My husband and I were in a horrific accident that resulted in a near head on collision that completely totaled our truck and travel trailer. The insurance company for the driver, Elephant insurance, refused to pay some of the medical bills to include plastic surgery for the scars on my face, and repeatedly ignored my calls and emails over a two year period in an attempt to run through to the statute of limitations. I couldn’t find an attorney that would take my case. All with excuses, but with only one week to the deadline, I searched again and had the great fortune of finding and retaining Ms Hazel. All I can say is, wow. She jumped right in and investigated every possible avenue to get this situation resolved, to include my own insurance company that withheld funds. This is a gal that knows what she is doing and not afraid to go after those responsible. I’m in awe, and will absolutely recommend her to my family and friends. I hope I’m never in a situation like this again, but if I am, she will be my first phone call.

Our case was a weird case. Well, maybe more crazy than weird. Jennifer was AMAZING! She worked with us and listened to us even though we probably annoyed her with as much as we called and emailed. My initial impression of Tracie was that she was very direct and I appreciated that. Her knowledge about the opposing counsel and warnings about her were invaluable and her advice about what, when and how to reply to various communications were insightful and helpful. She was able to identify maneuvers that ultimately saved me a good amount of money.
Tracie's staff was equally competent in terms of efficiency and speed. Preliminary Disclosures and other paperwork were completed in a very short amount of time, and they were always very thorough about everything.
What sets Tracie apart from what I thought about attorneys is that she doesn't compromise her morals regarding decisions and it is her ability to balance efficiency and detail while ensuring I understood everything that was what impressed me the most.
Tracie is the exact opposite of the stereotypes I had about attorneys, and I'd recommend her to anyone considering her services.

Mr. Morley was recommended to us by a co-worker's wife who is also an attorney. He did not disappoint. We hired him for a child support/custody case that was transferred here from out of state. He immediately filed papers to guarantee that everything was now in the jurisdiction of the court here. He knows the laws and the judges. He quickly figured out the other party and knew exactly what direction to go and actions to take. He sent us a copy of everything so we could proof read it before it was filed or presented to the other party. He is on the expensive side but is well worth it! We took out 0% apr promotion credit cards to hire him and don't regret it. We learned our lesson a while ago that if you want a lawyer that does things right and is willing to fight to spend the money.

I hired Justin for my divorce and he did an amazing job. I initially had hired another attorney, who wasn't helping me or moving anything forward. A few months ago I started my divorce journey I didn't know where to start others was charging $500-5000 just to tell me how to amend my petition I found Mrs.Early on google she told me what I needed to do free of charge because it was so simple to just write amended on the petition. Today I had to come back for help with a judgment and she gave me so much more than what I expected have a 2 hr drive home but I had to stop and give a praise break because I left her knowing she cared enough about me and case she went above and beyond to make sure I get what I'm entitled to. I paid Gloria $50 for a consult on a real estate matter I had. I figured I was going to have to sue someone and she explained that if I hired her for anything more than the consult the $50 consult fee would go towards the next thing. She listened to me and explained how the law worked in my situation, then she did some internet research while I was there. Bottom line is, she told me in detail how to handle it myself and everything worked out great! Gloria is a wonderful attorney- I will use her for everything from now on!

I finally obtained another firm and cut my losses with Barbara. Believe me the loses were substantial.
She was ok until my ex hires a lawyer competent, motivated lawyer to oppose her. After that she became pretty much entirely unenvolved in with my case except to keep asking for new retainers repeatedly.
She proved to not care about much of anything but her own personal gain.
Don't put yourself or your childrens interest in her hands is my advice.

On a previous case with Mr Garcia I had to do all the footwork myself. I would call and he would usually not respond to my concerns or questions except for "okay". He also missed several meetings that he guaranteed me he would be at. In my current case I am requesting for a new lawyer because he does not believe in me and has been downright rude, during the adversary hearing there were many statements that the witnesses made that were not true or they were giving their personal opinions from what that they thought rather than knowing the actual true answer so when I was put on the stand Mr Garcia hardly asked me any questions and he asked me no questions that would have helped to contradict what the witnesses said. Afterward when I asked why he didn't his response was "it wouldn't have helped anyways the judge had already made up her mind". The outcome from the hearing was horrible and I've asked Mr Garcia many times what I can and should do and he basically gave me no suggestions even when I would suggest things he would answer with vague responses such as "you can try" or "if that's what you want to do". I have reached out to him repeatedly for advice or suggestions. I just need to be pointed in the right direction and he hasn't done anything to help at all. I am extremely disappointed because I am more than willing to do whatever it takes to turn my situation around and it's very obvious that he doesn't care, He doesn't believe in me, and has made it more than obvious that he doesn't want to be on the case. He's doing the bare minimum he has to do.

If you are looking for someone who is genuinely interested in helping you mediate a divorce, stay away from Phylis Offerman.
First of all, she kept us waiting for an hour just to get into our scheduled appointment. Of course, we have nothing better to do with our time than to wait on her.
Second, she isn't interested in any kind of good faith mediation. She basically spent all of 20 minutes telling me what I wanted wasn't going to happen and then she added a healthy dose of antagonism. Very classy.
There was no give and take or offer and compromise that you would expect from a "mediator".
Finally, you are graced with the pleasure of paying her $400 for being late, antagonizing you and offering no mediation help whatsoever. If you are having a Comal County divorce and need to go through mediation, stay far away from Phylis Offerman. She is a waste of your hard earned money!
I'm sure there are several other mediators who take their job seriously and act with professionalism.

Won't return calls are the least of your worries with this attorney. LITERALLY charged 3 times what other attorneys cost and when you need to speak to him, you might receive a call days later from an assistant who doesn't know anything either. Will offer suggestions that aren't applicable. The absolute worst experience I've ever encountered with a lawyer. Nightmare. Feels somewhat like he's not your attorney but rather extension of the prosecutions office.

Doesn't contact you when have court. I got a FTA because of him. Had to go back to jail. Doesn't have people skills. He would rather you plea out instead of going not guilty. He told me " I'm not going to fight a losing battle!". How the hell do you know it's a losing battle if you haven't heard my side. No paper work just his phone. All he shows you is what we already know.
