Called needing assistance with estate planning help for my sick father. Was told I would get a call the next Monday. Monday, no call. Called Tuesday and again asked for assistance. I’m out of state and needed to get things done while visiting my father in a 5 day span. Was told I’d be called “Right back” by receptionist. Have not yet received a call, over 1.5 days later. Of course would have appreciated a consultation and would have paid $$$ for things to proceed forward. If this agency treats everyone like this I’m surprised he has such good reviews. If they tell you they will call take with a grain of salt. Looking for a more reputable attorney that values a phone call and my time.

Jack Denton is among the most honorable and hardworking people I have met. I began helping my father with his divorce case in late 2021, and at the time, was frustrated by a different attorney’s lack of attention and focus on my dad’s case. I am my father’s power-of-attorney but live in Texas while dad still lives in Mississippi. My father has dealt with some cognitive decline in recent years and has a hard time keeping track of key details, so I knew I’d have to replace dad’s previous lawyer with one I could fully trust. I wanted to find a lawyer who didn’t know my family for various reasons, so I found Jack on Google and was immediately impressed with the large number of high ratings and positive reviews. I found one negative review but the context and complaint seemed laughable to me, and I was even more convinced at how outlandish that complaint was after I began interacting with Jack, myself. I called his office one day, and Jack spoke with me on the phone, at length, and gave me good (free) advice on how to try one last time with dad’s current lawyer at the time. He was complimentary of that other lawyer and gave me some context about the situation. He said he would be available if I chose to go a different route or things didn’t work out with that lawyer. Read that again: despite my explicit frustration with the previous lawyer, Jack didn’t swoop in to make a buck—he gave me sound advice on the next steps before I made a move to retaining him as dad’s lawyer. Long story short, I did, and Jack helped us navigate a final effort at negotiating with the other party in the divorce, helped us file necessary pleadings to push the process along, and gave all of us good and clear updates along the way, adapting to our unique needs because of my location and my dad’s memory difficulties. He helped shepherd us through some of the toughest months of my dad’s life, and sure enough, his advice and judgment was sound, time and again. He nudged us in the right direction at times, and advised against certain things at other times, and generally helped us keep the peace with the other party in the divorce. I can’t think of a better experience from a divorce attorney. He charged us far, far too little for the quality of service he provided, and that’s the truth. Jack Denton is a good lawyer and an even better person, and I highly recommend him. I hear he does property title work, too. I just wish I had a house to buy in Mississippi to send more business his way. There are several good lawyers in south Mississippi, but Jack Denton has earned my full trust.

I am not from Mississippi and was very afraid about having a legal issue here as I had no connections or support. I found Mr. Jack Denton as a referral from a friend of a friend. I have never worked with a lawyer previous to this experience.
I originally contacted his office on a weekend, and his receptionist answered. She was incredibly kind and supportive and was able to schedule a consultation appointment within 24 hours. I met with Mr. Denton for that consultation and entered the room just terrified and overwhelmed by my current situation. He calmly and confidently explained how he would approach my situation and was incredibly supportive. He reassured me that this was easily something that we could handle. I immediately retained his services without hesitation. I left feeling relieved and calm.
We worked together for several months, during which time there were many ups and downs in the preparation for my case. This was out of both of our control and I was emotional at every turn. Mr. Denton always responded quickly to my questions with patience and support. He took care of everything immediately and responded with reasonable solutions that made the entire situation much more approachable and achievable. I feel that I should have paid much more for all of the work he put into my case and for how much advice he offered. I cannot put a value on the reassurance and security he provided.
Our case ended with the best possible outcome that I could have imagined. Having someone in my corner who not only knows the legal system in Mississippi but also has the experience and connections to gain better insight into my case and the realistic outcomes that I could expect made me feel confident. I was very impressed by this process and ecstatic with the outcome.
I wholeheartedly recommend Mr. Denton to anyone in need of legal services. He is kind, honest, patient, exceptionally capable, and well connected within the legal community.

The attorney Jared at Malouf schedule a consultation knowing he was not able or interested to help me. He said by the time of my appointment he will know what steps to take Bacause he was also consulting with another attorney friend about my situation. When we got there he still didn’t know what to do and told us that later that day will call us back with an answer after talking to his such friend attorney. It has been over a month and he didn’t had the decency to call me at least to tell me he couldn’t do any to for our case . Such a shameless he just stole my $500 consultation fee when I got nothing out of it . I called several time trying to reach him he was never in his office . I email him which he also didn’t answer.

Child custody case took are money 4500.00 dollar never returned calls or txt messages leaving us hanging, never got back with us on important paperwork that had to be completed for the case .
Causing us to retain new counsel. Costing us more attorneys fees. Will be reporting him to the MS bar association and BBB in hopes of recovering some of the cost. Beware of this attorney don’t know how he picks and chooses his prey :(

I live in Illinois and Mr. Clark was referred to me by a relative help with the dividing and selling family land. Mr. Clark assured me that everyting could be done through the mail, to keep me from having to travel to Mississippi. He did exactly that!! Help find a surveyer, prepared and overnight all documents that need to be signed. Receieved payment from the buyer and overnight my check. On top of that he charged a fraction of what a Illinois attorney would have charged.

Robert and Robin are a team that treats you as a person and listens and acts upon your legal troubles. Robert was successful in overcoming a denied hearing loss claim with the Federal Government. His and contacts research was instrumental in getting the Governments top appeals staff (Judges, not regular appeals people) to advise that my case was clearly legitimate.
Another time Robert and Robin met me at the nursing home where my Mother was at, to notarize some important papers. They came about 15 miles on their lunch hour and didn't charge me a dime for it.
