I had recently divorced and my daughter's custody arrangement was not going well. She was back and forth way too much and she wasn't happy. I wanted to go back to court for a better parenting plan but my original attorney was on a leave of absence. I spoke with several attorneys but each one of them told me "it was too soon" to go back to court. Emily took my case and in the mean time, my daughter was falling apart with the current plan. We went back to court and we are currently working on a new plan. Emily was a blessing to me and my daughter. I highly recommend her. She is a fighter and she has become a friend to us.

Divorce was not something I wanted. Of course, nothing I ever hoped or planned for. I was hurt, sad and scared of what was to come. And now I had to take the huge task of finding the best divorce attorney in Williamson County. When it was time, I took the recommendation of meeting Will Holloway from one of my dearest friends. Thank goodness she was on point.
I was very direct and organized with Will and he never once let me down. His communication skills were impeccable and timely. His willingness to get what I wanted done in my time frame was met at every way. I never doubted any information or advice he gave me. I always felt he had my best interests at hand with the utmost sincerity and efficiency.
At our final meeting, after the divorce was finalized, Will gave me his final “talk” and it was what I describe as a “pep talk”. His words were kind and insightful. I have to admit there was a small part of me that was sad that I would no longer be meeting with Will again. I found his services to be extremely professional, helpful and most importantly, genuine.

After 21 years of marriage, I found myself in an unwanted divorce. He will give you sound advice and offer a common-sense strategy to get you through the divorce while you’re in the maelstrom of emotions that can cloud your judgement. Will was fully engaged from the beginning to the end. In my particular case, there was an affair involved but instead of making that the central theme, Will directed my focus on the best outcome for my children and me. The divorce process is hard enough. I can't imagine what it would be like without a great team to help with the incredible detail that it takes to ensure you are protected. By the time the divorce was final I felt that I had an extended family with Sarah and her team. I never thought I'd need a divorce lawyer but when I found myself pregnant going through a divorce I knew I'd need one that would advocate for me and my baby boy. From the minute I met Phil Newman we just clicked. His warm, caring nature together with his no-nonsense, cut-to-the-chase way makes him a bulldog of a lawyer. In the end, the way he fights for what's best for the CHILD is what sets him apart. And he's had to put me in my place a few times, but I've always been better as a result.
Now having been divorced 8+ years and going through several post-divorce rounds of parenting plan changes, I can't recommend Phil and his team highly enough.
Especially Alisha Warner who is my other lawyer and who has walked with me as well through the past 8 years. She is an incredibly hard worker and has gut instincts that recently helped me settle a really hard situation in mediation.
I can't recommend the whole team at Puryear, Newman & Morton highly enough - they are ALL incredible to work with and ultimately fight for what's best for everyone in the long run.

Phil was highly recommended to me by a long-time friend who had recently gone through a divorce and was in a very similar situation to mine. I have two young boys and was the breadwinner in my household, which is very relevant because I had a hard time accepting the role reversal of my situation. I knew within 5 minutes of sitting down with Phil and his paralegal, Julie, that I didn’t need to look any further. Phil is a busy lawyer (which means he’s good lawyer) so he can be hard to pin down at times, BUT he was always there when I needed him – responding to texts and phone calls at night, early morning and over the weekend. He and Julie not only counseled me through the technical aspects of the divorce, but the emotional aspects as well. Phil would empathize with me and validate my feelings, but he also told me what I needed to hear even if it wasn’t what I wanted to hear. Thankfully, we were able to settle my divorce in mediation. Phil took time to explain the mediation process to me and ensure I was well prepped – both materially and emotionally. The mediation was 11 grueling hours . There was one point when we were negotiating alimony – a real sticking point for me – when Phil looked me straight in the eye and said, “Tracy, that’s a good deal. You need to take it.” I didn’t like it but I took it. No questions asked. And, this is representative of how my whole process went. Throughout one of the most difficult periods of my life when I was at my most vulnerable, Phil was my rock and my protector. I felt strong because I had Phil and Julie in my corner. On one hand, I’m grateful my divorce didn’t end up in court, but on the other hand, I would have loved to see him in action in that setting. He’s strong advocate, great listener and fierce negotiator, but best of all…he’s an overall wonderful human. I would recommend Phil over and over again.

