Tonya Gibbs Penn is the exception, not the rule. Not only did she have tremendous compassion with our case, but she also proved to be a brilliant attorney who demonstrates a true interest in her clients and their cases.
We live in Nashville and wanted someone to represent us who would really care about our case. Trust was an important factor because our case was in Virginia and we’re in Tennessee, about ten hours from court.
Ms. Penn not only made sure that we understood the specifics of our current case, but she also explained what we would need to expect going forward. She never ignored any communication or kept us guessing. She was forthright and highly responsive.
More importantly, no one else would’ve been so willing to peel back the layers of the case and ask the questions that she asked in order to get the best information to help us better prepare for the future.
As we look to 2021, we hope to return to Tonya Gibbs Penn for family law representation and know that if we have her on our side, we’ll be able to enter court with the assurance that she will be fighting for us the whole way.

Tracy Meyer represented me in a case that began as a request for a child support modification involving several states and ultimately involved custody and visitation changes as well. Tracy had an excellent rapport with me and was able to reassure me when needed, but also to give it to me straight at times. She knew what to anticipate and was able to communicate with me clearly. Nicole and her whole team were professional from the start. I was referred to the firm from a trusted advisor. I had a bad experience with a former attorney and to say they were professional, helpful, and excellent is an understatement. This law firm never stops working for you. Sarah Patras was our attorney in a Family case where a lot of paperwork was involved and a lot of serious issues and inaccurate information needed to be addressed. Ms. Patras was optimistic from the beginning and gave us the confidence to move forward even when some other issues came up.
Their para legal Ashley Constant was always available even when Ms. Patras was tied up and they both stayed in constant communication throughout the entire ordeal.

I hired Lindsay for a divorce case, and a protective order case. I was in a really bad place when I came to Lindsay I was fighting false allegations of family abuse. She was able to help me through my divorce retaining my visitation rights and got the protective order dismissed. I really thought things were hopeless but after working with her she was able to show the courts what was really going on. She was always mindful of what she was billing me and tried to save me money where she could. She underpromised and over delivered every time. If your going through a divorce hire her.

Jasmine represented me in a custody case regarding my 12 year old where his father was requesting a drastic change in the visitation we have had for most of my son’s lie. I had a lot of anxiety surrounding this process and felt very uneducated and unprepared. Jasmine put my mind at ease from the beginning and guided me each step of the way to help me feel as prepared as possible. I had a lot of questions and she took time to answer each one. I just want to say from the first phone call speaking with Tyler for a period of time and him explaining everything in great detail for a uncontested divorce after 28 years of marriage. I explained that both parties were on the same page and there was no reason to argue or fight.
The next day after speaking to my soon to be ex husband we both agreed we could do an uncontested divorce to save both parties $$$ and truly the only ones making out are the attorneys. I then hired Mr Daniel Turszan Esq and pretty much had everything ready to go for him to save all parties time with back and forth. I emailed him and talked with him on numerous occasions and never felt rushed at any point in fact he wanted to make sure I understood each and everything since we were married for 28 years what I was entitled to. His office staff is very pleasant and I finally got to meet Mr Turszan this morning while both my husband and I signed our papers and he would make it easy for the filing process at the courthouse. I highly recommend this firm. Thank you all again for a great experience.

High dollar doesn’t automatically equal high quality. Ted Butler listened and let me talk. However he didn’t really get me results. I asked to mark automatic alimony payments like the women shelter wisely suggested after seeing my ex’s “shenanigans”. Rightfully so. It was actually written in the divorce degree. However.. much to my shock marked out and initialized when everything was said and done. It lead to many years of more court sessions, gave my ex the opportunity to fall behind in $17000 in support payments.
I figured an high end attorney would be worth it in such an important life changing matter. Please compare attorneys before settling.

