I reached out to Eboni for assistance with communicating with the courts about fines and fees I received over 10 years ago. I now live out of state, so it would cost a ton of money to fly back and forth from Ohio to NC to remedy my situation and it is affecting my privileges to drive, she got back to me promptly with detailed information on what I needed to do to handle the situation. I had multiple driving infractions in two different counties and she was able to get most of the charges against me dropped. She communicated with me very effectively and made sure I understood what to do. She is affordable and saved me a lot of time. 10/10, definitely recommend.

I retained Ms. Nicholson's services last month after receiving a traffic ticket in Durham. It was the first citation I had received, and so was uncertain as to how to proceed. Ms. Nicholson, her partner, and the rest of her staff were all very professional and answered all of the questions I had. They put me at ease, and I worried much less about the situation after our conversations.
Ms. Nicholson was able to get the traffic case dismissed in this specific instance, and I could not have been more happy with the outcome. However, even if the result had been different, I would still recommend her firm due to her professionalism and transparency throughout the process.

I recieved a letter from the DMV in relation to an incident with my monitech device. I got the letter for DMV court on Monday and called Meredith the same day and she made time to have a meeting with me that same day as well as go to the hearing with me that Friday. She was amazing I was so frazzled About goin to a DMV hearing. Meredith sat down with me we talked about the events that lead to the incident and she really made me feel comfortable and gave me the confidence I needed to prove my case and keep my license. Kathy Richardson got my speeding ticket reduced significantly, and handled every aspect of the process with mastery. Nicole is a compassionate, kind, smart person who (almost literally) held my hand through my divorce. I didn't want to get divorced, but once that was decided, I knew I wanted it to be done with kindness, empathy, and without trying to best anyone. My former spouse and I were able to navigate the divorce process easily with help from Nicole. I have sent at least 6 friends to her and they were all pleased as well. I hired Paul in 2015 to handle my divorce case. It turned out to be far more adversarial than I thought going in.
He was very good at explaining situations to me in ways I could early get and offered good solutions to the issues that came up. One example was the custody evaluator he got the other side to agree with concerning my child. Over the course of the case it was clear that his judgment was spot on as her testimony in court was one of the key factors in the judge making the determinations he did which meant joint legal and visitations which had been severely curtailed to get back to a more reasonable schedule.
I would recommend him to anyone looking for an amicable divorce because he is very solution oriented. However if things go differently than expected, he'll be there for you as well.

Steve got me out of a really hairy mess with me x. He reacted very quick to a tinderbox situation and saved my hide. He’s quick on his feet and if your going before a judge that’s what you need. He skillfully used the “object” motion many times and got me the outcome I desired. Even fought for me when opposing attorney Kelly Fairman tried to manipulate the order given by the judge. We had to go back to court 3 more times to get it write.

This law firm is amazing on so many levels. I'll try to make this short. I received a height/weight violation ticket. I received this citation in my work truck (I have a CDL) so my driving record is crucial to my well being, it's how I take care of my children. I had an opportunity to get a better job but couldn't because of the violation. I didn't know what to do because I'd never received a ticket in a commercial vehicle so I paid for a ticket removal service. I didn't realize the price I was quoted was just to get in the door and I would have to pay more because my case wasn't simple. The lawyer at Mufuka contacted me and I explained my situation to him, he was honest about the challenges I faced and also about what the cost would be, but he then went above and beyond to give me much needed information so that I could attempt to solve my citation on my own just due to the cost of the process to remove the citation. I was also in a hurry for this to be completed. I followed his directions and I was able to get my citation dismissed myself this morning 8/26/24!!!!
He was courteous, professional, polite and honest about the possibilities. He helped me more than he realized and I'm grateful to have been referred to his law firm even though I eneded up not using them, I could have never gotten this taken care of in such a timely manner without his advice. In the fall of 2022 I discovered that my husband of over 35 years was cheating. A knowledgeable friend recommended that I engage Ms. Woodmansee. Unfortunately dealing with an absolute mess with my health insurance after Matt Burkert overpaid a subrogation claim for health insurance claims that were not related to my car accident at all.
I have emailed and called with no response from Matt, and have spent hours with health insurance trying to get my money back. Matt's communication was spotty during the process of working through my personal injury claim, but when he didn't respond to my 3rd email, this time asking for a response within 24 hours or I would submit a claim to the NC Bar, I knew he was just ignoring me.
I was happy to get a settlement after the accident, but dealing with this issues has added so much unnecessary stress. It would have been easily avoided if Matt 1. had me review before paying subrogation and/or 2. reviewed the medial records he had from the accident.
There is not one part of me that wants to make a bad review but unfortunately Matt has absolutely ghosted me after making an error, and I think his future clients should know.
