This kind man saved my mother at her most vulnerable moment when she was in the process of being a victim of an elaborate scam.
I know a lot about common scams and phishing attempts… What my mom experienced seemed quite sophisticated compared to the typical Indian call center stuff.
Christopher took the opportunity to help a random stranger in distress and take care of the problem simply for the joy of taking down a bad guy.
By the story my mom told me, he is one hell of a character! Anyone who gets to work with Christopher is lucky to have him on their side; He doesn’t mess around.

Real life Harvey Specter
Chris is probably the best defense lawyer in the entire state. Graduated from an Ivy League law school, with more than 4 decades of legal experience, Chris uses his expertise to help everyone with their case to his best ability. I made a good decision by switching from Tracey Wood & Associates to Chris, as he turned my case 180 degrees, in the right direction.
During the latter half of my case, I started watch the show "Suits", and I think he is very comparable to the main character Harvey Specter. HE WILL DO EVERYTHING TO GET YOU THE BEST RESULT. He fights tirelessly, tries every approach, and gives you the best advices. While Chris is not a magician, and he does not have a crystal ball, he performs miracles for me time after time. (From getting me excused to court dates because I am attending school out of state, to going beast mode against the prosecutor in court and winning big).
The day after my last court date, I sent Chris an email saying that "It felt like I was playing alongside with MJ on the 96' Bulls". I was so happy and I appreciate his help greatly.
I am very impressed with Chris' work and I believe you would too.

When I needed to get custody of my daughter quickly I was referred to Ginger at Your Family Law Center. She met with my wife and I promptly to discuss the situation we found our daughter in. Not only was she able to find information about my ex and her husband to properly paint the picture of horror my daughter was living in. But with her incredible work we were granted exactly what we needed to provide our daughter with a more stable and healthier home environment. I would highly recommend Ginger, so much so that I have already referred a family member to her services. Ginger was kind and understanding with my ex's situation but demanded no nonsense in the matter of our daughter's safety.

Attorney fell asleep during initial consultation. Took a huge retainer for a complicated divorce case and did not filed motions appropriately or in a timely manner. He does not have any paralegals or staff working in his office. He missed important deadlines for my case that cost me more money to hire a different attorney to correct the mistakes of this representation. Most of his filings contained errors and misspellings. He comes to the hearings unprepared and hardly defended me in the 2 hearings he appeared in. He made a lot of promises and did not deliver as promised. He was involved in another case against him before the same Judge in my case that he had knowledge of before accepting to represent me in my case and failed to disclose this information. Being a new attorney on my case that took 2 years to finalize, he agreed with opposing party on deadlines and made decisions regarding my case without consulting with me. He was not reachable by phone and only responded by email of course. He sent me an outrageous billing entrees for items the attorney did not perform during the representation. His most recent google reviews were negative from clients who also expressed concerns for dishonesty with this attorney.

I had dealt with Mr. Jacobson a while back with my own legal endeavors and I couldn't ask for a better client to attorney relationship. Lawyers nowadays are always incredibly rude and almost never take the time to know the client they are dealing with. I hired Mr. Kenyon in both a civil and criminal defense case regarding Marijuana and DUI. I've found that Charles did not keep proper notes regarding my case, as I've had to constantly remind him of what took place on the day of my arrest. During a suppression hearing regarding evidence, he admitted evidence we were trying to suppress. He was regularly late for court, and was not at his office at times we scheduled meetings. In the end, I had to fire Mr. Kenyon and appoint a public defender. Definitely not worth the $6k flat fee retainer.

I was arrested at 5 a.m on a Saturday morning and I asked a family member to find an attorney for me. She contacted Mr. Kenyon. He was extremely responsive and met with me over the weekend to set my expectations, gather facts, and begin formulating a strategy.
He met with me again early Monday morning, briefed me on the steps he had taken, and once again did a fine job of ensuring I knew what would be happening over the next few days.
As it turns out, my charges were dropped a few hours later, but it was clear that Mr. Kenyon was an excellent choice and had a firm grasp of dealing with the legal process, and developing a strategy for my defense. I would highly recommend him.

