If you're on the fence about hiring an attorney go no further. I spent 23 years in Law Enforcement watching subpar attorneys in polyester suits walk into the courtroom and get minimal results for their clients. Unfortunately I had to reach out to Seema but it was the best decision I've ever made, her prices were fair because I did check around. I watched her maneuver around the courtroom with the Commonwealth attorneys and other attorneys she seemed to be well respected and got me the best result I could possibly get. I will urge you if you're looking for an attorney this is not the time to go cheap or on your own. She may give you some tough love but what she says will help you in the end. LGBTQIA+ has true supporter in her.

I haven't had a ticket in almost 20 years. Then I got a reckless driving ticket and was facing 5 points on my license and a substantial fine. Ms. Ruchandani was able to get this reduced from reckless to speeding and NO suspension. I just had to pay a fine. Five stars!!! Thank you!!

I often encounter Shawn in court and he always conducts himself professionally and ethically. He is extremely knowledgeable, and I feel that Shawn really does have the best interest of his clients in mind. He is not an attorney that just wants to settle cases and move on. I often consult with him about legal issues, and he is always able to produce proper legal advice.
Additionally, he has a wonderful relationship with the Judges and that goes a long way in criminal defense.

Mike took my pre-existing case when my previous lawyer had a schedule conflict. Right out the gate, Mike made things extremely clear. I have spent two years fearful and worried about my custody case. In just a few days, Mike laid out the VA Code for custody, clearly explaining how things would go and what the rules are. This brought me such relief, as no one had ever done that. He listened to my fears, reassured me with the law, and worked quickly to get up to speed on my case with just about 2 weeks time to work. He was VERY good in the courtroom, his questioning of my ex husband helped show the court his true colors, and ultimately, he helped me protect my children from added time with their unstable and unreliable parent. Mike is an excellent and clear communicator, respectful and kind, has empathy, but gets the job done and knows how to deal with lying narcissists.

Corrie was incredible to work with, you can believe everything they say on their website. She treated me and my divorce case with compassion, respect, understanding, and honesty. In my opinion, honesty shouldn't be understated in today's world. I happily settled in mediation. She was very well prepared for any eventuality that could come up. We used most of her preparation too. The opposing attorney wasn't as well prepared, and it made all the difference in the world for me and my case. Kim is one of the best divorce lawyers in the area in my opinion. My case involved a high conflict person with personality disorders who manipulated our son and the system to her advantage. After having another lawyer not present my evidence at trial, I hired her. She stands out because she became intimately involved with my case, was available for offering advice on off-hours, knows technology, was realistic, knew how to negotiate, and helped me change my perspective for better results. Kim was able to get me the best results, and now offers an effective and potentially fruitful path forward that may get my son back.

Vanessa and her team walked me through what was the most complicated circumstance of my life. When I shared the story of my circumstance, she asked many questions about home life behavior and immediately made recommendations to rule out other factors relevant to a divorce proceeding. The plan which was put in place uncovered information I was completely blind to and provided me the detail to begin the fight of my life... for my children.
She was responsive, timely and thoughtful. I found it also valuable that she looped in other members of the firm to assist in answering questions regarding criminal actions to help me take make decisions on actions to take.

Tim knows his stuff. I had three charges, 2 misdemeanors, 1 felony, I was founf not guilty of one of the misdemeanors and the other two charges were dismissed. He also made it so that after I am able to expunge the arrests, so it is as if the incident never happened. I hope that I never have to use a lawyer for criminal charges again, but if I do I know I will be calling Tim.

Don is a straight talker. He is the kind of attorney that you want in your corner. I appreciated Don's style a lot and I wish I could have hired him. In my situation, we could not reach an agreement on the fees. If that were not an issue, then Don is the person to get results. You definitely do not want him as an opposing counsel.

I found her thru my company Group Legal program and boy am I glad I did. My case is interstate with me living in NC and the NCP in VA. Sadly my NCP is what they call a "runner", which made the case extremely difficult and time consuming. I hired Mrs. Hardy off our first phone call. I was out of sight and had never met her till our first hearing, but she was someone that I trusted off her knowledge and professionalism. I was not disappointed.
My case was about 7 mos long with a lot of motions and issues, but she was diligent and efficient. She didn't waste time or money and was always willing to find the time to talk and explain the legal issues of my case. I was not a good client because I thought I knew what I was doing, I was emotional and at times very hard to deal with. It didn't phase Mrs. Hardy at all. She listened and advised in the best manner for my child. She Won. She is a winner.. She changed my life and the life of my child. She made the difference and that's exactly what you want when you are dealing in Family matters. Its scary to go to court but having an experienced and professional attorney who is compassionate and patient, changes the whole process. Being out of state made it even more difficult and nerve racking and of course the court system is very slow. I was able to put my faith in her, while continuing my life in NC. I did not have the resources to go back and forth to court and I left it all in her capable hands and she lead me to Victory and an extremely excellent outcome. She got justice for my child and that has no price tag.
I plan to use her if my case is appealed. I highly recommend this lawyer.

Beth Chavez is not your typical attorney who i just out to make money. She is one of the few that actually cares about not just her clients but the people she speaks with. I recently had a child support modification that the other party wanted to do discovery and waste a lot of time and money. I consulted with Beth who listened to me and at the end of the consultation gave me advise on how to push back on the opposing side to have this wrapped up without litigation or discovery. This consultation and advice saved me thousands of dollars that Beth could have obtained but instead she is a compassionate attorney who is in the business for the right reason! I know at some point i will need to hire another attorney and it WILL be Beth! Thank you again!

We were trying to prepare for our case and David kept putting us off for weeks up until 40 minutes before our case where he briefed the defendant and when the time came, David was prepared, our defendant wasn’t prepared, and upon hindsight and discussion with other defense attorneys, there was so much more that David could have done that he didn’t do and was ill prepared for. Please if you’re considering an attorney, think twice before picking David. At the end of the day it’s you and your case and your lives on the line, not his. He certainly didn’t give it his all in our case and left us high and dry when we scrambled for answers. He told the defendant to plead guilty and we were misled to think that it would be better but it costed him the rest of his life. He didn’t take that into account and it was clear he didn’t care

We were trying to prepare for our case and David kept putting us off for weeks up until 40 minutes before our case where he briefed the defendant and when the time came, David was prepared, our defendant wasn’t prepared, and upon hindsight and discussion with other defense attorneys, there was so much more that David could have done that he didn’t do and was ill prepared for. Please if you’re considering an attorney, think twice before picking David. At the end of the day it’s you and your case and your lives on the line, not his. He certainly didn’t give it his all in our case and left us high and dry when we scrambled for answers. He told the defendant to plead guilty and we were misled to think that it would be better but it costed him the rest of his life. He didn’t take that into account and it was clear he didn’t care

The staff at Tobias Iszard are much more responsive. This young lady is the total package. She has the looks and brains to make things happen for you. She is very meticulous and direct, but honestly her most intriguing attribute as a lawyer is her sense of care. We've been through 3-4 lawyers in the matter of custody and a lot of times it's just a job for them. They speak the good game when trying to reel in your business, but as soon as you sign, you become another case number in their books.
