the state and there was no alcohol found in his blood so the case was dismissed. I didn't quite know what to expect because hiring an attorney can be daunting and sometimes its difficult to know how hard they are working on your case. After 10 months in having her work my sons case, I can confidently and happily recommend Wendy Little as she represented my son strongly and having her on your side in a criminal case is a definite advantage. Highly recommended. Knowledgeable, smart and tenacious.

This was my appointed attorney a few years ago. He was on my case for over a year. Every time I called to speak with him, if he couldn't answer the phone, he always made it a point to call me back in a timely manner. I’ll get straight to the point. This is the worse attorney I could have been appointed to by the court. She was very unprofessional never showed up to any of my court dates, never informed me that she would not be there either. Tried to talk me into taking a plea WITHOUT informing me that my blood results for my DWI case came back MONTHS AGO showing I was under the limit and my case could get dismissed because of that. She hates criticism and when I expressed she was unprofessional she stated I could get another lawyer and she would put in a motion to remove herself from my case….. a case she clearly was not invested in to begin with.