My only regret was not using Keith first. I had gone with another firm that had been recommended to me by a few different friends. After watching my original attorney sit silently as I was removed from my house, lost my kids, and had to pay the mortgage and ALL the bills, I knew I needed a new attorney. Enter Keith Wessel. Not only was he able to reverse the damage my original attorney had done, he was able to cut through the games and drama my ex wife's attorney had been using. He worked well with the Social Worker, the Court Commissioner, and Judge. He has the knowledge and experience to navigate any situation and is very personable and easy to work with through the difficult circumstance that is divorce. I trust him completely. Excellent communication and response to any questions I had. He is worth his rate and it was money well spent. I would not hesitate to recommend Keith to anyone. My experience with Keith Wessel can be described only as outstanding!

Sarah is incredibly knowledgeable about divorce law, is very professional as well as organized and detail-oriented. However, my ex employed a lawyer from Cordell & Cordell, who overall employed a very aggressive approach. I'm not sure Sarah is the best person to go head-to-head with another lawyer like this. I certainly think Sarah could have been proactive at times, as it seemed we were constantly on the defense responding to the other side, rather than being proactive and being one step ahead of the other side. It never seemed as if we had the upper hand throughout the entire divorce process. I paid Sarah tens of thousands of dollars for my divorce. However, when I reached out to her with one question I had after the divorce was finalized and she was no longer representing me, I never even got the courtesy of a reply email or phone call back. The lack of a reply seemed unprofessional to me. Also, Sarah told me many times that I wouldn't' be charged for this call or that email, but that wasn't the case. Perhaps it is because of a lack of transparency, but I believe I paid for things that I was told I wouldn't have to. Lastly, she told me that we could negotiate the remaining $18,000 I owed, but later that day when my divorce was finalized, she just sent me a bill for $18,000. More follow through on things said, especially when it comes to billing, is needed.

I can't say enough good things about Sonia Komisar. I just received the discharge notice for my chapter 7 bankruptcy, and I feel such relief and hope again. Sonia is outstandingly competent, kind and meetings that could have been drudgery are almost fun! She presents as non-judgmental and accepting, even in situations where being shocked an appalled would certainly be justified. She makes you feel like you are OK and supported. Her fees are fair and reasonable and she responds quickly to messages and calls. Sonia is straight-forward, honest and so knowledgeable. She did great job and got it done! There we're certain "special" circumstances that we had to deal and she did a great job coaching me and other party what we needed to do. I know it wasn't the easiest B to do, and would like to think she's had worse. In the end I came out much better than expected. Mario was always available to me throughout the stress of board related issues. He was compassionate with my coping with this stress and very knowledgeable about the board’s workings. She seems to be working for the other side and collecting the money from me for doing nothing for me, but for my ex. Communication is terrible....she has difficulty keeping dates & times strait....with no respect for my work schedule....shows up late to hearings and seems confused/lost on what to do in court. Documentation that would have supported me in court was ignored by her. So, if your ok with your divorce dragging on for years at her expensive rate~hire her! It was more stressful having her as my attorney and keeping up with her demands with no results!

Her legal knowledge was in serious question when she argued that her witness need not be cross examined because the other party did not subpoena to crossexamination. Basic court procedures is a party calls a witness and then the other party has a right to cross examine or the witnesses testimony is invalid.

My brother hired this firm to handle his divorce. From the very beginning it was a bad decision. The first hearing was handled by an attorney in their office he had never even spoken to before, the guy showed up minutes before the hearing unprepared causing the need for another hearing. He then showed up at this hearing with all of the documentation needed to fix his original blunder, which by the way my brother paid for by needing to have another hearing which they charged him for. He proceeded thru this hearing and totally forgot to speak on one of the reasons he was there and the judge made her judgement leaving an order in place that should’ve never been. So another hearing was needed which again they charged him for. Time after time throughout the divorce they have dropped the ball, too many to list in this review. Long story shorter he ended up paying them over $30k and had a balance of $4k with an agreement he was paying. They decided to drop him as a client with less than a month to go before the final trial leaving him without an attorney knowing it would cost no less than $10k to get another. I’ve never been around a bigger group of blood sucking vultures in my life.

I hired attorney Kathleen Hessel to help me with a contempt hearing. From the start, Ms. Hessel was not looking out for my best interests. She did not offer concrete steps I could take. I had to require her to take my offers to the other side. I was able to do that myself. It was a complete waste of money for me to hire this law firm.