Ted Butler was the attorney my wife hired to represent her in a contentious child custody and divorce case, which has been fraught with conflict. Initially, I harbored reservations about Mr. Butler, given that part of my ex-wife's strategy involved attempts to have me arrested, file multiple protective orders against me, and accuse me of spousal and child abuse. While it seemed initially that Ted Butler was complicit in this strategy, it became apparent over time that he may not have been fully informed about the complete truth, plans, or actions of his client. Throughout the ongoing divorce proceedings, I have come to believe that Ted Butler is an honest individual who strives to do his best for his clients. I am convinced that without Ted Butler's representation, my ex-wife's outcomes in court would have been significantly worse.
As a former military combat veteran, my ex-wife consistently uses PTSD against me, despite my disability being rated at only 10 percent. It was a central component of her argument that I posed a danger to her and our children due to PTSD. While Ted Butler vigorously advocated for his client, he did not exploit my military service against me in court, despite my ex-wife's persistence in doing so.
Although my divorce case is still pending, and Ted Butler is likely to remain my ex-wife's attorney, I want to acknowledge him as an honest and honorable attorney who fights vigorously but fairly.

I was represented by this law firm during my divorce and I was let down as a father. I found them using the employee support group benefit I had and which they are apart of Elizabeth was a great talker and these firm will bill you. Right before my court date when she was suppose to represent me she was exposed to COVID. I asked for a continuance. This was because I felt she knew my case the best. She assured me her partner would be able to help me this in a four day turn around. Well It did not turn out well for me I ended up losing on all grounds. The property and lost more time with my daughter due to the new custody arrangement custody because of the lack of preparation by her replacement. He also stated he was not happy representing me because of ESG agreement which capped his hour rate this was in the court house. She was able to recover and clear up some issues later on when we cleared up the custody but by then the damage was done. AVOID THIS FIRM. Specifically Anthony Williams who was the replacement.

We found Elizabeth through my company's EAP and I knew from the moment I sat in the free consultation that she was the right lawyer for us. She listens to everything you had to say and is so honest about the situation. Everytime we called or sent an email she would respond within a day and always was able to answer our questions. Our previuos lawyer took a week to respond and half the time didn't even answer the question that was asked. I would recommned Elizabeth and the entire Anthony C. William's lawyers to anyone. The office staff is fantastic. Everytime we call they are so polite and try to help the best they can.

I had Dori for the first half of a case with the previous firm she was at. Unfortunately she left the firm before my trial date. I am sure she was unable to inform me about her departure because of contract or whatever. I wish that she could have represented me at trial for my child custody matter, because I felt like she had much more confidence and would have gotten me better results. I tried finding her online but had no luck. She was familiar with my case and I felt like she actually believed in me as a father, which in turn she naturally would have fought harder. She was always quick to respond to any emails or phone calls---always within 24 business hours. I would strongly recommend Dori.

Mr. Koch showed up at my trial as unprepared as if he had never met me. He did not use the evidence I supplied, failed to subpoena key witnesses, did not interview or even know what to ask my witnesses. Allowed multiple lies and fabrications to go unchecked, and did not provide even a modicum of defense. He is either grossly incompetent or in the pocket of the DA. As a result, I went to prison for a crime that never happened, of which there was no evidence, and after Mr Koch assured me that the case was a "slam dunk".

Mr Koch was a blessing. I was facing a felony with up to multiple years in prison, and Mr. Koch got it reduced to a misdemeanor with ZERO time in prison. He was also able to help me maintain my Driver's license. In addition to being very knowledgeable, he was also very compassionate and understanding. I don't have enough kind words to say about Mr. Koch. If I could rate him higher than a five, I would. I recommend him to anyone facing charges in the Stafford area. While other attorneys were hesitant to defend a case in Stafford, Mr. Koch dove right in, and got the best results I could hope for. Give him a call, and you won't be disappointed!!

Mr. Koch saved my family. I was facing serious felony charges. During the process I had moments of doubt, but Mr. Koch's confidence always reassured me. My case went all the way to a jury trial and Mr. Koch was fantastic in the courtroom. He had a unique way of connecting with the jury and making the defendant appear to them as a human being with dignity. Mr. Koch aptly showed the jury that the charges against me didn't carry water and they found me not guilty on all counts. He is amazing!

I needed a pit bull in the courtroom and that was Ms. Krueger. Court can be a scary place, but she took control and I was confident she would make sure the truth came out. She was more prepared than anyone in the room and when she talked they listened. I'm glad I listened too when she was recommended to me! She was a fighter when I needed one and a tough negotiator too. I could tell she cared and she believed in my fight. Would never want any other lawyer on my side.

