Kimberly was wonderful to work with. I had to leave a bad situation and wasn't sure what to do or where to start, but she was so nice and knowledgeable, and made a bad situation as pleasant as easy as she could. She's very communicative, compassionate, and knowledgeable, and will fight to get what you need. I would definitely recommend her, 10/10, for anyone looking for a divorce/family lawyer.

Mike has a desire to be successful in his services and representing myself. This was first demonstrated to me when Mike did his research on me to determine if I was being honest with him in the beginning. When he was certain that he was given all the correct facts, he took on the case. I really appreciated this, because when he accepted my case, he was committed to it and to me. Mike would review every aspect with me and explain the alternatives including the potential cost impacts with the various options before proceeding. Mike dealt professionally with everything that needed to be addressed. He discussed the issues with me and listened to what I had to say without making any pre-judgments. Mike would summarize the issues well and keep to the facts even though the other party attempted to “rabbit trail” at every opportunity. My “after-divorce” problems continued for years as the other party would continually challenge the final order. Even in this, Mike dealt professionally and worked to keep my interests protected. Mike is a professional individual that is first looking for a mutual agreement in a divorce but when a mutual agreement is not obtainable, he worked aggressively for my interests.

I had an ugly divorce and (1) year after the judgment was final…it got worse. I selected Mike to replace my original attorney. What a great decision! Mike stepped in and helped us through the unresolved issues and battles. He provided great legal counsel and shared wisdom that resulted in solving problems others had been unable to conclude. Since the divorce, I have worked with Mike on a couple of business matters, with the same result. I would recommend Mike to anyone needing an attorney that understands the emotions involved and will help you see your options for resolution. Ms. Christine Heckler is better than ANY and ALL my lawyers I ever had represent me. She was court appointed but did not present herself this way. The professional conduct she uses is far beyond anything I would expect out of a court-appointed attorney and furthermore I would recommend this lawyer to EVERYONE. She is good.

I hired Tim to help me with a driving on a suspended license charge. I was nervous that I would be charged and lose my license and be put on probation but after talking with Tim I knew I was in good hands. The day of my pretrial he called me and told me he talked to the prosecutor already and felt that we had a good chance at making a deal in my favor and to take my time getting there. Once I got to the court he greeted me and as we walked through the court house everyone we walked past he knew and was social with everyone there. I felt relieved that he was so well known and was cool with everyone there including the prosecutor. After about 10 minutes of him talking to the prosecutor he came out and told me the good news that my charges were lessened and that I would not be put on probation or lose my license, all of which he told me from the beginning was his plan. He was professional and personable and I am grateful I hired him.

I hired Mitchell Perrault to represent me in a divorce, having fired my first attorney. Even thou I was pressed for time, Mitch agreed to take my case. Mitch was honest, honest, and honest. He was up front with what to expect even if it wasn't necessarily in my favor. He was conscientious with his time so as not to run up unnecessary fees. He was kind and compassionate. I hired Carolyn Henry to represent me in a Felony Assault on a police officer case. I live in Livingston County Michigan and the courts are VERY tough here so a great, aggressive, knowledgeable, lawyer is a must when your facing serious charges. My case was way out of control from the beginning, I was over charged by the procicuiter with a 4th Habitual offender so the penalty could have been very hard. Carolyn worked her magic, and was willing to go to trial if she couldn't get a reduced charge. I was totally ok with taking a disorderly conduct charge, because that's all I truly did. To make a long story short, Carolyn got the charges reduced to disorderly and the 4th Habitual dropped as well. My sentence was just $150.00 fine and no probatio, no jail. It was a great outcome and I am completely satisfied with her representation. If you want a no nonsense lawyer, that is familiar with the way Livingston County does business I'd highly recommend her.

Dave is wonderful! He is a very patient and caring attorney. He always puts children first, which is great! Even though the ex and I didn't get along he would not play into the silly fighting amongst us. He stayed focused on the things that were important and it was the children - not material things. Wonder how much Kizer paid to get all the negative reviews about Steve taken off Google. Good thing I have them screenshot from a few yrs ago still. Been looking for a lawyer to help me battle the UIA and a fraudulent collector from out of state. Kizer popped up but I laughed at the fact I have thee worst possible charge on my record I could ever get as an older adult female. Panic Attack with proof of medication = Resisting I guess. Thanks Steve you're welcomed for your 6k you took and I cried while I signed a (lesser than a felony becuz I didn't have any ever)plea knowing he could had fought with proof I had for a medical condition. So glad to hear he is gone but for what I paid I deserve a free consultation at this point. Smh Be careful they hire scammers.

She explained everything well in our initial phone conversation, was clear about her fee agreement and was quick to respond to any concerns that I had. She did not know my case. Didn't talk to the other lawyer about the case or try to handle it though the other lawyer. She even call my by a different name in court. Total unprepared in front of the judge. Would not refund any money.

I hired Heather over a year ago. She has went through various staffing issues. Unresponsive in returning emails or phone calls. Heather doesn’t hold herself accountable for not filling motions with the court, instead she chooses to blame her client and belittles them. Unprofessional behavior swearing and threatening towards her clients. I would never recommend her to anyone.

We needed an attorney for a child custody issue. Had court in December he misplaced the required documents needed to file and Finally got around to filing them in AUGUST of the next year. Not acceptable at all. Perhaps a better criminal lawyer but family, not so much. Very disappointed overall.

While he gave some good advice, I didn't feel that he thoroughly listened to my concerns. He was twenty minutes late to my appointment, his office was in desperate need of a cleaning, his secretary was wearing a shirt that bared her midriff, and he waltzed in wearing a t-shirt and sweatpants. His secretary made small talk with me about how she manages a bar in the evenings while we waited for him to return to his office.
I sought his legal advice as I had been raped and abused in a previous relationship, and currently am incredibly concerned for my safety. Yet the entire time I spoke to him his eyes were on my chest.
When I inquired about the process for a PPO, he told me to get a gun, lean in if my ex ever came near me so I could show police bruises, and just move on with my life because I have no reason to be in contact with him. (Exactly! That's why I need help from the law to tell him that!)
Needless to say I will be seeking further counsel from other attorneys.
