Mr. Comunale is an excellent attorney and I highly recommend him to anyone facing a child custody/divorce case. He worked a miracle for my children and I. He was my third attorney in my 4 year divorce/child custody case battle. I came to him desperate with what appeared to be a hopeless situation. Unfortunately, I had two professional custody report recommendations against me at the time and it appeared that the writing was on the wall and I was going to lose custody of my children. The best I thought Mr. Comunale could do was to minimize the damage of what had already been done. Just the exact happened. It is hard to believe, but with two professional custody report recommendations against me he went into trial professional, prepared, and determined to win the case and he did! He went the extra mile and produced not only a positive outcome but the ultimate conclusion of gaining child custody for me. In my opinion, and after hiring other attorneys, Mr. Comunale stands apart and above other Dayton attorneys. It won’t take long for you to realize that you’re dealing with someone who rises above the rest. He was the only lawyer that showed interest to take my call after his paralegal put my call through with the same information I gave everyone else I called. He put his heart into his work every step of the way and he humbly showed he really cares. When he was out of the office with a family member in the hospital he didn’t hesitate to return my email. I could just feel he was motivated from the start to do what is right with respect to my legal issue. If law was an exact science we wouldn’t need a lawyer. His understanding of how the law nuances pertained to my case almost made me feel his thinking is one with the court and as a result landed me on the best shade of gray in this not so black and white world of law. Coincidentally, unbenounced the opposing lawyer had represented me in the past and I could see all along the respect they had for one another which is always useful when finding the best possible outcome which may involve some type of compromise. It was a whole experience not only on an interpersonal level but with everyone involved within his firm from the lawyer working under him right down to the paralegal and not to mention with the unobjective court as it pertained to my case. I can’t imagine having any better possible outcome if given the opportunity to choose any high profile lawyer.

I hired Miller for an appeal. His appeal lacked the grounds that was mentioned in the notice of appeal. It is my opinion that his quality of performance was extremely poor. Miller did not return my phone calls after he was paid. Office staff were rude. It is my recommendation that anyone seeking legal advice or counsel seek elsewhere.

I’ve dealt with a few attorneys int he Dayton area, and Mr. Miller was easily the best one. Michael was in constant contact with me throughout the entire process of reinstating my license. My family and I have a very complicated legal matter and a long road ahead. Mr. Rigg is Standup Lawyer. He has restored my trust in lawyers. The first time we spoke was a Friday afternoon. He informed me that he wanted to do further research before giving me any advice pin how we should proceed. I surely thought I wouldn't hear back from him until the following week if I heard back at all. I was completely off, he returned my call at 5pm on a Friday. Not only did he have great answers he is following up with me again this week to give me an even better idea on how to proceed. I can't thank him enough for his advice and helpfulness.

Benjamin Rigg helped my husband and I with an issue we had with our landlord. He sent a letter on legal letterhead and provided legal advice on what our next steps should be in small claims court. He was very responsive to our questions, and would research to get any answers he didn't already know. We'll be going to him for our Wills soon.

I can't say enough good things about Jeff!! I had a horrible experience with my landlord - my apartment flooded and they refused to return my security deposit. Jeff was able to help me get out of my apartment the right way, and fought for me to get much more than my original deposit due to the delay and other issues. His paralegal is amazing too! My lawyer and his paralegal Laura were simply amazing. I was in a time crunch with garnishments coming out of both me and my husbands paychecks and they worked so hard and rushed getting our paperwork done to stop out garnishments in the same week! They communicated every need they had and everything with detail on what we still needed to provide to them in a very timely manor and even offered to meet with us on the weekend to make sure all paperwork could be filed asap. I can’t say enough great things about my experience with this office, I appreciate their amazing assistance.

If I could give her 0 stars I would. She shouldn’t be practicing. She goes where the money is and who paid her. She was terrible. She meet with me for maybe 20-30 minutes and only cared if I owned my home, how much it cost, how much money I made, and my job title. She had no interest in me as a mother. Now my child is living with a herion addict uncle and a pill popping and pot smoking grandmother. All because they have hand me down money. I am suing and filing many complaints. The injustice needs to stop and they need to start doing what’s in the child best interest.

