Tristan came across very sympathetic and caring during our first meeting when I was deciding to hire her or not. After that it all went down hill. During my legal separation she made many careless mistakes filling out paperwork and when mistakes were pointed out she was rude and short tempered. At one point she even sent me word documents and told me that I should make the corrections myself. She charged for time that she used to make corrections and withdrew as my representative before the final paperwork was even delivered to me. I had to hire another attorney to complete the work. I would highly recommend that you look elsewhere for representation.

HIRE JULIE CAPUTO with Port Gardner Law Group!!
October 2024 - I was fortunate enough to be referred to Julie by another attorney a year ago. She was the 3rd attorney I had met with and she was able to see me on very short notice within 48 hours. Immediately, she put me at ease. After our initial visit, I already felt a huge weight had lifted. I was very glad that I had not already retained an attorney at that point. Right away, I felt Julie was "the right one". She was sincere, compassionate, caring, and I could tell she was smart. She immediately took control and told me what I needed to do in order to assist with the case. I hired her right then and left the meeting feeling as if I was in capable hands - and rightly so. On very short notice, Julie and her team were able to frame and present my case which secured a positive outcome at the temporary orders hearing-- for me to be awarded primary custodian of my children and to be able to temporarily remain in the family home. For the past year, Julie has worked diligently through numerous obstacles and challenges from the opposing party while maintaining a high level of courtesy and professionalism to all parties throughout the process. I am very pleased with the outcome and so glad that I chose to trust Julie during this process. Some attorneys are "sharks", or overly aggressive. I would say that Julie is assertive, fair, smart, careful, and very knowledgeable about the law. John Rosecrans (and his awesome team!) helped me through the most difficult time in my life. To John, it's about doing the right thing and making sure I am supported and properly informed of my options at every turn. Deeply unprofessional and discriminatory conduct from Theresa Lorella and this firm. Unethical law firm that refuses to provide an itemized receipt. Ms Lorella sold herself as being capable of the most difficult divorce settlements but after 3 months and tens of thousands of dollars later she was incapable of doing even the bare minimum such as get my non marital personal property back. Ms Lorella also engages in bigoted behavior and when her firm disciplined her for the matter she quit the next day in retaliation. If you are a member of any marginalized community you do not want to hire this law firm.
I also believe there was a fraudulent use of funds and Ms Lorella’s relationship with opposing counsel was a serious issue. I do not believe she operated in good faith. Must be nice to collect a six figure paycheck off of the dissolution of families.

Our family has spent the last year working with Mr. Nichols on a very difficult case involving domestic and child abuse. Cathy was absolutely fabulous to work with during this difficult time. She took the time to explain everything to me ranging from legal terms to what was best for my situation that I found confusing. I was referred to Cathy from a friend years ago. I called her in an emergency child custody situation. After a phone discussion she met me at the courthouse the morning of trial and stood up and won a temporary child custody order. After we had a chance to get to know one another I learned Cathy is very honest and hard working. She helped me win custody and saved myself and my kids from a bad situation. Recently I needed Cathy's services again in a divorce case. Once again Cathy put together a very strong case. She is very thorough, very organized, and prepared. Russ, in short, is a wonderful man and lawyer. Not only did he take the time to get to understand me as a person, he did a great job with my legal needs. His approach worked well. The personal attention that Russ gave me was very much appreciated but not expected based on my past experience with other lawyers I have used. Russ helped get me through my divorce and taught me a lot along the way about being a better person. Russ is probably one of the most ethical men I know. I first start off by saying that Jack D. Clark is definitely the type of attorney one would hope to be referred to. I feel pretty lucky that I was referred to him myself. I sought Jack’s assistance in a tough custody case seeking a reversal of a parenting plan. My personal case couldn’t have gone better.
Jack represented me and my family very well. In preparing for hearings, trials, and mediations, he was well prepared, to the point, and down to earth. In court, Jack was very respectful, persuasive, thoughtful, and articulate. He had a great mannerism, kept me very well informed, and I found that, over the course of my case, it felt like he was not just simply my attorney, he was someone I felt that was really fighting on my side and was someone I could trust. I think that is saying something.
Jack also had a no-nonsense approach. He stuck to working on what mattered and was even able to find ways where I could get involved and help reduce my costs. I really believe that my kids and I received the best outcome that was possible. I also feel that I received a great value in his representation. Working with Jack D. Clark was a good fit for me and I feel that it was definitely money well spent.
Again, Jack D. Clark is an attorney that I have no hesitation in making a referral to for a family law or personal injury case.

