Never going through a divorce before, I had no idea what was in store. “Your case is far from the norm”. For years, this is what I have heard, not only my attorneys, but from two Chester County judges and therapists/professionals in the double digits. My divorce and custody case was/is far from the norm. It has turned out to be a very challenging, trying, and emotional divorce/custody matter since 2013. Every step of the way, LaMonaca Law has been there for me in every possible way.
Being falsely accused of matters that separates a parent their child is one of the most difficult and emotional situations a parent can go through. It is also one of the hardest things to combat and expose the truth, especially as a father and especially when the falsely accusing parent has an agenda to rid the falsely accused parent from the child’s life forever. This has been my situation.
After hearing my story and studying my case, Greg and his staff had complete faith in me and what I was fighting for. This was/is so important to me, because without that faith and belief in me and my cause, LaMonaca Law would not be involved in my case.
My case has been, and still is, a very difficult and emotional experience for not only me, but my family and loved ones. Greg and his staff have and keeps me grounded and focused on what I need to do to get through difficult times. I would highly recommend Chris Casserly for any family law matter! He is responsive, knowledgeable and will spend the time to understand your situation. I can’t even begin to explain how lucky and grateful I am to have Chris Casserly in my life. My son was taken from me and my world was turned completely upside down. I was in such a panic to try and figure out what to do, and out of fate was led to chris. I thank god that I was because he has been nothing short of amazing since. I had an impossible case where I lost terribly every time I went to court. Eventually I would run out of money and then I would have to represent myself until I had enough money to get another lawyer. This went on for 10 years. Finally I met someone who was friends with one of the most powerful lawyers in Philadelphia. Through him, I was referred to Robert DiOrio. When I went into Mr. DiOrio's office, I could not see my children at all. I was only allowed to speak to them on a speaker phone with my ex-husband listening. This went on for about a year. He had gotten an Emergency Custody Petition that was granted without a hearing. He had used this tactic a total of four times and the order of his choice was signed every time without a hearing. I had been a full time mother with small children. I never guessed that I would lose my children when attempted to escape my abusive marriage. Later I found out the 94 percent of women who leave their abusive husbands lose custody and most of them are given supervised visitation. When Robert DiOrio heard about my case and saw the court order, he was outraged. He took my case to court and I got custody of my children. I went from nothing to everything. Lawyers in the past told me the best I could ever get was joint because you can't go from nothing to everything. Robert DiOrio did and he won. Since that time, we were in court again and Robert Diorio won an even greater victory. I respect him and am so grateful for the time I now have with my children. I never want another lawyer.

I chose Phyllis Bookspan to help me through my divorce because I wanted a barracuda with a heart. When I looked at her background, I was impressed with her credentials (Georgetown Law-I knew she would be intelligent and hard-working) but also knew she would be the right lawyer for me because of her background in Yoga and Mindfulness. I walked into her office looking for a collaborative divorce, but when she heard my history she put down her notes and clearly told me exactly why that would be the wrong decision. Gordon was my 3rd consultation, so how different he is, stood out immediately, and I knew right away that I found just what I needed. He is compassionate, passionate about his clients well being, incredibly fair, always there when needed, and a great sense of humor, when direly needed. My divorce dragged out for 4 yrs, from my spouses end, with him going through 4 attorneys, so I got to know Gordon very well. Gordon Brown is a one in a million, you could not ask for a better lawyer to fight for your child/children. He puts his heart in his work and once you meet him there is no questioning that. He makes you feel comfortable in the court room and really fights for what he believes is the best interest for the child. He is a genuine person which is truly rare in most lawyers. Mike handled my divorce. Mike's service was absolutely fantastic. Divorces can be contentious between parties at times and Mike was very consistent in providing sound advice and helped me maintain perspective-keeping me centered/focused on the outcome. His business background serves as a great advantage when negotiating the asset and property split. He is a skilled strategist who keeps the client's first. His fee structure is very fair- especially when you consider the team you get working for you. Mike is interested in getting closure to the legal process- not stretching the process out.
Mike also advised me on some additional personal matters which I appreciated immensely.

We have been using Aimee since 2006 when we first contacted her to obtain custody of our grand daughter. In that time she has provider execellent services to us in obtaining custody, getting the father to provide child support and eventually in getting the father and mother to finally give up their parental rights so that we could adopt her. Aimee also helped us in preparing our wills so that all our childern, both natural and adopted, would be equitably taken care of when we died. She also helped in setting up the legal and medical care of my wife's physically and mentally challenged younger brother. I was facing serious charges a year ago. I hired a private lawyer but they were not really helpful. I was going through hearings without really feeling I was being helped by my attorney. Then it got to a point where they needed more money to proceed with the case. I was feeling hopeless. They asked for a ridiculous amount of money that I did not have and they were not really helpful to begin with. So I started looking for another lawyer to help my situation. My uncle, through a lawyer friend of his recommended Steven Omeara. After going with Mr. Omeara i totally lost that feeling of hopelessness that I had. Steven was very helpful and fought very diligently for me. He was always on top of things. He is a well recognized lawyer and I must say that I got a first hand look as to why he is so sought after. Steven helped me get into a program where they will expunge my charges upon completion. The previous lawyer I had failed to get me into the program but Steven did. I couldnt be where Im at without Steven Omeara. And I highly recommend him for all your legal matters.

When I had my second DUI, Mr.Martini was very helpful. He got me the lowest penalty. I did no jail time for my second offense but I was on house arrest for 10 days, had to take classes (wasn't too bad), 80 hours community service, and . This was not bad considering the many people I talked to during my community service either had to do some amount of time in jail for a second DUI offense or they had house arrest for 30-60 days, some even had both. I managed not to drink and drive anymore, it's really not worth risking the lives of others besides a lot of money I had to put out.

Mr. Berman was very patient and really paid attention when I explained my problem to him. He beautifully presented my case in court against a contractor I hired to renovate and build a wing on my house. Reading the 2 reviews listed, I wonder if they had the same attorney! I guess all divorces are painful and mine was not an exception but he handled my divorce with compassion, dignity and objectivity. He was more like a trusted adviser rather than a lawyer, always explaining my options and possible outcomes. He's not a "killer shark" - he's more like a cool headed individual but I always knew he was in there fighting for me.
My ex hired a big city lawyer from Philadelphia and she paid through the nose for her services. Mike was there when I needed him and in the end I paid a fraction of what my ex paid in legal fees.
