Working with this lawyer was a great experience after I had requested quotes from many others in the State of Michigan and Grand Rapids Area. She was so knowledgable that she was able to do alot of the work Pro-Bono; I know how that sounds, but seriously, her campassion and determination kicked in and allowed her to navigate the system very efficiently. From the beginning I found Judith A. Baxter to be very trustworthy and an advocate for her clients to the full extent possible. On the phone she was really good at breaking things down to make sure I understood where we currently stood. Overall, her work in expungement was the best Christmas Present I could of ever asked for. I hired attorney Damien Sanchez for a very complex child custody case that involved taking on the State. From the beginning, the chances of a favorable outcome seemed bleak. Mr. Carpenter took the time to listen to what I wanted. My divorce was setteled out of court but he was fully prepared to represent me in court. The settlement was better than I expected. From the moment I met Michele I was impressed with her professionalism, empathy, dedication, and wise counsel. I was going through a complicated divorce case that involved my breastfeeding infant. I went through the classic NIGHTMARE divorce. There were so many variables that had to be discussed and then handled, and Diane was completely there for me in every step of the way. She was able to take my concerns, whether they were about my business, my retirement, parenting time, asset division, to name just a few, and counsel me so that I could understand and also reduce the overall stress load. Dave was hired to help with issues with a divorce and custody. He didn't seem to have a lot of knowledge initially, but wasn't afraid to do the leg work to find out what he didn't know. He isn't what I would call a bull dog type when it comes to representing Men in a divorce, which would be nice when dealing with the FOC and family courts. At times I wished he would have been much more aggressive. Overall its been a fairly positive experience working with him. He is willing to work out financial obligations/requirements which is very helpful from the clients prospective. Too bad for me I started all the litigation between myself and my ex wife over financial and custodial issues...all it got me was more money out of my pocket to my ex and lawyer and an better understanding of how BROKE our Family Law system really is.

My ex-husband and I were introduced to Mary in january of 2017. At that time things were very rocky for the two of us and we were not agreeing on much. The demeanor and ease of Mary's mediation with both of our lawyers present was so calming and effective. We both left that session feeling as tho we wished we had went straight with mediation and chosen Mary from the beginning. In May of 2017 my ex and I decided that another mediation session was in our best interest. We contacted Mary and she was able to get us in right away. This session was very different than the first. It was just my ex and I with Mary no lawyers present at that time. She sat and listened to us ... presented us with what she heard and where we needed to go. It was the ideal situation in any custody/divorce matter. Calm, collected and easy. We settled in an hours time. She fairly charged us and promised to always be a resource to the two of us in the future if necessary. Fast forward to my settlement hearing ... I ran into her at the court house and was nervous and worried because my attorney was late. She gave me a hug told me how impressed she was by the coparenting my ex and I were doing and insured me that everything would be ok. She also said that she would represent me if need be. She is amazing!! I will always be grateful to her for helping us during this awkward and heart wrenching time. Would recommend to anyone!
