Nicole and her whole team were professional from the start. I was referred to the firm from a trusted advisor. I had a bad experience with a former attorney and to say they were professional, helpful, and excellent is an understatement. Tonya Gibbs Penn is the exception, not the rule. Not only did she have tremendous compassion with our case, but she also proved to be a brilliant attorney who demonstrates a true interest in her clients and their cases.
We live in Nashville and wanted someone to represent us who would really care about our case. Trust was an important factor because our case was in Virginia and we’re in Tennessee, about ten hours from court.
Ms. Penn not only made sure that we understood the specifics of our current case, but she also explained what we would need to expect going forward. She never ignored any communication or kept us guessing. She was forthright and highly responsive.
More importantly, no one else would’ve been so willing to peel back the layers of the case and ask the questions that she asked in order to get the best information to help us better prepare for the future.

Tracy Meyer represented me in a case that began as a request for a child support modification involving several states and ultimately involved custody and visitation changes as well. Sarah Patras was our attorney in a Family case where a lot of paperwork was involved and a lot of serious issues and inaccurate information needed to be addressed. I hired Lindsay for a divorce case, and a protective order case. I was in a really bad place when I came to Lindsay I was fighting false allegations of family abuse. She was able to help me through my divorce retaining my visitation rights and got the protective order dismissed. I really thought things were hopeless but after working with her she was able to show the courts what was really going on. She was always mindful of what she was billing me and tried to save me money where she could. She underpromised and over delivered every time. If your going through a divorce hire her.

I had Dori for the first half of a case with the previous firm she was at. Unfortunately she left the firm before my trial date. I am sure she was unable to inform me about her departure because of contract or whatever. I wish that she could have represented me at trial for my child custody matter, because I felt like she had much more confidence and would have gotten me better results. I tried finding her online but had no luck. She was familiar with my case and I felt like she actually believed in me as a father, which in turn she naturally would have fought harder. She was always quick to respond to any emails or phone calls---always within 24 business hours. I would strongly recommend Dori.

Jasmine represented me in a custody case regarding my 12 year old where his father was requesting a drastic change in the visitation we have had for most of my son’s lie. I had a lot of anxiety surrounding this process and felt very uneducated and unprepared. I was represented by this law firm during my divorce and I was let down as a father. I found them using the employee support group benefit I had and which they are apart of Elizabeth was a great talker and these firm will bill you. Right before my court date when she was suppose to represent me she was exposed to COVID. I asked for a continuance. This was because I felt she knew my case the best. She assured me her partner would be able to help me this in a four day turn around. Well It did not turn out well for me I ended up losing on all grounds. The property and lost more time with my daughter due to the new custody arrangement custody because of the lack of preparation by her replacement. He also stated he was not happy representing me because of ESG agreement which capped his hour rate this was in the court house. She was able to recover and clear up some issues later on when we cleared up the custody but by then the damage was done. AVOID THIS FIRM. Specifically Anthony Williams who was the replacement.

We found Elizabeth through my company's EAP and I knew from the moment I sat in the free consultation that she was the right lawyer for us. She listens to everything you had to say and is so honest about the situation. Everytime we called or sent an email she would respond within a day and always was able to answer our questions. My fiancé and I had the pleasure of working with Livesay & Myers, I had Sarah as my lawyer and Sunny as my paralegal. we started working with Sarah in the beginning of the 2023 till now, from our consultation, all the way till now we have nothing but amazing things to say, Sarah is so sweet and understanding, she is very calm and listens to everything you have to say, she gives you great advice on how to handle everything and how to speak and document.
Sunny is so down to earth, always there to answer my calls or emails. When Sarah was busy, she was quick to answer and replay back with great advice,
My ex-husband gave us a big run around and we all were very frustrated and Sarah and Sunny made sure I was very calm and collected.
Neither Sarah nor Sunny gave up on us esp. with what we thought was best for the kids.

Ted Butler was the attorney my wife hired to represent her in a contentious child custody and divorce case, which has been fraught with conflict. Initially, I harbored reservations about Mr. Butler, given that part of my ex-wife's strategy involved attempts to have me arrested, file multiple protective orders against me, and accuse me of spousal and child abuse. While it seemed initially that Ted Butler was complicit in this strategy, it became apparent over time that he may not have been fully informed about the complete truth, plans, or actions of his client. Throughout the ongoing divorce proceedings, I have come to believe that Ted Butler is an honest individual who strives to do his best for his clients. I am convinced that without Ted Butler's representation, my ex-wife's outcomes in court would have been significantly worse.
As a former military combat veteran, my ex-wife consistently uses PTSD against me, despite my disability being rated at only 10 percent. It was a central component of her argument that I posed a danger to her and our children due to PTSD. While Ted Butler vigorously advocated for his client, he did not exploit my military service against me in court, despite my ex-wife's persistence in doing so.
Although my divorce case is still pending, and Ted Butler is likely to remain my ex-wife's attorney, I want to acknowledge him as an honest and honorable attorney who fights vigorously but fairly.

If you're a father looking to get out of paying child support this is your guy! He will allow you to send in nothing but some random numbers typed up from "your business" while dragging the mother all over the ends of the earth to retain any and all of her financial output/input. In the end I was pressured by him and his client to "make signing this a priority" because his client couldn't make it to court.

