As we age, making sure that all of one’s affairs are in order, notarized and signed by not only you, but a legal representative and a witness can be an overwhelming task, and one that may put off until it is too late. When my wife and I decided to finally complete this task and began researching Law Firms to assist in this process we finally narrowed it down to the The New Mexico Legal Group located in Albuquerque, NM.
The New New Mexico Legal Group has a tremendous Staff of Receptionists, Paralegals, and Attorneys to help insure that your Estate Planning is exactly worded the way that you want your wishes to be followed when you can not say those words yourself. Samantha Day, Esquire, was the Attorney that my Wife and I connected with. We told her exactly what our wishes were and some even needed to be adjusted in a better manner and Samantha was very patient and understanding of our desires and wishes. We left feeling that we had been not only heard but understood. Within Two Weeks we had a complete Estate Plan that had the wording that was clear, understandable, and left no room to contest any scenario. There also is a page that allows us to make any changes as/if they occur. This Law Firm, and in particular, Attorney Samantha Day, really has the human part of what is needed when working as an attorney with a client regardless of the issue. Thank you New Mexico Legal Group for making something like Estate Planning feel as important as a High Profile Case.

Honestly, only in New Mexico do they incorrectly record your email and then blame you for it. I scheduled 3-4 consultations with them and then consistently never got a call. I was unable to make pre-payment because they had the wrong email (unbeknownst to me). In the end, they decided to decline rescheduling my appointment (likely due to the number of reschedules but, again, they should have taken the “hey I didn’t get your email” seriously and investigated). They wasted my time, and I would not recommend them.

Very unfortunate to have engaged with this law firm. Kam is a walking talking scam. He basically told me that my case was "a six figure case for him". That "whether I win or loose I get my money", he said. He pointed out to me an example of the lawyer representing the seller in my case who had written a very wordy response letter to my (at the time lawyer) Kam. He pointed out that the sellers lawyer was "milking the seller".The demand letter Kam wrote for me was also very wordy.🤷♀️ He also told me that I could be counter sued but "not to worry, he would represent me if that happened. "It will just cost you more money". I was stunned at his lack of professionalism and seeming greed. When I fired him I asked for copies of all my case documents that I painstakingly organized and sent him. He gave me a disk drive with 1/3 of the documents half of which were unreadable. I had to file a complaint to get my case file in total. Take your money and run.

Tiffany Oliver Leigh is unprofessional, accusatory, and can’t be trusted. She told me in an email “Moreover, there is no requirement that you know of their whereabouts at all times.” I’m the father of 2 boys and she is saying this. No requirement? My boys are both under age 18 and every parent, should be “required “ to know where their children are at all times. It’s kind of a LAW. A lawyer said this. She also told me “I’m not in the business of breaking families apart”, but her words and her actions do not match. My family has been torn apart since the first day she was hired. I submitted a formal complaint to the Supreme Court of New Mexico for her misconduct and horrible communication skills. I emailed her 3 weeks in advance, so that she wouldn’t be last minute making decisions. She didn’t even look at my email and responded 4 weeks later to accuse me of harassment and being a drunk driver. My driving record is impeccable. Not to mention , she had no response to the email I sent 4 weeks earlier. Please be very aware of this if you decide to hire her as your attorney and if she’s the opposing attorney, you are at her mercy as a lawyer and judge.

Samantha Day, Esquire, was the Attorney that my Wife and I connected with. We told her exactly what our wishes were and some even needed to be adjusted in a better manner and Samantha was very patient and understanding of our desires and wishes. We left feeling that we had been not only heard but understood. Within Two Weeks we had a complete Estate Plan that had the wording that was clear, understandable, and left no room to contest any scenario. There also is a page that allows us to make any changes as/if they occur. This Law Firm, and in particular, Attorney Samantha Day, really has the human part of what is needed when working as an attorney with a client regardless of the issue. Hello. I had a very unpleasant experience with Will Jenkins. Just because he passed the BAR and is well-versed in legal and lawyer jargon does not give him the right to bully me or speak to me in a disrespectful fashion.
I text him with a few qus re: personal property on a transaction he was overseeing and he started throwing words out like "breach of contract allows us to void the contract", "im still allowing you to pick it up at this point", and "pick it up at this time or im selling it to someone else...
All because i had concerns and asked a few simple questions.
I then went in to make a final pymt. I told him i didnt appreciate him being disrespectful and bullying me prior in those texts and that id like to speak to the Senior Partner to express my concerns.
He says "you bullied a woman", "im a partner, the senior partner is not available, you can talk to me"
"Hes going to side with me anyways"
I told him ill never do business here nor will i refer anyone.
The cherry on top-- he proceeds to say:
" WHO CARES; WE'LL BE SUCCESSFUL ANYWAY"
lol what kind of legitimate, professional law firm does business like that? Do they really engage the community and perspective clients like that?
I was blown away. I even emailed the Senior Partner. He never responded. I guess he did side with him...
Oh well. Just wanted to share my experience. Dont come here...

Un fraude total esta abogada Marlo Aragón ,se le contrató para un caso de custodia y manutención desde el estado de AZ ,se le pagó un anticipo de 2000 dlls y nunca más se a concretado nada del caso esto desde el mes de enero 2024 ahora estamos en agosto 2024 la Sra abogada no contesta el tel ,email , textos o WhatsApp el cual eliminó……supongo que esto es fraude un robo lo cual buscaremos ayuda en las autoridades correspondientes para solucionar este caso …No la recomiendo

If you only care about money and asset division in your divorce, then Rosalie might be a good choice. I was extremely clear from the beginning that my child's welfare and living situation was my only concern and she spent the majority of her time on financial discovery and failed to adequately represent me at the custody hearing. She billed me during facilitation while her camera was off and she was working on someone else's case. After I emailed about the charges, Tamara reduced the bill. Tamara switched me to Rosalie without my consent and she failed to read the letter I sent describing my situation before we spoke the first time. She did not prep me for the custody hearing and did not make any strong arguments in my favor and the judge did nothing about an awful living situation. She did not represent me well during facilitation and I got virtually nothing I wanted because of her failure to fight on my behalf. I wish I never hired this firm.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I chose Tamara because of her strong assertive personality, and because she was understanding about my financial situation and agreed to keep costs as low as possible. I had escaped a very bad marriage, and couldn’t afford a lawyer to get a divorce, which I just decided to live with since my ex moved across country and couldn’t hurt me too much from that far away. But a year later, my ex was diagnosed with a serious medical condition that required brain surgery, and his family tricked me into giving them my address and sent all the medical bills my way. It was tens of thousands of dollars, and I was still broke from leaving the marriage in the first place. I was so scared and realized I needed a divorce asap. I had to save up for a year to afford the retainer, and was initially told I would probably have to pay at least half of the medical bills. But in the end, Tamara got me out of ALL of the bills, out of my marriage, AND kept costs so low that she gave me half of my retainer back! Truly life-changing work that she did for me; I would not be in the place I am today without her help.

My call and potential case were quickly screened by the receptionist/legal assistant, and I was told she would pass my information to the legal team/attorneys to review. A few days later I received a call back that the legal team would not offer me a free consultation with no explanation. I asked if I could be referred anywhere in the area that could help with legal advice. She could not give me any information, resources, and did not call me back when I asked for an hourly rate to have legal advice and questions answered. I felt left in the dark and would not recommend this law firm.

I could write pages on the incredibly positive experience my mom and I had with Brian Egolf, Heather Tanner, and the staff at Egolf+Ferlic+Martinez+Harwood law firm.
