Kelly and Lorraine are absolutely great! They are realistic and don’t tell you something you want to hear and just hit you with the facts! As a father in a mother back state when it comes to custody battles, she is definitely my choice. Again, she was the only lawyer I have been to that was realistic and didn’t get my hopes up at the verdict. She will be getting my business again!

They literally never answer their phones or sms. law must be a hobby and not a career. They represented my fiance and rarely responded to me, and then i attempted to rehire them, because they are already familiar with the case, and we need paperwork handled to lower his sentence, Ive been calling for 3 days, and still no response. Just lazy. I think ill stick to New York lawyers. I wouldn’t recommend.

Ann Coover was a blessing to my divorce case. Every time i would call her with a concern she would leave me feeling as if the only thing i had to worry about was paying her and she would take care of the rest. By far one of the best attorneys I have ever had. He saved my daughter’s life. He listened and was very compassionate. It’s extremely difficult to find the right attorney who listens and actually shows compassion to their clients. After my first consultation with him I was sold & he was ready to work! I was extremely unhappy with this attorney's performance on my case. She was my court appointed for an assault charge and when I tried to contact this attorney I was passed over to her husband Frank. I got to spend 112 days in jail on a misdemeanor offense and when I requested a bond reduction there was never one requested. When I contacted the jail to request a new lawyer, I was ordered to contact Melissa. I may have spent maybe five minutes with her on the telephone and in the end I lost all of my livelihood.

She is not a blue collar lawyer, she could care less about your case unless you have large assets and sums of money even then I would be skeptical and hate to see what her fees would be. My case was supposed to be fast as I was told it, drug out for almost 8 months. When I called or sent text messages she acted as it was a huge inconvenience, she went on vacation or out of town throughout my case.
I have no children with my ex and I was completely taken to the cleaners, my ex took money from me up to the very last day and I had no say, when it was all done I was not even informed that my divorce was finalized. Read the reviews and do your research.
Worst part is she was recommended by people who do have money and wealth.

Absolutely loved our experience with Melody! She is very efficient -- we inquired with her on a Monday, paid her on Tuesday and papers were served by Friday. (She also had to locate the person so this timeliness shows how efficient she is!) She wasted no time, and SHE personally answers all questions and handles everything herself rather than delegating the real work to her assistants. I hope we never have to hire another family law attorney but in that case... I will always run to Melody Cooper! And anyone needing an attorney for family messiness, I highly recommend her!

I had received Steve Lopez's name from a relative that used him for a family law case. She had nothing but great things to say about his practice. Steve helped me on a custody case. He was very knowledgeable of family law. He would listen to my concerns, explain the law to me, and give me my options. There were times my emotions would run high due to the sensitive dealing with custody of my son, He always lent an ear to listen. He was always prompt and personal in returning my phone calls and emails. He never once gave me some outrages charges. His fee for service was fair and affordable. He never once was demanding about money, He always acted with my son's best interest. I cannot say enough good things about him. He is intelligent, respectful, fair yet firm. You cannot go wrong with Steve as your attorney.

I was in a car accident about a year and half ago and I had never been to an attorney before. I spoke to some attorneys that had been recommended to me by friends and family, but was not quite satisfied with any of them regarding their price and approach to my issues. I continued blindly calling around and finally reached Mr. Steve Lopez. He offered a very reasonable price and sounded genuinely concerned for me and making sure I would be able to get what I was entitled to. During office visits, he explained everything clearly and made me feel as though I was a priority. Other lawyers talked down to me, were very rushed, and wanted to charge very high amounts. Mr. Lopez takes his time and is very knowledgeable and honest. He got me a settlement more than what I expected and now I have a lawyer I trust and that I will stick with. I recommend him to everyone.

Let's put it this way , I paid in full for my divorce but didn't get a full representation, why do I still need to hire another attorney to divide assets, full Discovery of assets were available, but no language was even put into the divorce decree . "QDRO" Qualified Domestic Relations Order is still needing to be done , back into court to amend my divorce decree. I'll tell you why ! If I could give him a 0 I would. I had a legal plan that allowed me a lawyer. Tried to file fir a divorce. Paid him $425 but only $350 made it to clerk. In 2 months he has done nothing but file a blank divorce with no info regarding our assets . He spelled my name wrong and instead of correcting it he put the correct spelling as an a.k.a. He refuses to provide any receipts. Didnt even serve my ex. This is by far the most dishonest person I have ever dealt with. When I did call him out for being a liar and thief I was threatened with a slander lawsuit. Please Google him before wasting your money. I am so disappointed with the lack of morals and character of this person. Glad to be rid of him.

Mr. Jimenez was horribly unprofessional in the handling of the case. He never took responsibility for his actions and did not do his part in ensuring that the case would be handled effectively. The lack of communication throught the case was disrespectful and unprofessional. He was argumentative outside of the courtroom with accusations on personal issues unrelated to the case, and inside the courtroom he was disruptive with the same attitude. Instead of fighting for the case, he was fighting against it. I would not recommend this man for any reason, he is the absolute least qualified lawyer in Corpus Christi.
