Sandhya was a pleasure to talk to. In 2021 I was referred to Sandhya by a friend who had worked with her who said she was fantastic. Boy, what an understatement! I don’t think words can express how grateful I am to have worked with Sandhya on a difficult emergency Child Custody case.
When I reached out to Sandhya initially, she returned my call quickly, told me the services she offered, and she begin advising me immediately. Over the next year, with several orders and court appearances Sandhya was always prompt, professional and thoroughly explained all of the possible outcomes in any given decision I was making. Just having her experience and guidance was monumental in keeping my sanity during an extremely stressful time.

I used Winger Mediation many years ago. My wife at the time and I both wanted an efficient and non-conflict separation, for ourselves but more so for our daughter and Ariel was the exact right choice for us. She guided us through the process and we were able to get to a smooth conclusion without a lot of challenge. I don't typically write reviews for anything , but this woman is a SAINT!
I had spent literal years consulting with different attorneys, most of which were afraid to take my case. A random person gave me her number, I called it, and when I tell you this woman took my case with a week (or so) notice of a court date, and has had my back and consulted me better than any of the other 5-10 attorneys I had spoken with prior to her, she is AMAZING.
Empathetic, to the point, financially conscious, responsive, not selfish at all, and an amazing memory to boot, she has been my absolute rock and I probably would have lost my kids if she didn't articulate correctly to me. The way she handles her business and communicates to me in such a grounded manner is precisely the reason I have my children. She is strategic as hell, like a cat waiting to pounce on the right moment, and I will never choose another attorney for family matters! The way she strategizes is also the reason why many of our disagreements can now be resolved outside of the courts, because I think many attorneys would have been impulsive in my case which would have made matters much worse in a very delicate situation! The journey through the immigration process seemed daunting and choosing an attorney seemed perhaps even more daunting.
After a first consultation with Kevin,
the process just appeared very straightfoward.
All the information he gave was clear and concise, bringing alot of needed reassurance.
He consistently remained accessible during the entire process with upmost patience answering any new questions that would arise.
There we're some complex aspects to my case that required in depth law expertise and Kevin went above and beyond to finalize brilliantly!
I couldn't have found a better attorney!
For the success of my applications but also for the extra kindness demonstrated along the way.
I also want to mention how Immigrating is and can be a very costly journey to embark on. Affordability and unseen costs we're a concern. I have appreciated that Kevin kept all fees transparent and consistently fair from go to finish!
I think he could charge more in regards of his time offered, so many other attorneys do so ruthlessly but this too reflects kevin's integrity and dedication to helping others.

I had a protracted 7 year long divorce which may seem impossible given the laws in California but if one party has money and decides rules are not for them you find yourself in court. If I had not found Rosanne at the beginning I would not be where I am today. At age 56 you can't just walk away with noting and say I can start over. The reason I am whole now is because she not only knows the law, she makes it her business to research new case law and as a result of her diligence it made all the difference in what the court awarded to me. Her briefs are so well written many judges used her text in there judgements. I was in front of 4 different judges on my journey. I couldn't have done it without her. The first thing she did was try to settle out of court and ironically if my ex had accepted the offer which based on what California law said I was entitled to nothing more, he would have saved hundreds of thousand of dollars. She makes every effort to keep you out of the courts but if you find yourself in my position she is the one you would want representing and advising you.

I wanted a lawyer who listened, counseled in a way that I understood (this being my first time dealing with a legal representative), and was a fair and honest advocate for my legal needs, and I found that in Rosanne. She helped make a difficult time in my life a little bit easier, while getting a result I feel was both acceptable and fair. I didn't want a win-at-all-costs lawyer, but I wanted someone who had my back, was easy to communicate with, and who I felt comfortable with. We avoided court, which was important for my child's emotional well-being, and worked with a sometimes challenging ex-partner to achieve as amicable a result as was feasible. Deborah Dubroff guided me through a very long, contentious divorce that involved all kinds of non standard stuff (QDROs, out of state moves, spousal support, even a contempt hearing). When I met her, I was immediately struck by her candor, razor-sharp wit, and her obvious generosity of spirit. What I mean by the last is that she took lots of time with me during our initial meeting and really listened to me. She made me feel like everything would be ok, and it was. I won the entire case, including a very large settlement. She strikes me as extremely honest. She always charged me very fairly. To sum up, I think that Deborah is sort of the antithesis of the lawyer stereotype. She really cares about her clients and their outcomes. She doesn't overcharge. She made me feel as though I got tremendous value for the money I paid to engage her services. I highly recommend her, without reservation.

I’ve been involved with the family law court system for 4 years now. I’ve learned quite a bit. I’ve self-represented myself, and had other attorneys. I can’t recommend Alexandra enough.
I had a last minute emergency order handled by Alexandra. She was professional, timely, and communicated very well. If she wasn’t so responsive I wouldn’t have had my case seen in time.
Unfortunately family law can be ugly, and Alexandra handled my case in a manner that calmed me, and she communicated my options with clarity. She treated the other party with respect. My child is doing well with the split, and gets to see both parents.
Alexandra is realistic and doesn’t give unrealistic expectations. She also is a lawyer that you can trust and doesn’t use short sighted tactics such as making up issues with the other party. I highly advise getting a lawyer that is truthful and knows the system in the county that your case resides in. This is very important. I was naive and originally expected the court and mediators to be professional and fair. For the majority of my family law experience this was not the case. Some judges and mediators are fair yet many are biased without cause. Since parents will always be the parents to the child, it is very important to get a lawyer that doesn’t see only the short term and throw mud at the other party.
As long as the system has problems, you really need a good attorney.

Alexandra was an amazing resource for me during a very challenging time. She was of course knowledgeable and professional, but she was also sensitive and caring which just made everything easier. I was always provided with sound and detailed instructions regarding my next steps, so I knew what to expect coming up. Additionaly, she was responsive to, and supportive of, any questions or concerns I had, and of my decisions while ensuring I maintained a healthy perspective of the situation.
Though my case was not terribly contentious, there were some tense moments, at which point Alex was there with a calm, reassuring presence. If you happen to be in the market and need a lawyer, I would highly recommend Mr. Knisbacher. Through a referral was how I meet Alden K., who worked on my compensation case for a few months. This was my first time seeking assistance from a legal professional. Mr. Kershner is considerate, to the point, and professional. Unfortunately he was not able to provide me with the services I needed, however, he was able to be clear and upfront about that, and provide me with references to individuals that could help me with my situation.
