We were being sued. Tim, Roger and Kristina were a great team. Tim wrote a letter to the other Attorney for the plaintiff and made it clear it would hurt their case to sue us. My Attourney’s were aggressive and the cost was very reasonable. The team took care of this in 4 weeks. I will provide this law group to anyone needing a good firm! I contacted Sylvina and eventually hired her to help me finalize matters still lingering from my court ordered Settlement Conference. These unresolved matters come after many years of litigation and many judge changes. She worked really hard to bring herself up to speed on this case and help me to bring these matters to the new Commissioners (previous Judge retired) attention. The Commissioner re-ordered the Trustee to do the same things the previous Judge had ordered. He complied with some but, not all of those orders. Again, and again throughout the settlement process this Trustee has failed to do his duty. We were forced to take the Trustee to court in order to get him to fully comply. Sylvina did her best to enlighten the court as to the issues that the Trustee had ignored...sadly, our court system is broken, and this Trustee breached his duties and the terms of the stated wills again. I am still trying to understand how a person can meet with their attorney and have Will(s) drawn up - which clearly stated his wishes and, when those wishes are not complied with by the Trustee, our court system doesn't hold them accountable. Sylvina did her job the best she could, and I enjoyed working with her.

The divorce dragged on for no good reason other than my spouse finding any way to make this last longer. At the end of the day the divorce worked out in my favor and exactly what Robert said would likely happen did as the same outcome that should have only taken a few months still happened even with my ex delaying the process. Overall, very reachable through appointments and overall just a good experience.

I am an attorney myself, in family law. A few months ago I began what has become an emotional roller coaster ride, and listening to the advice of others, I decided to take myself out of the court side and allow myself to focus on myself and children. Jennifer took the reins, and I haven't had a single regret since. She is hands down, one of the best I have ever worked with in this field. While we still sit and discuss the case, she has a way of seeing the picture that others would not, and has dealt with false accusations, difficult opposing counsel, and a plethora of underhanded tactics from opposing counsel. As a dad going into an uphill custody battle, I was terrified of what was to come. I had heard all the dad horror stories, of how they put up a fight but in the end the court system sided with mom and more child support was to be paid by the dad. The thought of coming out of this with a victory was a mear desire, and I was convinced that it would be like trying to find ET (only in the movies). But then this amazing person/lawyer was recommended by my wife. And everything changed after bringing her onboard with us to this uphill battle. Her incredible knowledge and attention to detail has been key to our outcome. For Karla there is no hour too late or task to daunting. In court she doesn’t back down from other lawyers while being attacked by them, and she stays a true professional at the same time. Out if court she has coached me, and helped me navigate the backlash that comes with these battles. This terrified, and hopeless dad won custody of his daughter thanks to Karla, and her undying, relentless efforts to get us an unprecedented victory. Met Lionel through Fasttrackdivorce.com. Pure chance selection from a list of attorneys practicing non-adversarial family law. Lionel is a very approachable individual with a deferential personality. The collaborative process we started did not succeed in the end, but Lionel, during the course of the two years it lasted, warned and coached me, first with a view to success, then, when it became apparent that collaboration was failing, he spelled out approaches to take in order to proceed with as much success as would be possible. He seems unique in that he took the initative to treat us all to snacks/lunch. He was always prepared, friendly, very knowledgeable of the law, and in no way shied away from voicing his opinion. I had a very sticky situation. I feared for my safety and my daughters life because of the very unsteady history her father put us all through. I met with Jan 2 months before I separated from my husband and she was so right when she said that I would "wake up one day and know that it was over". That was the day that I called her, ready for her to represent me and help me in this process. Divorce is not easy, it's sticky and heartbreaking.. Mr. Stapley is a knight in shining armor! Okay, that may be a bit dramatic, but at the time, I sure felt like he'd come to my rescue. I'm no princess, and the boss I was trying to figure out how to escape was no dragon. She was more like... Cinderella's evil step mother. I taught music at her school. Without an exhaustive retelling of my woeful tale, may it suffice to say my boss made my life completely miserable for about 2 years, and just about killed my love for music. Adding insult to injury, she tried to make it impossible for us to leave and find work elsewhere by forcing me and my fellow teachers there to sign a non-compete contract stating that if our employment at her school was ever terminated, we had to agree not to teach music anywhere in the area she claimed for a year from the day our employment with her was terminated. The contract threatened us with an expensive lawsuit if we were to try to teach anyway. So basically, if we didn't want to work for her anymore, or if she "terminated" our employment herself, we would not be able to work in our profession for a year unless we moved to a different city. (The area she claimed was better than 50 miles around!) Mr. Stapley consulted with me and reviewed her contract, confirming that her contract was not only ridiculous, it was not legally binding. He gave me the tools I needed to walk into her office and quit with confidence, knowing I'd be safe from her threats afterwards. Because of Mr. Stapley's assitance, I escaped! I am now very happily employed and rediscovering what I love at a different music school!