Deane worked with us on our son's independent adoption. There were some complications with the birth father but those were worked out in a timely and efficient manner. From the time we first met to the finalization of the adoption was 4 months. It would have been 4-6 weeks had it not been for the paternal termination of rights.
What I liked best about Deane was his communication and professionalism. Whenever I talk to friends who have adopted through agencies, they describe a long and drawn out process and inattention from lawyers and social workers. Our experience was exactly the opposite. We are very happy that Deane was referred to us and served us well.

I had literally called every attorney practicing family law in Snohomish County. Jody Studdard was a referral from the very last attorney, who was going on maternity leave. All the previous attorneys I had called either would not take on a multi-state child custody case or had an astronomical retainer, which was out of reach for a single mom living in Alaska. Not only did he take my case, but his retainer was a fraction of all the others I had contacted. I thought, this was either going to be a really good thing or a really bad thing.
It was the best decision of my life! He took on a rather difficult child custody case involving three states, WA, TX & AK. There were some challenges, like getting papers served to the defendant on Fort Lewis. Jody was very organized before he presented the case before the Judge, so much so, that the judge cut off the defendants attorney and made a ruling in favor of the plaintiff, due to overwhelming facts presented by Jody.
I never met Jody Studdard, but I will NEVER forget what Jody did for me in 2003. He was truly my last hope. I am writing this review 17 years later. He forever changed the course of my life and my son’s life in a such a positive way I will ALWAYS remember.

Update since last review. Unfortunately ABC law is a scam, Ponzi scheme within the court system. They work with local authorities and state governments and county officials to ensure they benefit themselves over the client and what’s right.
ABC law has extremely bad communication from their office staff to their attorneys and poor to no court room experience.
ABC law fraudulently represent their clients with unlicensed and poorly experienced lawyers and attorneys.
ABC law does not provide accurate information about time and cost of services.
ABC law is still holding money from my retainer and has not returned my calls.
This is not a disgruntled employee, but a disgruntled customer who is leaving a accurate and reliable review.
ABC knew that my case was going to be a flop because the other Party filed wrong but they took my retainer and acted like they were going to do something knowing the judge was not going to hear the case because it was filed incorrectly.

Lawyers Alexandra VanBelle and Patrick Songy of Deno Millikan took on our family law case after getting no call backs from several other firms. I like to file a complaint. While speaking with a receptionist. She claimed you'd only been Open for 15 mins at 8:55pm then told me I can't speak to people like that and she hung up the phone. I'm trying to convey my problems and concerns and only get brushed off and told I'll get a call back.
I got a call back and saying I'll like to file a complaint and was told I'm not going to get into this again and was hung up on once again.
I was not using foul language and I was trying to be respectful. my worries are being passed over and my request are not being respected prior to the first hearing with Brittany.

Ximena was amazing. She got me started outlining the situation while she looked up the court case details, and knew exactly when to I perfect with a question to get to the heart of the matter. She's incredibly good at multitasking and accessing /cross referencing information. In addition, her long standing in Snohomish County gave her direct knowledge of the Commissioner who heard a previous hearing, so I finally had confirmation of the Commissioner's background and perspective... 1st attorney I've worked with who could do this!
After (a lot of free consultation effort) we finished a basic review she gave me direct and clear information, and then referred me to another firm because she didn't have postnuptial contract experience; she knew about the postnup from the beginning, but helped me to understand my situation better.

