Today was a day I was both dreading, but also looking forward to as I had to appear for a preliminary hearing regarding an accidental discharge of a firearm that resulted in the projectile passing through the wall of my dwelling and into the adjacent one.
I say dreading because of the implications it would have on both my life and career. Conversely I was looking forward to it because I had attorney Alan Ross in my corner defending me.
I cannot say enough about how professional Alan was in how he presented himself and my case during the hearing, and the amount of time and effort that he took to prepare for it. In the end, his thorough research of case law, legal statutes, and presiding opinion, and presentation of such before the district justice was impressive. He was prepared for, and countered the opposing arguments of the district attorney and ended up swaying the judge in our favor to dismiss the case on all counts.
I cannot thank Alan enough for all the hard work, and compassion he showed towards both my case and myself, prior to and including today’s hearing . While I hope to never have to retain his services again, should the need arise he will always be the one I look to engage on my behalf, and if anyone is out there reading this because they are seeking outstanding service and representation, I highly encourage you to call him.

He disappeared. He stop going to court when I paid him in full. I was arrested and sat in jail because he missed court dates. When I finally got a hold of him he said he would give my money back. And right after that blocked me. I live in Atlanta ga for him to do me like that. I have no words. Now I have to hire a new one

Frank was wreck amended by a friend (in the firm) and the interview was set up by him. So we thought what do we have to loose we went to the office and had a conference with Frank. We explained what happened and gave Frank all the information and he said he thought he could something. So we left it in Frank's hands not knowing what the out come would be if anything. I cannot say enough about Shaffer and Engle law practices. At the time I was being accused of something I did not even do by Pa state children and youth services. The case was given to the Pa state police who conducted an investigation into the allegations and closed the case without any charges being filed.
Although I was never arrested or charged of any crime in this case that did not stop Pa state children and youth services from placing me on a state sexual offender list.
When I first met Alyssa Knisely and Jeff Engle they were both very professional and easy to talk with. After reviewing my case they were able to sit down with me and go over all my options. While doing this they were explaining everything in a way that made it easy for me to follow without being caught up in all the legal talk.
Jeff and Alyssa worked as a great team. As Jeff took the lead during the court hearing being able to bring so much into the open about this case. Alyssa was right there while they both conferred with each other to make sure they did not miss a thing. The first time I spoke with Tilman Larson I knew I had found my attorney. Now that the dust has settled, my only regret is not hiring him sooner. After 15 years of marriage and a year of separation I was tired and sad and strapped. My journey through family law started in November of 95 and eventually I got full physical and legal custody in 2000. It was a long hard journey. Started out with another lawyer did not get anywhere until a friend recommended Deb. She understood the approach we needed to take. It was not fast but was effective. Men had little chance in 95, I guess being a loving caring parent was not something men were considered. I loved my two sons more than life, I would have never put them through that mess if it didn't needed to be done. Deb respected me, guided me and eventually I was granted full legal and physical custody. This could not have happened with out the kind, caring, focused , knowledgable Debra Denison Cantor. My boys are grown now I got them to go to school something that was not happening and both have become productive citizens. Deb gave me the opportunity to save them. She was an angel sent from above.

In 2011, I had to file for bankruptcy. I called Chad Julius. During our first meeting, he explained the process and what I needed to do. At one point I was starting to feel scared and nervous. Chad told me I should feel relieved.
His instructions were: tell my creditors I was filing bankruptcy. Give them his information. Call him when they called me. When I told one of my creditors about my filing they were so furious I became upset. When I called Chad I was severely shaking. He told me not to worry about it (things got easier as time went on). If I had to leave a message Chad got back to me in a timely manner. Chad Julius was there every step of the way.