It is so difficult to find a trustworthy attorney. After meeting with several different ones, we were blessed to find Stuart. We hired him for a case of termination of parental rights and adoption of minors. It is needless to say the case resulted in our favor. There are two important sides of Stuart professionalism, on one hand there is the preparation, since the first meeting we realize he had an ample knowledge of the law, however what was more astonishing and made the difference, is the exceptional preparation he makes at every step of the case. I was referred to Neil specifically because he is skilled in complex divorce litigation. My divorce case was lengthy, difficult, often frightening, and highly toxic. You don't want just any divorce attorney for such a case. Neil is tough when he needs to be, but in my case he also worked for the best interests of my children and made every effort to reduce conflict when he could. He's not simply an "attack dog" out to "win" your case. (So often, when that's the case, it's the children who lose.) Ultimately, his aim was to help reach a settlement and the best possible custody arrangement under extra difficult circumstances, and also to save me tens of thousands of dollars in potential trial costs. I was on the search for a lawyer that I could not only trust but one that I knew understood my heart for the situation and would fight hard for me to get it. I called Dana and hired him to represent a family member in a DUI case. Dana looked at all of the discovery materials and one thing didn’t quite feel right to him. He requested follow up documentation from the DA’s office, who stalled and deferred for close to a year, postponing court dates multiple times. Dana didn’t back off, and the DA finally admitted that he didn’t have the media Dana was requesting.
He negotiated a favorable plea agreement that was far better than what we thought was possible. I’d hire Dana again without hesitation.

If you need an attorney, Dana is the one you need to hire. Dana was referred to me from a friend and WOW, what a great choice. From the first time we spoke on the phone until my court date was over, he was top notch. I've used many attorneys throughout life and he is by far the best I've used. If you are in need of a great attorney that will put your mind at ease, look no further. I had a probation violation in Franklin and it couldn't have went better. The way he handled himself in the courtroom to the way he always responded to my texts/calls, I never felt alone in my case and always felt he was fighting for me. My spouse hired a high-powered "celebrity" attorney and was planning on putting me "through the ringer" and was planning to take our child out of state with the man she was having an affair with. Mr. Fort stood toe-to -toe with her council and was able to get me everything I asked for. He is very knowledgeable and understands the law and formulates an amazing strategy. Thanks to him I have 50/50 custody without having to concede any other demands. He and Misti (paralegal) are strong communicators who will answer very promptly (always within an hour) with concrete advice. Obviously each case is different but if you are totally 100% open and honest, Mike will fight for you. I would recommend Mike to anyone who is in need of a top-notch lawyer.

I consulted with a few different attorneys in Franklin & Crystal was the only one that made me feel as if she really was listening to what I was saying. The others, for the most part, made me feel as if we were being timed & I had to race through my situation.
I hired Crystal after about a month when I was ready to file for divorce. She walked me through all of the scenarios & her paralegal gave me a bunch of information to help me when I needed to refer to if I needed it, which I found so helpful.
I’m still going through the divorce process but they’ve made me feel like I’m not alone.
Crystal is a straight shooter which I like. She doesn’t charge for every little thing and she genuinely wants the best for me & my two kids. I can feel that with every conversation I have with her. I can’t imagine going through this process with any other attorney.

Cannot give enough credit or positive feedback for Mrs. Etue and her staff, especially Erin. They are what a lawyer should be when it comes to truly knowing and advocating for their client. They took the time to truly get to know me, my situation which two previous attorneys had blundered horribly, and then on principle, dug in and scratched and used their extensive understanding of the law to clear the minefield my ex had laid out. They saw the truth, dug hard to get the facts and evidence to support it and overcome opposing sides efforts to conceal and hide crucial materials. I had almost been broken by the process and stress, but they gave me a glimmer of hope, then fed it and worked so hard to stand up to the opposing side, and now, we clearly are in an incredible position to get the results we sought and then some because they fought the right fight and took a stand against an opposing side based on values and principles. You cannot go wrong hiring Mrs. Etue, just be honest, forthcoming NO MATTER WHAT, because they are the poster child for integrity and can handle anything put forth as long as they aren't blindsided. You'll actually enjoy speaking to your attorney and NEVER feel like they just adding dollar signs to your bill. VERY BEST HANDS DOWN!!!!