Mr. Kruse was always straight with me on my options. I first met with him when considering divorce and I didn’t follow his advice and failed to file sooner. So I hired him when I needed to fix things. He understood my case and my concerns and continued answering questions after our case was closed. He took ownership when his paralegal made a mistake (her replacement was great!) and he dealt with abuse and drama from my ex’s attorney with complete professionalism. I hope I don’t need to, but I’ll hire him again if I need further action on our latest decision.

Brian started out strong for the first month... talked a big game. He then stopped replying to emails and phone calls for several weeks. He was supposed to file two motions but never did.... didn't care that my wife was not allowing me to see my son. Was also charged for work and time that wasn't done.

I met Brian last year, and the circumstances of my case were very hard and difficult to deal with. Let me say this, Brian was easy to work with, felt like he had my back from the day I retained his services. Let me give you a piece of advice when dealing with Brian, always tell the truth no matter what. If you give this man and his firm the truth and information he will fight for you and do the best job he can! I never lied to Brian i told him the truth about everything. He assured me over and over to trust him and while sometimes it was hard, Brian and his firm knew what they were doing. He assured me it was a marathon and not a sprint but to stay the course. It was the longest 12 months of my life but being a religious man and having Faith in God and in Brian I knew that I would be okay. As opposing counsel and my ex tried to use false restraining orders to gain the upperhand over and over, Brian tore them up and showed the truth! The thing that I admired about Brian that you don't see hardly anymore is that he would never take a shortcut or lie to gain the upperhand. He did it the old fashion way, hardwork and using the truth! He never once tried to take a fast shortcut to gain the upperhand, he just assured me that we needed to trust the system, and show the truth and put the work in and everything would be okay! Again easy to work with him and to set a plan. As time went out and Brian and I were able to show the truth to the court and the parties involved appointed by the court it was deemed that I should be awarded full custody and that I had the best interest for the children. That's my story in a nutshell, and to tell you where I came from and where I ended up Brian and his firm worked their tails off and got me custody of my kids! Their was times I spoke to Brian at 11 pm at night to have my mind put at ease or to go over my case, sometimes on the weekends, he always returned calls and emails. As a matter of fact my mother just passed away and after the custody and divorce was over he still reached out to me to let me know that he was sorry for my loss. I haven't had a lot of dealings with lawyers but I assure you of this he cares about his clients and he fights for them! I went from only being able to see my children based off lies from my ex to getting full custody as he fought hard for me. While I may sound like a broken record here, I am trying to show you the reader who may be looking for a lawyer that will fight for you, Brian is the man that you need to use! Thank you so much for your help, your partnership in walking with me as it was the hardest time of my life, but thank you! I am very thankful and when I looked you in the eyes and shook your hand I meant what I said! You took care of me like family, I won't forget that! I hope you nothing but the best, and hopefully I won't need you again but if I do, I know that I got the truth on my side and a lawyer and firm who will fight to win for my children and myself!

I used to work for DGM&S before moving out of state in 2008 to join a family practice in West Virginia. During my time there I saw daily how hard the team works for its clients, always trying to help them through a bad time which was not wanted and certainly not expected. Since moving I have continued to keep in touch with many there and continue to consider them my friends. I have co-counseled cases with them and referred clients to them for help over the last 16 years. I had two separate cases with her at one time. The outcome for one was BS. The other case she did very little and she used the money for the other case. She failed to keep me updated on the time and money spent. I finally receive it after requesting it many times. Now I owe more?! She is a joke of an atty and don't know how she is still one. She's rude, she does not return calls, you can't get ahold of her, she's worthless! I will NEVER refer her to anyone. I didn't even want to give her a star.

