Unfortunately, I've had to use Renee Lee far too many times. First, for my divorce from 2012-2014 and many instances since. She is reliable, determined, and committed. She has done a fabulous job every time that I've had to use her. She almost got me 50/50 custody of my son. I have him 12 days out of 30, and all holidays and school breaks are 50/50. I highly recommend her.

I contacted Jack to ask for help with my Support Modification. After talking through the details and asks of the petition, Jack laid out the process in front of me to make sure I was prepared for all outcomes. The entire team quickly jumped on some immediate needs and scheduling to make sure I had the right support to put my best case in front of the judge. We had several hurdles to deal with as well as an impending trial date, but I felt like the entire team rallied around me to get me prepared. Josh and I worked together over several sessions to create a fair strategy and proactively address the key issues. In what was supposed to be my trial date, Josh quickly jumped on an issue that perhaps the judge had not reviewed key submissions and requested a continuance to make sure everything was considered. That instinct proved to be correct as the judge had not reviewed everything and while that pushed a decision out, it was the right move. I would use Jack, Josh and the entire Berner team in the future.

My family came to Jack's Law office with quite a burden on our shoulders and a lot of confusion on how best to move forward. After a few consultations we decided to move forward with his services and I can tell anyone that it is 100% the best move we could have made. We ended up requiring his representation twice and came out on top both times. While I know, and it was clearly communicated to me that there are never any guarantees, I can confidently state that were it not for Jack's thoroughness, understanding of court procedure and strong ability to communicate evidence clearly, things may have gone very different for my family. I was referred to Cathy from a friend years ago. I called her in an emergency child custody situation. After a phone discussion she met me at the courthouse the morning of trial and stood up and won a temporary child custody order. After we had a chance to get to know one another I learned Cathy is very honest and hard working. She helped me win custody and saved myself and my kids from a bad situation. Being forced into an unwanted divorce situation, I asked our business attorney's for the best recommendation they could give me (Lasher Firm in Seattle) and it was Mr. James Shipman. I can't say enough on how excellent Mr. Shipman has been as well as his staff in handling me as well as the divorce situation. He has been kind and understanding as well as very thorough. The cost(s) involved was far better than I expected. He was very fair to both my ex wife and myself during the mediation process and gave me excellent advice through out. I can not recommend this gentleman enough as I will recommend him to any one that needs help as such. He gives attorney's a GREAT name!

James handled our custody mediation case. From the start he was straightforward with us about the probable outcome. He laid out the risks but also what the likely hood of gaining out desired parenting plan was in modification. His expertise in this field is hard to come by, and being able to trust what advice he was giving gave us piece of mind of a very uncertain time. His experience in mediation was helpful to help walk is through what to expect and we believe it's because of him that we were able to come to an agreement outside of a trial setting.

I met Stephanie the day after severe car accident in February 2016. At the time I had no idea how badly I was injured . The first thing Steaphine advised me to do was be treated. I wrote to Lorna at the end of my 2.5-year custody battle - "Words are inadequate to express my gratefulness", and it's true. Lorna has been on my side for that long, not only as my counsel, but to me, also a friend, and a mentor.
I remember talking to a dozen attorneys who all turned down my case because of its complexity - a divorce that invovled domestic violence, dependency, immigration, and relocation - yet Lorna was the only attorney that took genuine interest in my case, and she did not even charge me for our first 2-hour consultation. She actually read through over 3000 pages of my dependency case. She always responds promptly, sometimes even after office hours, she is thorough and detailed, insightful and empathic. She remained a delightful spirit despite my ex's constant threats, harassment, and accusation directed at her.
Even though I could not continue to afford her representation toward the end of my case, and chose to represent myself in a 3-day trial, she guided me through every step to make sure I was prepared and capable. And I won, even with some extra icing on the cake I did not expect. The judge said he has not seen anyone go pro-se without an attorney and could carry out the whole trial like I did in his 14 years of experience, but I credited Lorna for her guidance. I hired Mr Weinzierl for help with long term payment issues and child support for my son about to go to college. I am nearly 10 years post divorce with an abuser who will not stop for nothing. Rob is really calming when the ex triggers the PTSD. He knows things are upsetting but he guides with what feels like a bit of love and logic. If you have ever dealt with a truly pathological person you know how crazy they can make a legal case. There is almost nobody who understands the abuse dynamics in family law. I am proclaiming this loudly- Rob Gets It!! My case isn’t done yet but I am so happy Rob has not given up fighting for what’s right. I can’t recommend him highly enough!!