I can't believe she don't believe in what I tell her , but believe in the other side attorneys...and she ask me to pay more fee to her right before the next trail day... and she lie about the time she use... when I ask her let me see the statement of the time use....she push my next trail date after 6 months later...and when I ready to change to a new attorney, she say she will tell the other attorneys , I can't afford to pay the attorney fee...she is very horrible attorney...

Worst lawyer ever! To start, he never provides a direct phone number to reach him. He then charges for what his emails say should be "free" consultations. When I questioned why he is charging me for a consultation that his office states was free, he quit on me with out issuing me a refund. He never provided any services and "claims" he did work. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON HIM!

Timothy is an example of how lawyers should be in a perfect world. I'm not saying that he knows everything off the top of his head or that he can't be wrong but Mr. King has made me feel like the money is not the most important thing to him. Meaning that he did not always go with the option that drags things out. Instead for me, he aimed at a optimal resolution to genuinely improve the lives of my kid and the opposing party. To help improve our lives and move them forward in a meaningful way. Not only did he give legal advice and help, He really helped me discover what I know/feel is best. Through adversity of his own life, I felt his advice came from a place of real understanding. He isnt afraid of a fight I wanted one and he is very capable of helping you discover what you really want. Being a parent is important to me, my kid is all that matters. I asked him to give his honest opinion and be straight forward with me and it was refreshing. If you are debating on trying Timothy's services out give it a try. He will work with you. WOW! I talked to a bunch of lawyers before Tim and. They all told me my case was too complicated and that they wouldn't be able to help me get the results I wanted. Then I met Tim.
From the 1st meeting until the end, Tim delivered on everything he said! We worked together to develop a plan which Tim executed like a 5 star general. I found the entire process of working with these people to be so totally unacceptable that I had to fire them before trial. They demonstrated a lack of knowledge about my case and did not follow through when it was time to execute the strategy that was explained to me among other issues such as failing to return emails or to provide advice before asking me to make a decision. I found out the hard way that it is very expensive to fire a lawyer and difficult to get your money back so I cannot recommend strongly enough that you go literally anywhere else.

My husband had the unfortunate experience of hiring this lawyer, and I would strongly advise anyone considering his services to look elsewhere. He promised my husband that he would get the case sent to Veterans Court, reassuring him multiple times that his driving license in our home state would notbe affected. These were bold claims that ultimately proved to be nothing more than empty words.
The communication throughout the entire process was abysmal. I had to call him and his office a dozen times just to get any sort of response. Emails were ignored, and when I did finally manage to get through, I received little to no helpful information. It became painfully clear that the case was not a priority for him.
To make matters worse, he completely disregarded my husband’s medical paperwork, despite it being crucial for his case. My husband has multiple mental disorders one being depression we had paperwork from a duty station stating this, two weeks after the case was closed he got a diagnosis of ADHD, and a year later a PTSD diagnosis came through. But the paperwork we did have at the was totally ignored and my husband was forced into a plea when he literally was not in a state of mind to sign any paperwork and it was clear as day to anyone with eyes but this guys eyes were blinded with $$$$$$$$. This lack of attention to detail and blatant negligence cost my husband valuable time, caused unnecessary stress.
In summary, this lawyer is a disgrace to the profession. His inability to follow through on promises, complete disregard for client needs, and utter lack of professionalism make him the worst legal experience I’ve ever had. If you have a mental disorder or are a veteran in need of legal help, please, do yourself a favor and stay far away from this individual. He should not be allowed to practice law or assist anyone in any capacity. I fortunately find myself employed with the Federal Legal system and I am learning about every avenue open to us to ensure we can right what wrongs were caused by him.

If I could give Mr. Danieli zero stars, I would. He dragged my divorce case on for over a year and a half, claiming he couldn’t do anything. After I switched to a new lawyer, my case was resolved in just one week—and completely in my favor.
During his time representing me, Mr. Danieli didn’t listen to my requests and consistently took steps against my wishes. He seemed more focused on sending bills for every little detail than actually helping me. His office was just as bad—ignoring emails, making numerous mistakes, and still charging me for them.
I’m so relieved I finally switched lawyers. I would never recommend Mr. Danieli to anyone because it was clear he doesn’t know how to do his job or care about his clients.
