Elissa was so incredibly patient with me. She really walked me through every little step of the divorce process. I was a first timer dealing with lawyers, courts, custody etc. She was always there to be a sounding board whenever I needed her. I got exactly what I wanted... 50/50...children deserve both parents in their lives !!!!

I went to Attorney Vaughan for a Family Situation, and a Criminal Situation. Basically I could've lost my job, apartment, and children, however, Attorney Vaughan, and G.V. Law Group made sure that I did not loose anything. The end result was charges dismissed, and I have my children, and my job still. This man is a walking blessing!!!

After my first consultation I knew Attorney Vaughan was the attorney for me. I told him my story and how I couldn't believe the charges against me. After I took a deep breath, and shed a couple of tears, he thoroughly explained the best options for me to beat all charges I was facing. I left each consultation feeling reassured that I was in great hands. During trial, Attorney Vaughan did not fall short of expectations. Ned wasn’t bad. He cared I could tell. Kathleen didn’t. I paid over 20,000 in less than 6 months. Our court date came and I had no attorney to stand by my side. I was told I had a balance of another $4000. This was days before our hearing. Take that for what’s it worth. Don’t come here.

Jennifer Dayton worked with me. My future ex wife made false accusations of domestic abuse and was trying to get a protective order. I refused to just roll over and let her get away with it. Mrs Dayton was very clear how hard it is for a man to defend himself against such allegations and gave me no false hope. But she lessened to me and took her time with the preparation of my case and got the best results caught my wife in lie after lie by the time she was done getting the truth my wife’s lawyer didn’t even have a reason to question me. I wouldn’t use them again, not proactive at all and gave bad advice at the start of the child custody case. Waste of $30k+ in my opinion. You have to constantly chase them to do stuff, they say they will do it and then don’t which puts you at a disadvantage and long term consequences. They are always on the back-foot at every step and then asking for more money to continue representing you because the used it all up putting out a fire. They are not upfront with expected costs of a case end or how to budget for one and will spring sudden demands for $10k to continue. If you have a child custody case or divorce where you are the defendant I would suggest you look elsewhere for a lawyer or more realistically, behave like adults and sit down and settle with your ex and stop feeding the family law pig…..

Mr.dodd handled a simple case for me between me and my disgruntled landlord... only had a week to handle my case, he came in that court room professionally and with provision. Walked out telling myself " there will never be a lawyer I will call but him" I did my research and talk to multiple lawyers before him, yes he is more expensive 🫰 but if you want to a lawyer "WORKS" for you... he is the one!! He actually looks at your case ,study's it and walks in law books 📚 on hand... nothing says I'm here to do business then a 👞 man suit tie and briefcase in law books ! Hiring someone that's been a prosecutor before becoming a defense attorney will ALWAYS be your best bet 🙏... doing your research will ALWAYS lead you to Dodd if you do your research 👍 Right

Barret represented me many years ago when he took Mark Chandlee's office when he went to be a judge. He did nothing that I asked and simply took the money and never did a thing until the day of court where he presented me with a crappy offer that I actually told him well before court that was exactly what I did not want. The more I look into the laws the more irritated I get because not only could we have beat it but we could have shown how my rights were violated when the cops arrested me for cursing at someone. Considering filling a formal complaint.

READ THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS FIRST they are very true! This law firm is HORRIBLE! They do not return calls, they do not give case updates. They’ll work on your case as slow as possible and not give any updates along the way. Any info I found out about my case was through the courts because this law firm WILL NOT contact you about anything. Called multiple times, left multiple messages and still NO CALL BACK, very unprofessional to say the least. Going through the reviews I see I’m not the only one this has happened to. Those other reviews have got to be fake.

I had the pleasure of having my first case professionally handled by Mary. Unfortunately I received the total opposite when I returned for a second case. But my luck obviously ran out! Jenelle made me regret returning to this firm, and for referring any family or friends. I was in an accident in February and have been trying to get in contact with Jenelle for over a month now to get an update on my case. Nick was great. We had some difficulties with communication due to the fact that the only way I could contact anyone was through email. Otherwise, I had to leave a message at the office and wait for somebody to call me back. Other than that, Nick sat down with me, went over all of my evidence, and listened to everything that I had to say. Before court, we sat down again, and I was able to make sure that we were on the same page before walking into the courtroom. Nick hit on every topic we discussed while in the hearing. He was great!