I went through heather for my divorce . And honestly I didn’t really need a lawyer just guidance on filing out the paperwork . I knew my ex wasn’t going to appear so there wasn’t going to be a fight . I paid heather in full up front . After 8 months I finally got a court date . Due to covid I understood that . My divorce has been final since October and I am now getting notices from the court that my filing fees haven’t been paid . I contacted another party from her office who adviced me it would be taken care of immediately, however obviously it wasn’t because I have now received another notice and just contacted the courts to learn it still haven’t been taken care of . I don’t even care that she didn’t appear at court and sent another lawyer in her place . Like I said there was no real need for a lawyer in my case . But atleast make sure my filing fees that I have already paid are taken care of . I have messaged many times in regards to this matter and have received no response .

I was assigned Keith A. Fricker through the Xenia District attorney's office as a public defender, and my experience with him was far from satisfactory. Initially, there was a communication breakdown, but this was due to my changing contact information rather than his negligence. However, once we did get in touch, I found Keith to be overwhelmingly unprofessional and dismissive. He has a very rushed demeanor, which came across as him being disinterested in my case and my circumstances. Despite known logistical challenges, such as transportation issues, he had no empathy or understanding, which resulted in him ridiculing me for being late to my court date. Keith's attitude was outright despicable; he spoke in a manner that was highly disrespectful and condescending. At times, he made me feel as if he doubted my mental capacity, despite my ability to articulate my situation clearly. Furthermore, this was all before we had even met face-to-face to discuss my case adequately. His behavior made me question whether there were underlying racial biases affecting his interactions with me. Counsel from the courts replaced my original lawyer with Keith at the last minute, and I am still baffled by this decision. He barely took the time to understand my side of the story, and instead, his primary focus was on pushing me to accept a guilty plea. This lack of genuine interest in my case and his failure to explain the full spectrum of my legal situation left me feeling unsupported and misrepresented. In conclusion, I would not recommend Keith A. Fricker for any legal representation, especially in criminal cases. His lack of respect, understanding, and basic professional decency makes him unworthy of trust in such critical legal matters. I plan to explore options to appeal my case, as I believe the outcome was unjustly influenced by inadequate representation. If you're considering Keith Fricker for your defense or any legal issues, my advice would be to rethink and seek a more accountable and respectful attorney. Your legal representation should fight for you, not against you.

Ms. Sellars was my attorney in a criminal case. I desperately needed her to file one Motion that was very significant in the case. She ttok an eternity to actually file the Motion and then she did not follow up properly. Mrs. Sellars would never return my phone calls, was very rude and unprofessional. She always spoke to me in a very condescending tone..despite the fact I am college educated. Having Ms. Sellars as my attorney was a horrible experience.

You will not meet a better attorney than Jay Adams. He is honest, up front and gets the job done every time. He is direct to the point and very straight forward. Pat hands down Jay Adams is the best attorney I have ever dealt with. He doesn't lie he tells it like it is he's very open about your case to you letting you know what to expect. I have used him over 30 years it started out with a divorce and child support and whatever bull my ex-husband tried to pull Jay fixed it 100%. I have had two of my sisters go to him as well as two friends and one guy for a divorce that was in the military and honestly I can't tell you what else. Jay Adams is worth every penny he charges and whether he likes it or not he is my attorney for life. If she is appointed to your case as a Guardian Ad Litem, I’d recommend your attorney request another one. She was nearly impossible to get in contact with (emails nor phone calls), and she literally waited until the night before her report was due to write it.
She saw me interact with my child that I had not seen for a year for only a short period of time (not enough for a decision of this magnitude), and left out or didn’t go into depth about important factors of the case in her report, such as evidence I had shown her.
When I met her, she spoke of her job as a realtor and how she was dealing with a client rather than discussing my case. If you research her you’ll see that she has other interests and it is my opinion that she uses this as quick side money. She gets paid $2,000 upfront and does a few hours of work at most while just quoting whatever you say to her in her reports to fill the pages to make it look like she did her job.

If I could give less than one star, I would. As an "impartial" guardian ad litem, she outright LIED in her report to the court. Lied. I'll stand by that. She is not impartial, and I find it no coincidence that she tends to favor fathers as does the magistrate who appointed her. Be wary around her.