Mr. Koch showed up at my trial as unprepared as if he had never met me. He did not use the evidence I supplied, failed to subpoena key witnesses, did not interview or even know what to ask my witnesses. Allowed multiple lies and fabrications to go unchecked, and did not provide even a modicum of defense. He is either grossly incompetent or in the pocket of the DA. As a result, I went to prison for a crime that never happened, of which there was no evidence, and after Mr Koch assured me that the case was a "slam dunk".

Mr Koch was a blessing. I was facing a felony with up to multiple years in prison, and Mr. Koch got it reduced to a misdemeanor with ZERO time in prison. He was also able to help me maintain my Driver's license. In addition to being very knowledgeable, he was also very compassionate and understanding. I don't have enough kind words to say about Mr. Koch. If I could rate him higher than a five, I would. I recommend him to anyone facing charges in the Stafford area. While other attorneys were hesitant to defend a case in Stafford, Mr. Koch dove right in, and got the best results I could hope for. Give him a call, and you won't be disappointed!!

Mr. Koch saved my family. I was facing serious felony charges. During the process I had moments of doubt, but Mr. Koch's confidence always reassured me. My case went all the way to a jury trial and Mr. Koch was fantastic in the courtroom. He had a unique way of connecting with the jury and making the defendant appear to them as a human being with dignity. Worst lawyer ever! To start, he never provides a direct phone number to reach him. He then charges for what his emails say should be "free" consultations. When I questioned why he is charging me for a consultation that his office states was free, he quit on me with out issuing me a refund. He never provided any services and "claims" he did work. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON HIM!

Timothy is an example of how lawyers should be in a perfect world. I'm not saying that he knows everything off the top of his head or that he can't be wrong but Mr. King has made me feel like the money is not the most important thing to him. Meaning that he did not always go with the option that drags things out. Instead for me, he aimed at a optimal resolution to genuinely improve the lives of my kid and the opposing party. To help improve our lives and move them forward in a meaningful way. Not only did he give legal advice and help, He really helped me discover what I know/feel is best. Through adversity of his own life, I felt his advice came from a place of real understanding. He isnt afraid of a fight I wanted one and he is very capable of helping you discover what you really want. Being a parent is important to me, my kid is all that matters. I needed a pit bull in the courtroom and that was Ms. Krueger. Court can be a scary place, but she took control and I was confident she would make sure the truth came out. She was more prepared than anyone in the room and when she talked they listened. I'm glad I listened too when she was recommended to me! She was a fighter when I needed one and a tough negotiator too. I could tell she cared and she believed in my fight. Would never want any other lawyer on my side.

She is so horrible... I can't believe she don't believe in what I tell her , but believe in the other side attorneys...and she ask me to pay more fee to her right before the next trail day... and she lie about the time she use... when I ask her let me see the statement of the time use....she push my next trail date after 6 months later...and when I ready to change to a new attorney, she say she will tell the other attorneys , I can't afford to pay the attorney fee...she is very horrible attorney...

I found the entire process of working with these people to be so totally unacceptable that I had to fire them before trial. They demonstrated a lack of knowledge about my case and did not follow through when it was time to execute the strategy that was explained to me among other issues such as failing to return emails or to provide advice before asking me to make a decision. I found out the hard way that it is very expensive to fire a lawyer and difficult to get your money back so I cannot recommend strongly enough that you go literally anywhere else.

I was going through a divorce and hired Woehrle Dahlberg Jones Yao PLLC, specially Mr. Dahlberg to help me with my divorce. I thought it was great that the initial consult was FREE, cause they usually range from $150-$400 for a 1 hour consult. He did a great job selling me on the phone, but in the 2 months he was on my case, this was 1 of the 2 times we talked, the other time was for 37 minutes, however - I would end up paying over $6,000 in legal fees for actions I did not request or approve. He has 3 paralegals, some of which whom work from home cause of COVID, abuse their rights and will file motions on your behalf without you knowing, without consulting with the apposing consult, whatever they can do to run up your bill. They charge for every single email, text, phone call (answered or un-answered, seriously!!) $52.50 to file any document into their E file system, which they want to file EVERYTHING and after they file it will charge another $52.50 to organize it, (upkeep). It took weeks to book an appointment with my attorney, honestly which I only got through to him one time after our consult, while he represented me for over 2 months and got absolutely no further in my case and charged, after nearly being charged for 20 hours of work, I only talked to my attorney 1 time for 37 minutes in these charges, "37 Minutes", charged for nearly 20 hours of work, I didn't approve any motions to be filed, these paralegals that work for Mr. Dahlberg, will run you dry without even asking for you consent. Highly recommend you choose a different attorney.

If I could give Mr. Danieli zero stars, I would. He dragged my divorce case on for over a year and a half, claiming he couldn’t do anything. After I switched to a new lawyer, my case was resolved in just one week—and completely in my favor.
During his time representing me, Mr. Danieli didn’t listen to my requests and consistently took steps against my wishes. He seemed more focused on sending bills for every little detail than actually helping me. His office was just as bad—ignoring emails, making numerous mistakes, and still charging me for them.
I’m so relieved I finally switched lawyers. I would never recommend Mr. Danieli to anyone because it was clear he doesn’t know how to do his job or care about his clients.