The experience I have had with this firm for my mother has been awful. This firm claims it works for the best interest of my mother. But in her case they care nothing about a person wellbeing or to keep black families together. My mother almost died from a fentanyl overdose under the care of the state. That her so called lawyers agreed to do!! I took care of my mother over 20 years that didn’t matter to this firm. Anything negative they try to use that instead of really caring for her. I’m sure they worked with the racist social worker at the hospital to make it that way. Good Job King Hall!!

Dawn has represented myself and my children in a family law matter, for the past five years. The only thing that I wound change is getting her to start the process in the first place. I had a previous attorney and my case was just too complex for him. Dawn was able to take it on with no trouble. Dawn is compassionate towards her clients and she is smart in the court room! She is also honest with you. Basing her information on case law, as opposed to gut, she tells you when she believes something is not going to go your way and why. I appreciate that she does not just tell me what I want to hear and take my money. Instead of stopping there, Dawn has brainstormed and researched ways to resolve our situation, that I had never considered. Ideas that she was certain that she would win in the court room and she has. Dawn listens to her clients wants and needs, while adding her professional wisdom as well. Dawn does not just do what a client says to do, knowing that it will not work or that there are other solutions possible. Dawn discusses with you various ways in which to be successful in your case. What you want walking into her office the first time, may not look exactly the same the last time you walk out of the courtroom. You will, however, have a case that has been won and will have what you and your family both need and deserve. Dawn will be my attorney until my daughter turns 18. Ms. Bayne is a phenomenal family law attorney! My wife and I have been her clients since 2015 and from the get go she listened and empathized. She is real and transparent; providing the proper strategy and letting you know every course of action along the way. We had very difficult cases, especially our contested adoption case. She went above and beyond for us and she will go above and beyond for you. We really enjoyed our strategy sessions with her where we would lay out different options, analyze the pros and cons, and then make a decision for the best way forward with backup options at the ready. She represented my children in a custody case and did not respect both mine, my ex’s, or my children’s wishes. My children were in tears after each time they saw her and were very unhappy with her approach. This layer continued to call them stupid and idiotic. DO NOT HIRE HER!

The worst communication I have ever encountered, iv been his client for 3years and getting him to answer my emails or return my calls is impossible. I have to be on his a** in order for him to do what I paid him for. My wife's I130 was approved in September 2015 by November 2015 we had the ds260 packet complete and ready for immigration to review it. In mid March I still had not gotten an answer from uscis so I called Mr. Johnsons office turns out they never sent my wife's packet in, it just sat in a drawer for over 4 months and to top it of they lost some of the material in the packet. I had to update the info in the packet 2015 taxes, pictures ect, which cost me time and money because some of the things I had to have delivered from South America. Today is 4/11/2016 and we finished updating the packet info last week, Iv been calling and emailing him since last Friday to see if they delivered the ds260 packet yet with no answer I finally got in touch with him today and asked him. His response was "I don't " know" I'm still waiting for him to get back to me. He doesn't care about his clients. Save yourself the headache go somewhere els. I regret every Pennie I spent on this guy($2,500+)

I hired Mr. Johnson in 2013 for my first green card when I was undocumented. Few months later, without any hassle, I got my first green card. Then, 2 years later I hired him again to get my permanent green card. Was a smooth process again. During the process, I need his help when I was out of the country and had difficulties to come back. I have known Mr. Soukup for decades and have sent him many clients. In each, and every, instance Mr. Soukup has done a wonderful job. He is very reasonably priced, polite, intelligent, and effective. He knows his law and is well respected by judges and other lawyers. I think he is great!

First, the one person who gave a bad review is obviously lacking intelligence. The review does not sound like Gerry at all, and spelling the word 'rude' as 'rood' does not help the reviewer's credibility. A while back I had a situation where my ex was filing false charges against me almost monthly in an effort to get custody and support. Just like on TV, Gerry skillfully picked apart my ex's claims and made her look ridiculous in front of several judges. Eventually my ex was told that if I ended up in their court again, SHE would be the one going to jail. If I had been given a public defender, I may have gotten 20 years or more in prison. Because of Gerry, I only spent about 7 days total in jail (one or two days for every time she made false claims to get me arrested). Not only that, Gerry won for me full custody of my children. If you have ANY type of domestic issue, Gerry should be your first call.