I would highly recommend MC Davis to anyone in the process of a family law matter, specifically divorce. MC had a personal touch and never failed to ask me how I was doing personally. This meant so much to me during what was probably the most stressful and intense experience of my life. MC was willing to take on my complicated case halfway through after my first lawyer dropped out. MC gave me a clear view of my options and got results. Donna was my attorney through a two year fight with a very contentious ex wife and her equally contentious attorney.
Everything from 50/50 custody to every financial decision (including the realtor chosen to sell the marital home) was fought for or had to be decided by the court because of my ex and her attorney.
After a long and drawn out process I got the 50/50 custody that I wanted and am much better off financially than I could have ever imagined at the start of this process.
Furthermore, Donna was very good at talking me through the process and calming me when I felt overwhelmed or just wanted to cave to their scare tactics. This saved me thousands of dollars and helped me through this emotionally.
I couldn't have asked for anything more from an attorney than what I received by hiring Donna.

Donna Green was very helpful in my divorce case and acted with constant professionalism. She advised me on court proceedings that were necessary for me to receive an equal distribution of an asset and temporary support in my divorce case. Sean has a very pleasant way about him and it is easy to feel comfortable in his presence.
Their diligence and dedication to represent my son is what we received from their team. We never saw the hours spent preparing for court appearances nor the times spent speaking with the plaintiff’s attorneys; yet, we know all this was instrumental in negotiating the favorable outcome in the Civil Lawsuit against my son.
It took two years for the case to be settled in our favor.
Sean’s assistance in this case for my son was due to his and Brad’s expertise in law, research, skilled collaboration and attention to detail were sure components to him being able to deliver the best solution possible for my son. He was not the lead attorney but whenever we met with them, it was obvious he was an intricate part of the process in turning this in my son’s favor. They were prompt in relaying information regarding any new developments and any court related issues.
The day we met to retain Brad Carter and Sean was a very dark day for us. It was like walking in the dark; groping for a glimmer of light and direction out of this deep hole my son had fallen in. In his sympathetic way, we got that glimmer of light we had hoped for; though he laid out the worst case scenario, we felt confident that we had been led to the right place. We were not made any promises, but that they team would represent my son with the goal of getting the best result.
When people come to an attorney seeking counsel, the response of that attorney should be as reassuring as possible that he/she is on their team. We were not given false hope. Yet, we felt some relieve knowing that Sean Aiello and Brad Carter would be doing everything they could to represent my son well.
I close adding, they not only represented my son in such an excellent way that leaves us feeling forever grateful , but they also represented their profession and their law firm to a high level of honor. I admire and think highly of these two men knowing that though they may have had some personal reservations regarding some of the details in the case, it never hindered their acts of professionalism.
I pray that, I nor any of my family will ever have a need to be represented in a court of law again; but should I ever know of someone who does, I think I could honestly refer them to Sean Aiello.

I called many lawyers and left many messages in regards to a workers comp. for my elderly mom and none of them had bothered to call me back over a week. I then called Mr. Coston's office and spoke with a very nice lady by the name of Lisa who then put me directly thru to Mr. Coston who introduced himself just as Geoff and not Mr. Coston. He seemed really "down to earth" and did not come off as an arogant attorney like others I have dealt with.
I explained my situation to Geoff and he listened carefully and told me he would give me free advice to possibly avoid having to even get an attorney. He then took the time to explain everything and answered all my questions. He took time and never rushed me. He gave a lot of free advice. I have never had an attorney do that. And he had a great since of humor too.
If I can't get my situation resolved in the next few days on my own then I will definitely be calling Mr. Geoff Coston. He is very personable, polite, smart and tries to save you time and money right from the start.