This is actually a tough review to write because truly I have appreciated so many things about Emily and her team. Some things that come to mind are that she would always encourage me kindly and professionally not to waste my time, effort, and money on a battle that I would not win. That being said, when there arose a time that she knew there was something I was passionate about she was always ready to go to bat for me. Another thing I loved about her was her and her office teams attention to detail, my documents always ended up looking very professional and free of typos and although I am a strong writer, Emily is also a strong writer which really helped get the story that needed to be told out there. Emily is truly a unique individual; she is personable and friendly and honest and kind; qualities that can be tough to find in an attorney. I suggest that you learn to trust her implicitly as getting through family litigation issues is stressful enough as it is. Emily Hahn has represented me in two cases, one of which we are still involved in. First, she helped me get a protection order. This was one of the most difficult times in my life. I hired Emily from day one she worked on my dissolution case and my dvpo case she is a true hard working and dedicated professional. After searching for my first Lawyer, and speaking with three different Lawyers, Mr. Pautler was firm, upfront, and did not beat around the bush. Out of all the Lawyers that I spoke with, Mr. Pautler told it like it was. I knew I wanted to hire this lawyer for my first lawyer. Once, hired, Mr. Pautler exceeded what I had first asked him for help with. He told me in order to fix my problem, certain steps had to be taken. With his help guiding me to follow required criteria, he not only help me fix my problem, but also helped me re-establish contact of lost loved ones. Mr. Pautler was very respectful, curtious, and told me "how the law" sees it. When my problem was solved, he told me so and ended our interaction in an appropiate manner to end the billing. I would recommend and encourage you to hire Mr. Pautler as your Lawyer. I see no need for me to seek out another Lawyer for myself, I will continue to seek counsel from him when ever I need a lawyer for myself. Russ, in short, is a wonderful man and lawyer. Not only did he take the time to get to understand me as a person, he did a great job with my legal needs. His approach worked well. Neil is amazing!
Prior to hiring Neil, I had worked with 2 other attorneys for a total of 6 months & my experience was that the (other guys) had actually caused my legal experience to be prolonged by not being prepared, not being able to be reached quickly enough & not providing legal advice that would squash problems immediately (which led to them making a ton of $ off of my ignorance & I had to use all the equity in my home to pay them). When I called Neil, I asked him to be my “bodyguard,” & wow, he followed through! There were times I asked him to provide responses to CPS that were so aggressive, that I thought for sure he would say no; not the case-he delivered statements that sent CPS back to hell. Being nice is not the way to go in these types of cases. Hardball, minimal/vague statements & protecting your rights is the only way to escape unscathed. On one particular day, government workers showed up at my door while I was not home; I emailed Neil & asked him to meet me there & he dropped everything to make it to my house within 15 minutes for me to cooperate with the workers, without my rights being violated through a private interview that could be used against me without an attorney present to be expert witness to my statements & to jump in quickly on concerning subject matter. He was always prepared & available at all times of the day/weekends due to the emergency nature of the attack I was under. His quick, calculated responses to these sick/twisted government workers/criminals is what saved me & my family’s lives. We are forever grateful to Neil.

I hired Neil and his team over a year ago to help me with custody of my daughter. As a male asking for fully custody it an up hill battle. But with Neil's excellent approach and guidance I was awarded full custody. Neil had been responsive, respectful, knowledgeable, and understanding throughout to whole case. I heard of Sabrina through a divorced moms group on Facebook. I sent her an initial email to request a meeting, but had already met with and retained a lawyer before I heard back from Sabrina. I decided to meet with her since she had been recommended.
What I really liked about Sabrina (even though I had already signed on with my lawyer) was that she was so straightforward and she heard my whole story through. I like that she asked for a background from beginning to end and she actually listened and provided honest feedback throughout.
She has a wonderful and friendly personality. I really enjoyed talking to her, and didn't feel judged, mocked or looked down on.
Divorce is a difficult process and she explained everything. I left feeling that she really takes care of those she represents and has their back.
Before I left she printed out a form for me to sign for the response to the petition and urged me to file it ASAP so I didn't lose any of my rights.
I ended up going back to her for a final review of my final divorce papers after my lawyer made updates. I just wanted to make sure everything looked reasonable and nothing was missed since I have a daughter and didn't want to miss or make any mistakes.
Sabrina met with me, even though I was running late. She never made me feel rushed and went through the paperwork with such detail. She ended up making lots of great changes that made me feel so relieved and grateful that I had come to see her.
Even though I had already retained another lawyer, my two appointments with Sabrina were enough that I felt she deserved an excellent review.
I would not hesitate to seek her advice and think I would have done really well with her as my lawyer. I would not hesitate to recommend her to others based on the advice she had given me.