Ximena was referred to me by a colleague, and I'm so grateful I decided to hire her. She helped me with a challenging custody situation and was extremely knowledgeable and strong throughout the entire process. The situation was complicated and I wasn't entirely sure what the best approach was. She did an excellent job asking the right questions, helping me navigate the process and options with an objective eye, and ultimately helped to achieve the best possible outcome. Her approach is objective and direct (as it should be).
Ximena's approach is strong, but she is extremely compassionate and truly cares about her clients. It is definitely not about how many hours she bills or if she can get the case to trial. I’m a criminal defense lawyer with 45 years of experience, so when it came to my own difficult, complicated divorce, I knew I needed the best lawyer possible. My first lawyer was, at best, mediocre. Deeply unprofessional and discriminatory conduct from Theresa Lorella and this firm. Unethical law firm that refuses to provide an itemized receipt. Ms Lorella sold herself as being capable of the most difficult divorce settlements but after 3 months and tens of thousands of dollars later she was incapable of doing even the bare minimum such as get my non marital personal property back. Ms Lorella also engages in bigoted behavior and when her firm disciplined her for the matter she quit the next day in retaliation. If you are a member of any marginalized community you do not want to hire this law firm.
I also believe there was a fraudulent use of funds and Ms Lorella’s relationship with opposing counsel was a serious issue. I do not believe she operated in good faith. Must be nice to collect a six figure paycheck off of the dissolution of families.

A comment that still haunts me 16 years after the divorce. Such a red flag and Aaron shields should have been fired on the spot. During the divorce he said “your kids are young enough, you can leave now and they won’t remember you!” Two weeks later my X said word for word the exact same thing. So Aaron was bought off by my X whose mother worked for her attorney abill Sullivan at the time. Clearly they wanted to erase me from my daughter’s existence. It’s now 2024 X held in contempt 2x, one daughter completely alienated since 2022. I hope people avoid using lawyers like this one because he is nothing more than a used used car salesman- that clearly works for his pocket lining and not his clients best interests.

Divorce mediation oversight leaving out notice to let other party know of "late" missed payments. March to June 9th resulted in $28,500 in late fees. I paid immediately when notified. The $150 per day compounding fees added up. Unintentional oversight from changing accounts. I was threatened with imprisonment by opposing counsel Robert Miller/Brewe Layman.

It is so hard for me to build the courage to write what I know my fellow citizens and especially those like myself have held their right hand to their heart every single day in allegiance of the land we love. Aaron took money from me in a family matter. Knowing I am clean as a judge I was hoaxed into accepting an awe full arrangement which has made seeing my son nearly a functional obsolescence. Aaron. barged me near enough to $40,000 and I barely see my son. I do not smoke, drink and I am a good father.
I have since tried to reach Aaron but always seem to end up speaking with his extremely rude and obnoxious phone lady Jennifer.
Jennifer scares me as well. She is so rude and Aaron is one sneaky attorney. Stay away from the crooks.
In my clear purview Aaron is a washed up attorney with no loyalty to his clients. Aaron is a walmart attorney.
I have no fear that Aaron and Jennifer will now try and ruin my life even more. 100% not afraid of that clown.
Hire a young attorney who has not forgot why he/she became an attorney.
I feel as though Aaron was using my money to pay off debts or gambling I do not know what I know is the lack of representation and the amount charge seems criminal.

Walking into Rodi’s office for the first time, I was nervous. I was staring down what was certain to be a long, nasty, complex divorce and I needed to make sure I had the best representation possible. But, I also had to know I could trust and relate to whoever might provide that.

I had the pleasure of working with Geoff through a DVPO case and parts of my divorce case. He was able to point out the fact that my ex had set me up and wasn't afraid to voice it in court. Geoff was also well prepared for a crucial custody hearing and it was a relief having him by my side. Being a judge, in addition to a lawyer, his schedule does get busy. odd is not only a delightful human, but an incredibly effective lawyer. Representation was pathetic at best. Ken is very hard to communicate with as he doesn't give you the total answer till after the fact. Does not listen very well to his client, nor did he believe in his client/me. Accounting practices leave very much to be desired, missed numerous entries/expenses and the math was horrible.