When I first meet Jennifer in her office I was a nervous wreck. I had already served my children's mother with divorce paperwork and was trying to get custody of our children myself. The decision to make some changes to better my children’s and my life was important and had to be done. Once I got my children's mother's response I lost confidence and needed help. Jennifer and her team helped me resolve several post-divorce issues that came up two months before my last support payment to my ex. During my initial interview, Jennifer grasped the whole scenario within minutes, and before the end of the interview she gave me three possible ways to respond. In the end, we won in court on all three issues. After that, I used Jennifer and her team to tie up some more loose ends pertaining to my divorce. When I found Michael, I had just been fired by my second attorney, in a very complicated, difficult, and high stakes divorce case. I first start off by saying that Jack D. Clark is definitely the type of attorney one would hope to be referred to. I feel pretty lucky that I was referred to him myself. Deane worked with us on our son's independent adoption. There were some complications with the birth father but those were worked out in a timely and efficient manner. From the time we first met to the finalization of the adoption was 4 months. It would have been 4-6 weeks had it not been for the paternal termination of rights.
What I liked best about Deane was his communication and professionalism. Whenever I talk to friends who have adopted through agencies, they describe a long and drawn out process and inattention from lawyers and social workers. Our experience was exactly the opposite. We are very happy that Deane was referred to us and served us well.

Ms. Halbert was the lawyer assigned to my now-adopted, then foster daughter when she was in state dependency. Ms. Halbert was incredibly engaged and went out of her way to advocate for my daughter's wishes, including driving multiple hours to meet with her briefly, and pushing against DCYF when their wishes contrasted with that of my daughter. I would absolutely want her representing me, or any child, if I had the option to choose.

I came to be represented by Josh Camp after firing my initial legal representative (an LLLT). To say I was jaded and burned by my first legal representative would be an understatement, but Josh rose to the occasion and exceeded all expectations.
From day one, my divorce was high conflict but Josh has handled every scenario with professional ease. He has been highly communicative every step of the way, even contacting me on an occasional weekend if the issue was urgent (fortunately, this didn't happen often). While he's been phenomenal during the entire process (a high compliment given how challenging things have been), it was how he represented me during mediation with my ex and his lawyer that truly impressed me. Our mediation took 10 hours, and by hour 8, it seemed that the mediation might not work out and we would head to possible trial. However, Josh knew the position was was standing firm in and helped me achieve a fair and equitable settlement. He has ensured complete thoroughness, including walking me through word-for-word the settlement document drafted during mediation.
I also want to note that while his job was to be my attorney during divorce, which he did so to the highest professional degree, Josh also showed his human side though care and compassion. He didn't shy away from constructive feedback, but did so with the best of intentions and I truly appreciate that.
The entire law firm is "on it", working as a cohesive unit even when several different paralegals also touched my case. No stone was left unturned, and at the end of an arduous journey, I am left thankful for how Berner Law Group and Josh Camp represented me. I had literally called every attorney practicing family law in Snohomish County. Jody Studdard was a referral from the very last attorney, who was going on maternity leave. All the previous attorneys I had called either would not take on a multi-state child custody case or had an astronomical retainer, which was out of reach for a single mom living in Alaska. Not only did he take my case, but his retainer was a fraction of all the others I had contacted. I thought, this was either going to be a really good thing or a really bad thing.
It was the best decision of my life! He took on a rather difficult child custody case involving three states, WA, TX & AK. There were some challenges, like getting papers served to the defendant on Fort Lewis. Jody was very organized before he presented the case before the Judge, so much so, that the judge cut off the defendants attorney and made a ruling in favor of the plaintiff, due to overwhelming facts presented by Jody.
I never met Jody Studdard, but I will NEVER forget what Jody did for me in 2003. He was truly my last hope. I am writing this review 17 years later. He forever changed the course of my life and my son’s life in a such a positive way I will ALWAYS remember.
